I am a tourist from North Carolina, here only for 2 nights, and this ridiculous woman insists I put on a mask when there were zero customers in the store! Only 2 clerks (including witchy-poo) and me. I was planning on purchasing more, but I stopped and immediately paid and left. She, (lovely [sarcastic]) “Kate”, is the reason I will never return to this silly store….until they replace such a hideous manager that is sadly lacking in people skills! This is my new favorite store of all time. The workers here have southern hearts of gold.... please give them a raise. They are so friendly and helpful and really took the time to answer my questions to help me make my purchase. They put a Cat and the Hat show about honey on for my kids while we shopped. They even saw my daughters skimmed elbow from a tumble she took just before we came in and cleaned and bandaged her, also offering both kids honey sticks and water. We are on AIP diets and I definitely will be buying all my honey here forever more. This was definitely the best shop we visited in all of Savannah. Thank you so much.

Went here for my 21st birthday to try some mead and it was such an amazing experience! Hannah went above and beyond to make my experience that much better and while I had no expectations going in, I definitely did not expect such a wonderful time :)100% recommend!!

Such a fun place with lots of great gifts. The honey tasting bar is perfect for finding your favorite honey or something as a gift. The mead bar is $12 for 6-1 ounce pours. The bartender was knowledgeable and fun. They had a seasonal bourbon barrel honey which was wonderful. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. This is a great place to learn more. Cheers 🍻

Im so glad my husband and I stumbled upon this place. If you are a honey enthusiast, or frequently use honey for tea and other meals, I recommend this place. Not only can you partake in a honey tasting, you can also sample the lotions that contain honey. Best of all, they have a lovely mead tasting in the back of the store!!! That was the most fun. I think Ive found my new favorite drink category. Who knew there was a middle ground/love child between beer and wine? Yes please.

A local shop where they sell almost exclusively honey, and hundreds of other things derived from honey. The shop is dedicated to saving the bees, which in my opinion is noble. Everytime I come to town, I make it a point to stop by here.

First time going here, its a very nice store. They have honey to eat, drink, for your body, the staff were super friendly. My daughter and u bought bought lip balm, honey tea, and sampled a few lotions.

They do not sell bees here!!!Lots of honey varieties you can taste. And very expensive spoons to help extract honey from bottles.

I never thought I would stumble across the little cute bee place that offers meades tasting! The Savannah honey sample was so great I purchased a bottle! The Meade tasting was $12 per person and you get to sample all the things at the bar! Yum! The rhythm and blues was my favorite! Check it out! You will not be disappointed!

This place was amazing. Such a great little shop to walk into. We bought a honey comb to eat with a cheese tray and it was so so yummy! I definitely recommend that. They have great gifts to to give to people! Loved it!

Great surprise. We were just walking around town and thought it would be neat to drop in. There is plenty for everyone, adults and kids. Honey selection is amazing along with other bee products. Theres a kids area and a sample station.My favorite part and a pleasant surprise was the mead bar in the back. There was quite the selection and the atmosphere lent do a great experience. David, the mead man behind the bar, was very knowledgeable & helped me through the flight.This is a great stop for any Savannah visitor.

Superb staff and atmosphere. The layout of the store is welcoming. The smallest honey sizes make s great gift, but if you are looking for something of daily use go ahead and spend the money on the larger sizes. Staff is always asking if customers need help, and they never get bothered by even the most basic bee questions.

Cute place to get local and regional honey. They have a pretend 2 story hive for the kiddos while you shop. A new fun addition my boys enjoyed was getting to pour your own Savannah local honey into the container - didnt cost any more than the regular price. A must do when we return to our old home of Savannah.

We visited the Broughton St store today and had a fabulous Covid safe visit. The staff is friendly, and they limit how many enter so it doesn’t get crowded. My family all appreciate this extra step in making us feel safe! Love the products and delicious honey!!

Amazing shop with a fantastic selection of local honey. There is a big tasting bar along with many products made with honey. There is also a mead bar in the back along with tasting. Very friendly staff and pet-friendly place. Highly recommend.

Mead tasting looks fancy here, but since I am not a big fan of alcohols, so I didn’t got to try it. But the decoration is nice, and different kind of honeys for you to try, and they are definitely good! 4 star because the little spoon coast 6.50, did not know the price till I left😂! Kinda over price!

While on the Savannah Tasting Tour, we visited the Savannah Bee Company on our last stop. We engaged in tasting the many different varieties of honey. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable about all the products they produce. Our favorites were the Palmetto honey, Tupelo honey and the Sourwood honey. Very good selection of honey, honey combs, beauty products and memorabilia. A must see if in Savannah.

I thought I treat myself to some fine Hungarian acacia honey. Instead I got a watered down honey, bordering syrupy. One can still tell the honey they started with was of good quality, therefore the 2 stars. It s a shame tho, that even when you charge $35 per 20oz you still can not offer an honest unadulterated honey.

I am an avid supporter of The Savannah Bee Company and their non-profit, The Bee Cause Project. This store in particular is one of my favourites. The staff is always friendly and seem so happy to work there. I dont actually like honey, but I love thr beeswax candles and body products. I just bought a conditioner today and am excited to try!!!

