I do not recommend this place! I was told that we can not guarantee that your door handle will work after the glass is replaced. We might be able to fix it, but we cannot guarantee it will work. You can take it to another shop to have the handle fixed- we are not responsible for this. Whaaat??? But the exterior door handle does not work BECAUSE of the broken glass!! Whos good with a maybe? Whos good with getting their vehicle back with a door that doesnt open? Not me

I’d give it 4.5 because at first the was an issue with the glass not fitting so I had to come back to fix it later and the main lady was a bit hard to understand. However she was trying to accommodate as she could. I noticed my car window broken on a Friday afternoon and this is the only place that even had the option to come in on Saturday. She says she had 2 windows fir my model but I e of them was for wring side, another had this bad fitting size. She let me keep the bad window till Monday, when I had only 1 hour to fix it, and I paid in cash only after that (to avoid 5% charge). Also they vacuumed everything.

Great, quick service. Initially went to Safelite where they took nearly 2 hours to tell me they didn’t have the right glass and that it would take more than a week to arrive at a cost of $360+ tax. Here they had it ready in less than 2 days (probably would’ve been sooner had Labor Day not been Monday) and at $280. Highly recommend!

After calling around several places and finding very high out of pocket costs (no comp coverage), they came in at a reasonable price and were able to get us in within 2 days. They stuck to their initial quote. The repalcenent of the window took less than one hour, and the work was meticulous. There wasnt a shard of glass left behind, and the window works flawlessly. I called this business the day after someone smashed the side window of my brand new Honda CR-V. The folks at Golden Auto Glass were able to schedule an appointment for me that same day! Fast efficient service at an affordable price. I woke up to one of my windows being busted out, and started calling around to find a repair shop. Golden Auto Glass by far offered the best price and was able to accommodate me right away. I was able to schedule an appointment and come in the next day. I was quoted an hour-and-a-half wait time and like I said the price was far lower than every other glass shop that I called. I arrived for my appointment and they were ready for my vehicle immediately. I did have to wait about 2 hours for repair and installation. But Id rather wait extra time for the superb service that was provided. My vehicle was well vacuumed out. I did not find any broken glass debris. The new window matches the rest of the glass just fine. Annie was very apologetic of the extra wait time and informed me of what was going on. Once the repair was complete the technician came out, apologized for the delay, greeted and thanked me and went on his way. Once I paid I went outside to find my vehicle ready to pull out onto the street. I highly recommend this place.

Cannot recommend highly enough! Fast, friendly, quality, available, value; you name it, they did it. My passenger front window got smashed in Sunday, I called them first thing Monday AM and they had me in by 3:30pm the next day done by 5pm despite needing a window that had to be ordered out for. Their price was cheaper than other quotes and Safelite which USAA tried to direct me to (they also had no availability for two weeks through out Seattle). If youre a busy person with stuff to do and places to go, theyre perfect for in and out service nevermind the cant beat price.

I couldnt recommend this place enough. We are from out of town, had two cars broken into (both side windows), and Golden Auto Glass fixed them SO fast. I called them for availability, dropped off the cars and they were both ready within 3 hours. They also vacuumed up all the glass inside the car!Since we were traveling, we needed them fixed very fast and they accommodated us so well. Would highly recommend and would go back if needed.

This little shop is a gem, I had someone smash a window on a Wednesday, I called around 3 on a Thursday, and they had me in on Friday. I dropped my Jeep off at 12:45 they told me to come back at 2:30. Came back at 2:30 and the vehicle was done and I was on my way. I would recommend this shop to anyone who wants quality at a great price. The shop I was first quoted at in SODO wanted almost 100 dollars more. Best value and great service.

I could not recommend these amazing people more. I had my car window broken and a bunch of items stolen on 12/30/20, right before a big road trip two days later. I called around everywhere and no one could fit me in. Not only was Golden Auto the only place to accept me on New Years Eve, they took my car at 4pm and finished fixing the window before closing, for $100 less than Safelight quoted me. Ill never go anywhere else again!

