Easy to miss, stand alone Italian shop in Schenectady.They are celebrating 100 years of business! Be careful pulling the necessary U-turn when you drive by. Shelves and coolers were full of homemade meats, spices, cheeses, pastries and pastas. Attentive and friendly staff who enjoyed talking about food and the family history.

Even tho its a Italian grocery store, they make the Best Pizza in Upstate New York. If I was Dave Portney from Barstool Sports, I would give it 8.5 out of 10! Everyone should be ordering from here because its Freaking Amazing.

Very disappointed at Easter time ....I always called to make sure I didnt have to order easter pies...always was told no....this yr bc of covid if you wanted pies they had to be ordered ahead of time. Ugh

The delicious smells that greet you as soon as you walk in the door make the visit worth your time. Then you get into the meats & cheeses and all the marinated nummies in their case and then the store baked pizzas and the cookies and cannolis... HEAVEN!!!

One of the most Authentic Italian Stores in the Capital district with great quality cheeses, traditional deli meats, pastas, olives, olive oil and deserts.Definitely reminds me of my Italian Grandparents and the tastes they shared with me as a boy.I cant recommend it enough.

Excellent Italian store. Staff is very friendly. Mary (owner) is so sweet. We always have her grate our Locitell cheese with the machine. The eggplant bread, sausage bread and other stuff like broccoli pizza is amazing. Get there early.We love this family Italian store that has been open for over 95 years. What a gem. I can tell Marys grandson is going to have this place open for at least another generation and with any luck, his children will have the same personality and keep it going for a very long time.

One of Schenectady’s hidden gems that has been in business for almost 100 years. This Italian specialty store has everything you need for an authentic Italian meal and more. The Homemade pastries are the best in the Capital District. They offer cheese, sausage, homemade pizza, stuffed breads, all the stuff needed to make your own cannolis and much more. If you love Easter Pie theirs are the best.I need to add that I stopped in today to pick up something for dinner, they had homemade eggplant bread, now I’ve had the sausage and peppers bread, broccoli bread and spinach bread, the eggplant bread was so delicious!! I didn’t think it could get any better then the other ones I’ve tried but this was so good. And I picked up a few cannolis, OMG There really the best I’ve ever had.
