Fairly stocked Walmart location. Im able to pick up almost anything I need, even if its available online for curbside pickup. Cool staff as well.

It can be better. I went for a oil change and found a wrench under my hood. Now it serves as a reminder why I do not go back. Side note I still have the wrench in my trunk. I truly wonder if they ever noticed they were missing something.

I called inquiring about copying photos and the representative was so professional and patient with my questions. Grand interpersonal skill set. I’ll definitely be to the Altamont, Schenectady, NY store soon.

No complaints. Walmart has some things that other businesses do not. Kmart and Office Max used to offer an option to the community. Now that they have left, this Walmart in Rotterdam will fill the void for those in search of a local catch-all store. Self check-out made it easy for me and my fellow co-shoppers.

I work at Walmart and they pay really well and they have great benefits. It’s also one of my main shopping locations too because they have good prices and great customer service. I’ve been working there for almost a year now and hopefully I can’t complain about their flexibility on scheduling and work hours.

Friendly and efficient service. And the food was very good.

This store is not a supercenter so it does not have the whole grocery section but it has most of your essentials. It is always clean and the staff are always so friendly and helpful. I really love going here if I need to stop somewhere just to grab a few things.

Went to Walmart for some stuff for my sons birthday. It is 6:21pm when everyone is getting off work. There is obviously some lack in proper scheduling for the staff as there is only one lane open and self check out. There was no announcement over loud speaker to staff for assistance at checkout. And there was a line going strait to the food isles from self checkout.

Always a good shopping experience. However, shelves have been bear of Worcestershire sauce and Gatorade. There were some other things as well and this has been going on for a while. Weve had to shop here then go to their competition Price Chopper to get the rest of what we need. This has somewhat negated the pay less motto.

Best pharmacy in the area. Pharmacy staff is top notch. Super helpful and thorough. The remainder of the store is awful. Most employees ignore you especially if they are stocking shelves. They treat customers as if they are hindering their work when the customers are trying to shop and navigate the aisles. The parking lot is a mess. People smoking in the entrance area. Big thanks to the pharmacy staff for making any visits tolerable.

Absolutely awful! Returned process is horrendous, they do not give you a receipt indicating what items were returned, you are supposed to take their words for it. As I was trying to return my items the associate handling my return kept taking the items and handing it to another associate that was leaving area, you couldn’t even tell if she was scanning the items. Management is not helpful at all, they support their staff unethical behaviors. You are better off shopping at Target, where you are provided with a receipt for every transaction and a helpful staff that speaks to you with respect.

Great prices, always have what i need. store is neat and clean. excellent customer service up front and all employees were very nice, (especially for what they deal with on a daily basis). i know it’s just a walmart but this one is the best in the area!

What can you say everybody knows Walmart is Walmart right but I find the pharmacy to be exceptional

The first time I shopped in a Wal-Mart that was two stories. We purchased a cellphone. The customer service was excellent. They set it up for Straight Talk. We were very happy 😊 with our experience.

Brought my mom here shopping when we came down for a visit. I was excited because this Walmart in Schenectady has so much more than the Walmart where I live in Plattsburgh. I will continue to stop in and see what you have every trip to moms house!!

Absolutely no place to park for curbside pickup. Why would a big store only have 4 reserved curbside pickup spaces? The only good thing was the associate in the pickup department was awesome. She was super friendly and was willing to help out!

Its Walmart, except with this one the Walmart creatures come out about 4 hours earlier. They also have no fresh food, only frozen.

Never greeted any more..At door, Seems like when you ask most employees for help, They are never around, or dont want to be bothered .,, except one Man thats been there for ever? Do not know his name. Only I know what he looks like??. 😞Also, I do wish we in Rotterdam Ny, had a super center in the vacant building right next door! It would be so busy, but grocery should stay separate next door,, cause they both would make customers go into both stores, If I only had the finances, to buy and join The Walmart team. Disorganized, low staff. Theyre probably not getting paid well to deal with all of what comes with the job and having to take on so many roles due to understaffing. Cant blame them but walmart really needs to step up at this location.

I never new this, that Walmart fixes flat tires for $15 on weekends to. It was so quick in an hour.. Thanks Walmart you have very good employees.

This place has horrible customer service. They seem to make up their own rules as they go along. Quite different than other Walmart stores. The grocery section is very limited. They dont even have coffee creamer!!

Its Walmart. On top of that, its not a real supercenter and has no full size grocery department, just a few aisles with some odds and ends. So if your going to pick up some items to grill out or make dinner skip this location because they do not even have meat or produce department, not carry any of those kinds of items.

