Her restaurant attached to her store was a disappointment. The basket of bread arrived with human hair baked in it, the plates and serving dishes were plastic, and the ladies room was disgusting. Our meal was decent but I will not eat here again.
Absolutely horrible! Good was cold, salty. Poor customer service 😔. Never again! Not recommend. Fried chicken was so salty! Yuk!
Fabulous lunch. Calamari...char grilled oysters and shrimp po boy were amazing!!
My family and I went on vacation to Savannah georgia and wanted to try Paula Deens. The staff on the third floor was rude. We asked to be moved due do the ac on top of us and they would not move us. The food was not the greatest and the so called famous peach cobbler tasted like can peaches. For 4 people it was over 125.00. Would not recommend to anyone.
Food an staff excellent an will b going to other Paula deens
We had a delicious lunch and Lorena took great care of us. The roasted chicken was very flavorful and the gooey cake was worth the calories.
Neat store. Not alot of merchandise.
Its so cramped and difficult to maneuver around people when its busy. Neat shop connected to the restaurant but definitely small inside so be prepared to bump shoulders!
After many years of loving Paula cooking with her sons and family on television. I was very disappointed in the food. SORRY YOU NEED TO GET BACK TO WORK.
First time visit- loved the bright colors and humorous sayings. Staff was friendly. Two floors to explore. Public bathroom available.
Not overly expenses. Courteous staff.
Mediocre food at best. Better chicken at KFC. Chicken & dumplings were missing the chicken. Mac & cheese was cold. We were really disappointed.
Honestly a big disappointment when we Arrived we waited forever on drinks and it wasn’t even busy, all the food, except for the sides were bland. Not something you expect from a chefs restaurant especially when your paying nearly 25$ a person when Popeyes has better fried chicken. also we were told they had ran out of a bunch of main items when they only have 5 main items to choose from . They were still seating people telling them they had what we were just told were out of. Waiter wasn’t the nicest or professional when I asked for another side of meatloaf (only tasty main entree)he laughed and came back and said basically sorry about your luck we ran out and aren’t making anymore, which was weird considering it’s a high end buffet style restaurant that only has a limited selection. Manager came by and even agreed the waiter was acting unprofessional after we asked for the checks it took another half hour to just get our checks and leave HIGHLY dissatisfied, do not waste your money at this establishment Your paying for a name and not the quality of food
The food was horrible, it was cold, the food had no taste, the catfish was salty, abd it was an all you can eat restaurant, when they knew you would not get through the first saving. It should close it would not be missed. What a disappointment!!!!!
Lunch Savannah 102 Congress streetGreens had a familiar but un-familiar taste couldnt pin point cooked with smoked turkey possible bad meat.the serving was very tiny approx one spoonfulPot roast dry but edible.Catfish was fresh the initial taste salty then it mellowed outCandie yams very sweet deliciousGreen beans melted in mouth like apple sauce textureCheddar garlic biscuits too wet douey good flavorReserve comment on peach cobbler Im partial to my wife it was okayMacaroni was awful looked like boxed Mac and cheese not baked we were scared to try itMy first impression is usually our lasting one.Service from the waitress and host was very courteous that was a plus. this is not our ideal of southern food.
We bought the non stick pots and pans sets from her store and was told they would not fade. I do not put any pots and pans in dish washer and they look horrible. I don’t even use them everyday. I tried calling warranty and they would not help me. I think they need to send me a new set and take these back.
Cute store. The staff was super! Stopped in 2x during our vacation and the staff remembered us. Super helpful staff
The food was amazing as always. Best fried chicken, get the mac and cheese, mashed potatoes and green beans!!!. Our server Mr. Johnson was very attentive and worked hard to keep our glasses full. I always come to Lady and Sons when were in Savannah and always look forward to our meal
Paula Deen’s was AMAZING. The waiters and waitresses were so nice, gave my family and me a warm welcome. The food tasted hot and fresh. Everyone was so sweet. Also, the food tasted heavenly, 10/10 recommend.
Excellent food! You wont leave hungry!
Super cute gift shop. We found a great wedding present for our friends here
Really enjoyed it. The wait was long but worth it
Cute Stuff + Cooking Supplies
Air conditioning and restrooms in downtown Savannah... What else do you need?
Great cookies and staff was nice and helpful.
The food was disgusting, the rice was greasy, the collard green was salty, the catfish was flat and the candies yams was so heavy with marshmallows. The waitress didn’t even address my concerns when I told her the the catfish was flat. The food was not worth it, go to another place don’t waste your time, money or energy. I am warning don’t eat here.