There are 2 things constant in this world: vagrants that will break into your car and Annie, the proprietor of this establishment, will fix it either same day or next day. While you wait theres a weed shop across the street and a brewery a couple buildings down. Just sayin

My second time visiting this business after taking damage from stones doled out by a semi truck on the adjacent lane. Both my visits so far have been straightforward. Appointments are available quickly- know your car model and year. The gentleman in the glass shop is thorough and takes care too replace all the stickers. He left me with double-sided tape and a blade, to replace sensors I had attached to the windshield in my preferred location. The lady is polite in her own way. Follow up instructions as always to are leave the tape on till tomorrow and no car wash for one week.There was a bit of a wait for me (two hours). Plan to have a ride back, or you can explore the neighborhood on foot while you wait. The neighborhood looks dilapidated but is interesting with some good restaurants within a moderate walking distance in Little Saigon.

They replaced the glass but the window would not stay rolled up. They told me to watch a you tube video to figure out how to fix it. I refused to pay for the service and told them to remove the glass they installed. Very unprofessional

These folks are amazing. Walked out to discover someone had smashed my window overnight. It was raining (as it does here) and I didn’t feel comfortable just leaving it, even with it wrapped/taped. It was Saturday, so my regular auto body shop was closed. Called the dealership, they couldn’t get me in and would need to order the part. Called the shop they recommended, same story. I started looking on Google and this is the first place I found. I’m glad I did! The cost was reasonable, they got me in that day, and my car was fully fixed within two hours. They even cleaned up the inside of my car where all the glass fell, which I was not expecting - SUPER kind touch. My battery also died from the interior lights being on while the doors were open (not their fault, my battery just does that..that’s another story) and they profusely apologized and gave me a jump. Car windows aren’t cheap, but I feel like I got a good deal and the customer service is top notch!

I had a thief shatter my passwnger window in the morning. They were able to fix my glass the day of within 1 hour of dropping it off. Hopefully I wont have to be a repeat customer but I will go there if I have this issue again.

Fantastic same-day repair at a price better than anywhere else, even during COVID-19! Found my car window shattered at 11am and had it replaced by 3pm with Golden Auto. Nowhere else in the area was able to fit me in but the owner kindly rearranged some appointments so I could make it to my night shift on time. Prompt, knowledgeable service and a comfortable waiting area. Google Maps tries to redirect you to the alley behind the shop but they’ve got a parking lot and entrance off of Rainier - look for the sign with big red lettering!

I called the day of when I came to my car to find it broken into. They helped confirm if they had the piece needed and quoted on the spot. It was very reasonably priced and was taken care of day of. There is a 5% charge for using a credit card. So, debit card or cash is preferred.

Highly recommend. Unmatched professional ethics! I drove in with a windshield crack that another shop quoted $150 to fix. Golden Auto Glass took a look and said it had already been fixed and nothing needed to be done anymore. So they could have easily charged me $100 and do nothing. But instead chose to be honest and say it as it is. I highly encourage supporting this behaviour with generous tipping, which I did.

This place is fantastic. They are well priced and extremely capable.During a recent family road trip to Seattle (we are from Canada), we had a broken window in our van thanks to a petty thief. We discovered the broken window at 8:30am, and after phoning around found Golden Auto Glass. Annie told us that she could help, without hesitation. She managed to get us in for repairs immediately and was instrumental in getting us back on the road. She was done with us by 11:00, and we were back on the road.I remain immensely impressed with Golden Auto Glass, she moved her standing appointments around (with their permission) and helped a family with 4 kids get moving again. The work was great, the price was fair, and the service was above and beyond.When bigger brands told us wed have to wait 3 or 4 days for an appointment, she had us in right away and done in 3 hours.

My car was broken into and I had heard this was a cheap place to get the window fixed I called and scheduled and appointment easy enough. When I showed up to my first appointment I found out she ordered the wrong window and would be able to fix the problem today but I would have to come back later. When I came back she had not booked me in and told me I was now a walk in and would have to wait a couple hours to get my window fixed. I can not believe the amount of time she wasted and the. She tells me she has more then enough business and doesn’t need mine. Save yourself the hassle and just pay 20$ bucks more for a five star service

These guys are great. Annie was super responsive and got me in the very same day. She coordinated everything with my insurance company so that getting my windshield replaced was a breeze. They walked me through their entire process and also showed me where the last company who replaced my windshield damaged the molding a couple of spots. Their attention to details shows. I was in and out in about an hour. I know they also can come to you, but it was easier for me to swing by their location instead. Definitely will be coming back for any window that needs replacement.