Alright but could be better had to come back 3 times to replace the key that was made in the automotive section because it didnt work.

The Customer service is great at the pharmacy kelly definitely is awesome. Very helpful and the pharmacists also are so so helpful and understanding as well... Were extremely happy to have found such a great group of people.

You are better off shopping online these days. Most items I find in Walmart end up being cheaper online even after shipping fees.

Not a great 1st impression. The store was cluttered, messy and had tons of holes on shelves. Though understaffed, they seem pretty nice.

Like any WalMart in America always busy and crowed and always a line and a mess. I only come here if other stores like target for example dont have it in stock or dont carry it. Definitely my last resort.

Came to Schenectady on vacation and Im from queens,New York. I can recommend this walmart because everyone had a smile on their face So friendly, so helpful. This walmart cannot compare to the one in valley stream, long island everything was the opposite.

Store was fairly small compared to other Wal-Mart stores Ive visited!? 🤷🏽‍♀️ But all-in-all was ok! Customer service was very good.

Always a lack of open registers. Hard to find staff members with keys to open locked display cases. Warranty issues are ridiculous. Purchased 2 yr warranty on a tool that stopped working first day. Tried to return and exchange at store but was told I could not because of warranty purchase, told I had to go thru maker of tool. That involved filling out paperwork and other tedious tasks. When finished and finally able to communicate with company I was told it was not covered by them until 90 days after purchase and to return to store for refund. Second round at store was same as first. Decided to do it my way and tossed tool in dumpster and bought another one. 1 year later it is still working great.

Got to talk to police officers very fun recommend this to ages one to whenever you die 😂

I went to the pharmacy department around 11am this morning 2/21 and saw a small female worker on the floor with a sanitizing spray bottle and tissues, wiping away at the shelves. I can’t remember her name but it had 3 letters. I worked at Walmart in Florida for 10 years and I know that teenage sale associates can care less about keeping things clean, or even put that much effort. She came up to me and asked if I needed assistance out of her own politeness. I was pleased to see that they care so much about the customers health and satisfaction in this Walmart. Speaking for the elders, I appreciate the cleanliness during the pandemic and doing small things to keep us covid free !!

Cant ever find someone to assist you. People go in with no mask and none of staff demand them to wear one. And theres staff right when you walk in. No one stays 6 ft away. I personally feel that Wal-Mart cares more about making sales than keeping people safe. Or stocking their shelves.or cleaning and sanitizing.

Ive never had a problem with Walmart until I order the futon and it needed to be returned two days in a row Ive had to sit at home waiting for no one to come. So now on my third day I complained and they gave me a $25 off coupon but you have to spend $45 in order to redeem it go figure

Wal-Mart was busy, as I expected it would be this time of year. Parking was even more challenging today because of the 30 of snow the day before. The self serve checkout is generally a convenient way to make a purchase and I never have to wait long for an available register. Two clerks in Health and Beauty were helpful to me today. One assisted me with finding an item and another confirmed that the item I was looking for was not in stock at this time.

Had what I needed at a great price and was helped when needed.

This place has the worst customer service. People who look like they hate their jobs and cashiers who dont even talk to you at checkout. Well I shouldnt be expecting any better because its Walmart. Ghetto as usual

Walmart was a Mess !!! Very rude staff and police cars everywhere ! Extremely Filthy ! Floors, carts, merchandise all over the floor, entire store Discusting !!! Customers yelling, Nothing on shelves, will Never return to this Walmart Ever Again !!!

I ordered something online. I paid for the item the store says they have the item and they say to pick it up before 8pm. I get there and they dont have what I ordered and paid for and they stated theres nothing we can do for you. I said no exchange nothing and they are like nope Im like ok bye.

I was at super Walmart in Scotia glenville this afternoon and there was a family of four, a mother and her three children and they also had a dog with them on a leash service vest tags to identify it as a service pet then the dog which was less than a year old it seemed like a big puppy started scratching and itching and biting itself like it had fleas and parasites or something on it and this happened right near the bread and produce and bakery lunch meat department I became disgusted and spoke to some store associates so hopefully this will not happen in the future a service pet is one thing this was just a family pet service pets need to be identifiable with accompanying tags and vest this was a very repulsive experience and I hope corporate looks into it

Going toe to toe with amazon in online retail stores. And has Sears like physical stores. Weekly we find almost everything we need.

Some Wal-Mart have bad customer service yet I will always love Wal-Mart which some call it Wally World lol