Yall need to go. Love Paula, her food and gear for your kitchen
1st time in the store and already buying Christmas decor. What a fun atmosphere to come into.
Posting this for Lady and Sons restaurant...the food was good but the wait staff was extremely unorganized and not friendly. We were told 20 minute wait when we walked in, and ended up waiting an hour and a half. They were seating same sized party guests out of order. Some were being seated in 20 minutes and others were being seated over an hour later. Some guests had checked in, waited for an hour and when they went up to the wait staff, they had improperly added them in the system so their wait time started over. Overall bad experience, we couldn’t appreciate the food because we were so flustered with the check in experience!!
Do not go to the restaurant. Food is bland and cold. Family style only, small portions and had to send back meatloaf it was so cold, when it came back still cold. Waitstaff didnt care. Again, do not eat their. Did I say how much lunch cost?
Best sales associates ever. Always friendly & upbeat. Found some treasures during this visit.
While I love Paula Deen, I was only moderately impressed by the restaurant. I hate saying that, really I do. I love the character of the place & while Im sure the staff get tired of so many tourists they seemed to do well under the pressure of a full-house and a half-hour wait while we were there. I do believe they were not the typical friendly southerner type folks that kill you with kindness, but again, being in such a touristy place & dealing with such a variety of folks can skew anyone.I was disappointed with the menu selection--Im unable to eat buffet (medical reasons) & often end up taking leftovers home to eat later, so I was unhappy that I couldnt choose southern mainstays from the menu. I was looking forward to a good dose of southern veggies like I grew up eating. They had good menu options, but for what I really wanted to eat-it was only available on the buffet. What I did eat- fried shrimp-was the, hands down BEST shrimp Ive had. Keeping in mind that I didnt grow up with locally fresh seafood, I found it to be really tasty-cooked perfectly. My husband chose the potpie which was not only good but presented beautifully with a lattice top of what I believe was puff pastry--not your standard southern topping but it was light, tender and really good. Hands down the BEST sweet tea we found on our 4 day visit & we KNOW sweet tea.The store was very geared toward the Yall theme which I expected. A good variety of items to choose from and they where certainly ringing up quite a few sales from the guests.
All kind as of items for cooking. I bought a couple of cookbooks that I am sure I will use often.
Nice country store hiwever you must visit her restaurant its sooo worth it. Great food and great prices.
What they had was great but it was a small selection.
Great big Texas sized kudos and hugs to Jan.Girl, you know exactly what we’re experiencing with the next generation. Keep being you and smiling big. It is comforting to us old timers who come back for the nostalgia! You infectious smile will keep us coming back!!!!
Not much stuff to look at
We are on the third floor. Fun. Very nice server. Good food. Delicious Butter cake as a complimentary dessert!
Service was excellent. Food was very tasty. The shop was fun while we waited for our table. The shop was pricey but had lots of fun things. We all left looking 10 months pregnant! I would go again.
Great selection of Paulas merchandise, cookbooks and clothing. Reasonable prices. While at her store go upstairs and eat at her Restaurant. You can order of menu or the Buffet. Great prices and very friendly wait staff. Worth the wait. Would go there again.
The web site said open so we drove an hour and a half out of our way to go and it was closed.😡 It should have been stated on the site it was closed because the manager didnt want to work.. love Paula but the store manager not so much..
Could have shopped there all day long! Loved it!
On vacation in beautiful Savannah. Great food at the adjoining restaurant, friendly wait staff and cute selection of items in the gift shop for those take home memories. Am enjoying Paulas recipes from hers and Bobbys cookbook duo. The sea salt and magnolia scented candles from her gift shop transport me back there every time theyre lit.
I always find some sort of treasure here. Good selection and very reasonable prices.
Not only is this a store for Paula Deen’s kitchen products and cook books, it is also a wonderful, cozy restaurant. The food is in proper proportions as to what is required for a meal. The restaurant does not cater to large meals, but to delicious meals in the right amounts. The staff are wonderful: courteous, friendly, professional and respectful. The food is absolutely delicious. The restaurant is in a downstairs corner building. The kitchen is in the basement and the store is on the second level, with some items also sold on the first. The Lady and Sons is a gem found about a quarter mile from the Savannah River. If you ever find yourselves in or around Savannah, please ensure that you take time to eat and Shop at Paula Deen’s The Lady and Sons Restaurant. You will be very glad that you did!