Delightful shop, tupelo honey was my favorite!

We walked in and I was immediately called out in front of the entire store because my mask was slightly off my nose. I didnt even realize it until she yelled across the store. My suggestion would be to walk up to the customer within 6 ft and politely ask them to adjust their mask instead of embarrassing the customer. Horrible customer service from the get. Seemed like a nice place though, and we were probably going to spend 2 or 3 hundred dollars until she opened her mouth. We immediately left. Just make sure your mask is perfectly positioned on your face or they will embarrass you in front of the whole store. Very rude.

This is probably one of my most favorite shops to visit when Im in Savannah. This place has everything honey. There are so many different flavors of honey, but none of them mask their natural flavor. It was really fun to get to taste a few different flavors. They also have many different honey body products. I fell in love with their lavender honey. I bought body wash and body balm. The body balm really goes a long way. Just a dime size is enough to cover both feet, hands, and elbows. While there I also did a mead tasting. Same concept as a wine tasting, but way different taste a process to make it. If I wasnt on a budget I wouldve left with a lot more products. Prices were also very decent and items came in various sizes. I highly suggest checking it out.

It’s hard to beelieve that bees made a honey with such exquisite flavors. Sample meads at the bar beehind everything. You’ll never find another shop with such an extensive collection of products dedicated to honey in its many forms. Honey, bee sure to check out this sweet store!

I love this place. Why? Because I am all about honey bees. PLUS... you can sample all the honeys, the meade, and the hand cremes. Its a great place to pick up a local, tasty souvineer and adopt a honey bee.

Ive been coming her for years and always taste the samples of course! Today I did the mead sampling which was only 7 dollars! The lady was even super nice and brought out some that werent necessarily on the tasting menu, because some of them were to sweet for me. Great experience, more than worth the price!

As I sit at home waiting for the next chapter of my life after quarantine to begin, I am incredibly thankful to have bought an extra jar of my favorite honey while I was in Savannah last July. Its the little things that keep you going.

This is expensive honey and I would have expected better service. I had been here once before and recalled being able to sample the honey. The guy helping me either didnt know what he was doing or didnt care enough to want to assist me. I asked if I could sample between 2 flavors I was considering and he said it could be arranged. Well it never happened and he made me feel like the didnt do that any longer, however, after he walked away from me I saw another women providing great customer service to others and allowing then to taste the flavors. I grabbed the wine bottle.of honey and left feeling like I just waisted your employees time.

Why go here? Bee-cause! Everything you could ever want related to bees. Only minor complaint was that they were sold out of their popular Tupleo Honey.

I stop in here every time Im in town from Atlanta. I drag whoever Im with in saying they have to experience the honey tasting bar, but really I just want to visit it again myself. When my husband and I were in town a couple weeks ago we did the mead tasting which was a lot of fun. Bought one of the meads we tasted home as a souvenir.

I love everything here. And when I say everything, I mean everything. The honey of course, soaps, chapsticks, lotions, mead, chocolates; EVERYTHING. Whatever you pick is pretty much guaranteed to be great. The only thing Ive ever had that I was iffy on was the honey candied pecans. They tasted good, but they were too hard for me cause I have TMJ.

What an unpleasant experience. Staff was unfriended, unaccomidating, and unprofessional.Go to the Bay location instead!I have been here before and the company itself is nice, but this staff really kills it.Between getting hawl-eyes suspiciously throughout time after entering then being told to leave the store 5 minutes later due to lack of mask, asked very politely if staff had a spare available as much S.O. left his while about walking around, got sharp responses from a particular employee which said no and firmly gestured us to leave.No hospitality and very income considering I had over $100 of product in hand.

My family and I stopped here to do a little shopping. Then we noticed the mead tasting station in the back. My wife and I tried them and ended up purchasing a few bottles. Ill be back in January to purchase a few more bottles. They also had lots of other products that are made from honey.

I love this store! The employees are always nice and helpful. The store is neat and they have testers out for most items. Today they started a rewards program and we were able to be signed up and save $5 on our purchase. Products are always good!

An interesting stop. Love the honey tasting! I didnt know there was an infinite numbers of ways to do honey! The Apple, honey comb and cheese were amazing! Must get theFlight while youre there. TheFlight is a Meade tasting. The bar keep did an excellent job of explaining each one. My sister and I really enjoyed comparing notes. Her favorite was Nectar of the Hops the and my favorite was the Mystic Currants. Staff was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.

Ridiculously expensive but this place is so cool. There is a very neat play area for kids, awesome (pricey) honey products for any want or need (they all had samples) and some very cool mead tasting with a very knowledgeable bartender. Cool experience if you are in the area.

The Savannah Bee Company is a very unique and beautifully decorated store. They have a plethora of products with honey. They have bath and body products with honey or beeswax, wine (mead) with honey, different flavored honey, books about honey (or bees), hand cut raw acacia honeycombs, t-shirts and more! There are tasting counters to sample some of the products they sell like the raw honeycomb, the different flavors of honey, and you can even sample the wines (mead) for a small fee. Theres a small area for kids to play while you shop around. Plenty of smiling faces. Staff was very welcoming and knowledgeable. It was a delightful visit.
