Great place for thrifted clothes for cheap. You have to rummage through the buckets yourself and most of the stuff isn’t useable, but you can find some good items there if you dig around. I got 8 things of clothes for only $6.53 and some of them were well known brands. When I went I think it was 89 cents a pound of clothes. Great deal. Just make sure you wash them after you get them because they’re dirty and smell.
Goodwill of Southeast Georgia has an online sales site at shop goodwill.com. I was sent an item that was advertised incorrectly. Chris was able to fix it when other people at the main office were not.
It is definitely a thrift store to say the least. It is all super inexpensive and there are so many different brands. How ever the staff are so sweet and so kind.
Love this place! It’s like a big treasure hunt lol
Not what I expected, however, if your comfortable with being elbow to elbow with a stranger digging through a large container. You will reap the reward of some good finds. Also, there system of weighing your is legit. For a black trash bag full of cloths it cost almost 9 Dollars.
A lot of bins with a large variety of items. Staff was very polite & helpful.
Love this location. They actually work and rotate every 2 hours and the bins are full so its possible to find all kinds of goodies!
I went in looking for cookbooks and came out with a beautiful hand sewn quilt. That’s not why I’m leaving this review though. On my way out it started to rain, I stood at the door for a minute contemplating if I was going to remove my very large quilt and carry it to my car or if it was easier to push my cart to my car and return it after unloading. Without skipping a beat Chris Washington walked up and asked if he could help me, he pushed my cart to my car for me. He didn’t act like he did it for anything in return, the world needs more gentleman like Chris and I’m happy I ran into him! It was a small but very kind gesture that meant a lot to me. Thank you Chris! I’ll be back!
I just happened on the Outlet while visiting Savannah. My first time and I got pretty much all name brand shoes...Vintage Chanel ballet flats, Tieks Ballet flats, some cute summer wicker purses, and vintage Embroidered Tablecloths and Doilies. I never knew this was down here and will be traveling more now!!
Not a bad store. This was my first trip to a Goodwill Outlet and it met my expectations. I found some excellent pieces and two pairs of cute wedges. The staff was friendly, some of the other shoppers definitely have room for improvement though. Regardless, I spent 4.5 hours in the store on 11/20/18, Ill probably drop in again next week too lol
Ive been to many outlets and I have to say this is by far the WORST! Everything is junk and not worth your time. Save yourself the trouble. I was really hoping for a good one but they have picked through everything and this store is where the garbage goes 😪
Nice price for by the pound clothing and what not. The bins are very disorganized though but oddly thats what makes it appeal to me. I kinda dig rummaging through the clothes. Their bin system is top notch though, the are switching them out constantly so theres always something new to look at.
Good place to find some unique stuff nice staff
They sell by the weight instead of the item. Such great deals for great items!
Books are NOT sold by the pound, even though they had signs that said they were. Misleading.
Shane Mathews is incorrect. The items are those that didnt sell within a timeframe at the main store. You really have too dig around, and you will find great stuff. The electronics is what I go for. Never had an issue with any, plus I check them out before I leave the store. You do have to be wary of some of the regular shoppers, if youve gone, you know what I mean. They will run you over like savages.😂
TERRIBLE!! This used to be a really cool branch of Goodwill, where there was always something worth stopping in to check out. Today my experience and the overall quality of the store is completely the opposite. Aside from bins of mixed up clothes and shoes there is almost nothing else there. What other merchandise was available was completely junk.... Either totally broken, missing parts, or filthy. Cant believe they are even trying to make money off of complete trash.
You cant beat these prices. I wish they kept toys in same bin with donations so pieces wouldnt get separated. Tape or bag puzzles please.
Loved it and so worth it
The last time that I was here everything was on hangers. There were shelves. Now its sold by the pound. You dig in bins to find what you want. It was very akward. I felt like something would bite me on my fingers if I went too far in the bins. I dont believe that I will be returning to this one on Sally Mood.
I man named Jesus B checked me out, he is very nice! Great place
I found few people are fighting each other and they took everything within seconds and they sell it outside... Its horrible.. Try to maintain that name. I think staff are supporting those people. Otherwise its a great place
Very cool you gotta search but cant beat the price!
If yall are going to require people to wear masks, you should also think about training your employees to properly wear masks themselves. Half of the employees including the manager have it below their nose. Its sad
Wouldnt let me in with my family
This is a Goodwill Outlet. It is well organized, clean and the aisles are wide enough to walk through. The staff is friendly, helpful and courteous. It has a variety of clothes, shoes, bags, books, and electronics. They took out the glassware etc. because it wasn’t selling. Overall good experience and everything is reasonably priced by the pound.
This outlet was clean and well organized. The staff were much more friendly than other outlets weve visited. It had a good selection of clothes.
A lot of junk, trash and dead mouse smell!!
Employees are very nice!
I love this place. When I have time I love going treasure hunting. Buying by the pound is so much cheaper. I bought a cart full for only 32.00. Cant beat that anywhere. Plus it helps out a great cause.
Great finds. I found in excellent shape build a bear that was fully dressed. I found tons of name brand clothing for 2t through 4t girls in great condition. Since it was priced by the lb..I paid $23 for 3 bags full 👍👍woo hoo😊😊
The staff is always helpful and professional! I shop at this store at least 3 to 5 times a week. I always have a fun shopping experience when shopping at this Goodwill Outlet Store. Happy Treasure Hunting!!!
You have to dig....but its cheap!