The food here was fantastic it was all you can eat, the food was just straight down-home southern cooking. I did not have one item that was bad tasting and the peach cobbler the best Ive ever had anywhere I recommend this to everyone to stop here in try their food. Not too pricey
A shop dedicated to anything Paula Deen. Really cool products with decent price tags. There is also a restaurant within the store which is pretty good too. However Sunday brunch is a buffet that you pay for. So if you want to order your own meal I suggest you pick a different day. The quality of the food was okay...Nothing too WOWing about it...But its not bad either. Sometimes the wait for this place can be ridiculous.
Im a huge Paula Seen fan and I loved her store! The restaurant that is attached is very good....you have a choice of ordering the buffet or ordering from the menu. The food is southern comfort foods, so very rich & heavy....so go hungry!!!!
A glorified Golden Corral; I tasted MREs better than this. I ate on the third floor which has one bathroom augmented by a pungent odor. The downstairs decor resembled a high school cafeteria while the upstairs decor reminded me of a street in Paris. I felt absolutely embarrassed to eat there.
Buffet was limited with choices...as in a salad bar and one buffet. Not worth $18, as well as a wait. The server was awesome though! The food I could have made at home or gone elsewhere for better quality.
Food is wonderful, the last 4 times I have been my check was wrong? Three times upstairs at the bar and once downstairs. Had to change check twice today. Ill go there with no hesitation again.
Really nice store with restaurant attached. Makes waiting for a table much better
I love visiting here every time I get ti Savannah. I love seeing new stuff each time
It was what I expected..
Fun themed useful products that fit Paula Dean to the tea (sweet tea that is)!
My husband and I just loved the food and food he tried that he never eats he sure eat hers! Deserts were fabulous. The buffet is the way to go. Also you cannot pass the gift shop up!
My neice got married on Tybee Island in mid August so there was a small group of us down there from Texas we wanted to give Paula and her sons a try, the food would have been pretty good but on this day the food was so salty that we couldn’t enjoy it. This coming from someone who has to season my food with salt. The chicken was fried just right but everything from the vegetables to the fried chicken was too salty I’m talking make your lips pucker salty!!! Very sad and disappointed.
Waiter was rude, took a long time to get our food and it was not good. Buffet was over priced and didnt look fresh. Dont waste your money here.
Bought the wife some goodies for her birthday!
Loved the family style service
Lots of fun products.
If youre a fan, theres a nice selection of souvenirs and a friendly staff right outside the entrance to the restaurant.
Her products fail after a couple of months and warranty wants you to pay more to ship it back to them what it is worth! Should have listen to all the bad reviews of her products. Cant believe she puts her name on it. Walmart quit selling her items do to all the returns and defective products. STAY AWAY! DO NOT BUY!
Nice services
Good food. Especially the chicken, fried okra, and the biscuits
We went to Paulas for our anniversary. We had the fried green tomatoes and they were wonderful as well as the shrimp and grits. Our server was very friendly. We will definitely go again!!
Small shop next to her restaurant with go between access as well when restaurant is open
The manager was so helpful and sweet. Store had lots of great cooking tools and cute tshirts
My second time to Savannah! This I had to go to eat at Paula Deens restaurant! So glad I did! Yummy!Amazing delicious everything! We did the buffet! After 2 trips I was so full I couldnt hardly eat my dessert which comes with the buffet!Everyone there was super friendly&Nice! Even kept the gift shop open so we could shop after we ate!Highly recommend! Will come back Yall!! Texan
Nice store with a variety of cooking utensils & cute knick knacks.
Always live coming to the store and restaurant. Would love to meet her
Best comfort food ever! The fried chicken and beef stew were out of this world.....the service was great too!
Always have to visit this store no matter where we are. I like all of her cook ware and kitchen gadgets, cook books and pots and pans.
Awesome tasting food. Great employees Big smiles and very kind.
Love the one on Tennessee! Then coming home we stop in Georgia . They both are great. Will be back.
Food was great. Lovely ambience and the whole staff was so cheery & professional.
Very good food I highly recommend
So cute! My daughter tried to take my butter magnet from me she liked it so much.
Great stuff
Great service, atmosphere, food. Buffet was ok.. menu food was great. Was hoping for a little better desserts.. maybe next time.
Very good food, very friendly and service was perfect. Jan and Holly in the Paula store were the best.
Just your fried food with lots of butter.
Not the biggest fan. The buffet food is very good but everything is _______ yall. Its only amusing for the first two items you see in the gift shop.