The owner Anny is the rudest person I’ve ever met. She’s not professional either. I asked for a passenger-side window, but they gave me a driver-side’s after I arrived.The whole conversation could’ve been finished in 10 minutes. But the owner kept talking to other walk-in customers without letting me finish. Waited for 30 minutes to get a quote( other customers walked in and the owner started to talk to them, totally ignoring me).Not recommend.

Some a*hole broke into my car and broke both of my passenger side windows, contact Golden Glass and got them replaced within hours. Anne grab the glass from store right away after our call to make sure I got have new windows for the day. John did delicate work to clean every bit of glass shards and make sure it functions smoothly, and everything for a fair price. They sure made my day, highly recommended!

This is a small auto glass shop in SoDo, right near the Rainier exit. I needed to have my rear windshield replaced, after my building garage door came down on it. I called around to several auto glass places in the downtown Seattle area, and Golden Glass was the only one that was able to fit me in that day so I would be able to use my car over the weekend. Their estimate was also the lowest out of the 4-5 places I called.Im very happy I was able to get my windshield replaced so quickly, and the work looks clean and well-done. My car was broken into and this shop gave me the lowest quote and were able to make me an appointment within an hour and a half (other shops could not schedule me until at least late afternoon). I had a rear door window replaced here on October 6th. Great service from initial call to installation. First they had to source the window as its an older car. They did that quickly and then installed the window the following day. Very professional, reasonably priced and highly recommended.

Was able to make a same day (actually same hour!!) appointment to get the windshield replaced on my camry. They quoted me the lowest price out of 3 other services and had the windshield replaced in a couple hours.After waiting for a week as recommended to let the adhesive cure, I have since taken the car through the car was twice and no leaks whatsoever. I have used these place 3 times to change windshields of my cars - This explains the conditions of road in Seattle.The pricing is reasonable and wait area is comfortable. I was waiting for over 75 minutes with no appointment and left happy with shiny new windshield on my vehicle. They made it easy.However, car is making terrible noise as my Honda Odyssey was really quite and now, its really noisy. I would recommend going to regular glass replacement place and dont just look at price as criteria as I didnt want to spend more. You get what you pay...

Had a window busted out. These guys were absolutely great. They saw me same day without an appointment, vacuumed up all the glass and had a new one put in for the best price around and in just over an hour. Best of all, the glass is made in AMERICA! Now, that is not something you see everyday and is worth going back there all by itself in my opinion.

They replaced the passenger side window on my 2012 Ford work van the same day it was broken and for a really fair price. All the broken glass was vacuumed out and I received my van extremely clean. I highly recommend them.

The worst kind of service possible. I had a chip on the windshield. The person at the center told us it will cost 60$. And did not mentioned that there is a chance that they cant repair it. After 15 min working on it the owner came and told us that the windshield needs to be replaced. Now I have to pay my deductible which is 250$ instead of just 60$. The owner was not even apologetic and tried to sell us a duplicate windshield. She said our insurance company has approved us original factory windshield and it will take 7 business days. When I called the insurance company they said they have not approved original windshield yet and will review our application in couple of days. This place is a rip off dont do any kind of repair work here. Highly unethical.

I just used Golden Auto Glass on Rainier to fix my cracked windshield and a smashed side window. They did it well and quickly that same day while I waited. I definitely would come back if I ever have car glass needs in the future!

This place is very affordable and professional.The back door window of my Mercedes was smashed and I didnt have my car insured for this. I asked Safelite first because they were the biggest. Their quote was around $470 and the glass was supposed to be $350 ish. Then I called Golden Auto Glass, they only quoted $262 and glass was a mere $130. I was suspicious and then called Mercedes Dealership directly and they said an original glass was $180. Ha, what a joke, Safelite.Then that made it a no brainer. I went to Golden Auto Glass and they cleaned up all the broken pieces inside the car and replaced with a good quality glass that looks exactly the same as the original one (except for the logo at the corner of course).So I highly recommend this place if you dont have insurance for broken glass.

Car was broken into on 5/26/18 at 7:30 am. They said i could come in at 10:00. Fixed by 11:00. All the shops in the shops in the Sodo area could not do it till Tuesday or Thursday. Had to pay a little over deductable, but thats OK. Better than waiting 3-5 days.