It is what it is. You can find some really great deals, but be ready to dig and it can be dirty... The employees have always been very nice while ai was there.
This store was great until about a month ago. The staff has always been great. The store was well organized. Generally,if you wanted linens, small electrics, books etc.,you knew where to look. Of course,it was always an adventure to dig through the bins to hunt for treasures,as the former manager used to say.Now someone in corporate, who has probably just graduated college and never set foot in a Goodwill store has decided to change everything around. For one thing, the merchandise is disorganized, everything is just tossed into the bins. They probably got rid of the manager. The store just isnt the same. I dont intend to shop there again.
Everything is by the pound here. I spent $20 bills mainly because I got some vintage jackets! Go early for the new stuff. Lymus the manager was helpful and polite! Will def come back. Will update good pics too!
Disappointing. Good deals on the items you might find but you have to pick through a lot of junk to find anything worth keeping. Most items in large bins. No AC. Some customers are a bit hostile lol.
A bit tedious having to look through all of the bins but good finds. And the prices are awesome since they do it by weight. Got 2 pairs of pants, 5 tops, a dress, and a heavy wool over coat for 12 bucks
If you like to go through huge bins of clothes, shoes, and whatever.. youre going to love it..I dont so Im not going to that Goodwill again..
Got 3 name brand hoodies and one pair of designer jeans all for 5.60. I recommend you wash everything before you wear it.
This place used to be my go to for thrifted items. But a couple of months ago they changed the whole store around and it looks like a wreck. The whole back area was full of furniture and other housewares - that’s gone. All of the racks of well organized clothing are now just hap-hazardly thrown into big bins. Unfortunate.
Always pleasant. Cannot always find what one is seeking but still manage to find a few treasures!
It was a pleasant visit clean the only thing I didnt like was that this stuff you had to dig through it it wasnt an order thats how they do it that I throw it on the table and you buy it by the pound
I love goodwill because it helps. People be better in life
I love this store, the workers are friendly and helpful, thanks to everyone that work so hard to give me this great place to shop.
Great place. But have all day
Its a good store to work with other employees & shop their
Lots of good values to be discovered
Its obvious that several people leaving negative reviews on this particular goodwill store are unaware of one or more of the following:1) This was a typical goodwill store up until 1-2yrs ago. So, yes, it had glassware and furniture and clothing racks and all the other stuff one reviewer mentioned.2) The GW store was moved down the street on Eisenhower Drive into the old NAPA building (next to Sakura Buffet).3) This building on Sallie Mood still belongs to and is utilized by Goodwill but has transitioned into an OUTLET store. From what I was told, the items rejected by and/or unable to be sold by the other goodwill stores comes here and --as I saw in person--is weighed and sold by the pound. Hence the reason for the large tubs Every thing is thrown into. It has nothing to do with laziness (as one reviewer claimed). They are trying to get as much money as they can out of/for as much of the donations as possible. Very smart idea!!!I personally havent bought anything from there yet, so giving three stars for neutrality. Every one met there has been nice. Parking is fine. The items i tend to find are worse for wear condition wise, and for myself dont feel comfortable treasure hunting there without gloves.(Personal preference. Nothing against GW. i shop at typical thrift shops all the time and used to work at a donation drop off area and secondhand store where i had to touch all sorts of questionable things that couldve gotten me sick).I wish everyone there the absolute best!
A bunch of junk in a bin
Very community focused with a lot of resource information.
This store you have to buy by the pound its cluttered and disorganized. You cant find any kind of clothes you want because everything is mixed up. It is not a good store to shop at. I will not be coming back.
Staff was polite and helpful. Prices are unbeatable.
Clothing by the pound. Betsey Johnson dress with tags attached.
Limus might as well be the CEO...greets everyone with warmth. If you have visited different outlets before, these guys are very laid back and so is the atmosphere...Main focus is clothes ....price decrease per pound as you buy more .....very encouraging...No pushing shoving or haggling.Nice experience...found what i expected and a little more....some John Deere, Orvis, Tommy hilfiger, Ralph lauren, banana republic, brooks brothers, not so much on sports jersey.Nice variety of shoes a la Johnston Murphy and nikes .To be fair we were there 3 hours 2pm to 5pm.
Awesome
Love this store!! I try to shop here once a week!!
Staff are above average at being helpful
Good price
This is the laziest goodwill I’ve ever seen. Everything is thrown in bins. You have to sift through clothing, shoes and books.
Great store and staff.
Great environment with great people
I have been to several Goodwill Outlets (by the pound) stores and I am VERY disappointed in this store. I think they should take a trip to Asheville and look how they do theirs.
Be prepared to dig - nothing on hangers. Very random!
Awesome
Bought great items, store was junky and dirty.
Cheap and good variety of goods
Not sure if I like the bin setup. It is a lot of work digging but, it appears that paying by weight is cheaper than paying for each piece.
Didnt realise it had changed to a by the pound store.
They weigh by the pound so you can get a lot for cheap, but its really unorganized.
Totally horrible they really let the place go to hell
Prices are to high
I really hate the new bin format, walked out immediately
Nice people and fun
Fast and friendly services
As far as being an employee the pay is not to be desired to support a family with, management is well below standard.
Wonderful Nice an Clean
Always GREAT DEALS!!
Best goodwill ever
So cheap! Something there for anybody!
Binds to dig through and its sold by the pound
You pay by the pound here.
Really cheap! Everything here is bought by the pound.
