This place is a gem in the city of Savannah.Today I woke up feeling extremely tired, and I turned my coffee pot on and promptly hopped in the shower. When I got out, what I saw could only be described as a coffee slasher movie. I had forgotten to put the coffee pot in after washing it the previous night! After spending 30 minutes cleaning, coffee-less and tired, Coffee Fox saved my morning. I had little time before work, and I stopped in, got a delicious sandwich, iced coffee, and kolache in minutes. (Which was was lucky, this place is extremely popular, as it should be!)The extremely nice staff were very polite and kind, and the atmosphere is always welcoming. Try the Red Fox, it’s a delicious bacon egg and cheese with a wonderful salsa. 15/10.
Cozy spot perfect for starting out a leisurely vacation day. We sampled a few sandwiches, beverages, and pastries. The cream cheese/Nutella kolache and the cheddar bites were the standouts. We even bought some extra kolache to take to friends in Orlando. The Cuban coffee was average, but to be fair we live in South Florida and are Cuban. The cold horchata was delicious and I want to try the latte version on our next visit. The staff is super friendly and patient.
Wonderful coffee and amazing Bakery items with an assortment of vegan options too! We had the vegan cookie dough brownie and it was to die for - you couldnt even tell it eas vegan!
The greed runs deep here, and the servers seem to be told to cultivate it further. I have been in savannah for about two months on business, and I have come here on average 5 days a week throughout that time. I normally get iced drinks. I do not like iced drinks with a ton of ice, as has become the norm for coffee houses in an attempt to give you much less product. As such, I ask for light ice so half my drink isnt water. THEY UPCHARGE FOR LIGHT ICE (and call it a Full Fill..the irony cannot be lost on whoever instated this practice). THEIR AUDACITY IS UNBELIEVABLE. If that was the only issue, it wouldnt be that big of a deal. BUT, Id say 85-90% of the iced drinks I purchased during my time here have been UNDER FILLED. They literally leave about a centimeter to an inch of open space in the drink cup (and NO, I am NOT talking about the space the lid adds). So, they charge extra if you dont want them to drown your drink in ice, and then they under fill the drinks themselves.Their drinks are great, as is the food, but the service is terrible along with the greedy upcharge practices. If my company (Enterprise Corporate) wasnt giving me a per diem I would literally never step foot in this place again. Unbelievable
Great coffee and friendly staff! I got the horchata iced with vegan milk, and I highly recommend it. This is a super cute coffee shop in gorgeous downtown Savannah and I would definitely stop by here again! Thanks to the staff for making my first impression of people here very positive.
Stopped in after several hours of walking around in Savannah. Tried the Horchata latte after reading some reviews and it was very good. Not overly sweet. Could have been a little colder though. My wife had iced tea and she said it was good as well.
I visit Savannah every year and this is always my 1st stop...smooth, delicious. I always leave wonderfully caffeinated😊 Highly recommend! P
Staff was very helpful when asking for suggestions between a couple items. They have vegan accommodations for most of their drinks and they also have a handful of vegan baked goods to eat as well. I chose the vegan cinnamon roll with an iced mocha latte with oat milk. They warmed the cinnamon roll which I was pleased about.COVID friendly by only letting one group of people in the store at a time to order. There is limited seating outside but it is shaded.
I love this coffee shop. The location is great on Broughton. Be warned that lines form quickly here. The wait is worth it though. I love the Mexican Mocha, chocolate and a little bit of spice.
For being in such a great area of downtown Savannah they didnt live up to the hype. The brista and cashier were not having a good day, the knockout coffee tasted a week old. I gave it 3 stars because the Thanksgiving kolache was really good and the egg and cheese was good also, just wish they had more experienced front brista and cashier.
I say this a lot - coffee is an experience. Its the atmosphere, the baristas, the food offered, the coffee. I felt Coffee Fox gave me all of it. The reason we chose this shop was for the espresso tonic. I am not a fan of milk drinks (lattes). I want to drink coffee but sometimes its fun to have something a little more. Bring on the coffee cola (my name for these types of drinks)! Espresso and some type of carbonation. No milk. This is the best drink ever - IMO :) the added orange peel adds a delightful citrus taste and aroma. But additionally, the baristas were enthusiastic and talkative which I always enjoy when about to start my morning coffee experience. I also love that they have gf/vegan goods. I dont need it but I do enjoy it a lot. I had the brownie which was sooooo good - not too sweet and of so perfect paired with coffee (hot, too!). My husband had their breakfast sandwich which was good too. We visited 3 times while in the area. Same great experience each time. I highly recommend going in, and while we no longer can say we are as young as the employees or many patrons we saw, we certainly felt welcome and treated very kindly by these great baristas. :)
Kolache. We had never heard of it but man oh man. It’s delicious!! We got them with an egg and cheese. Soooooo good! Try it!!
Great coffee and lady there fix my wife coffee on point. First time visit and coffee was right first time.
Fantastic coffee, got the Mexican hot chocolate latte. Delicious sandwiches, the Cuban and a vegetarian one. Wonderful service.
Love this place and its vibes. Life long Savannian. Be wary of the tourist and SCAD influx during the day as it can get crowded and wait times get a little lofty.
Horrible coffee. No customer service. Only stressed out employees who just dont care. Cold brew tastes like sour black tea. Food was excellent.
Disclaimer, I do travel the world and only leave five star reviews! I’ll leave the criticism to others! However, don’t think I take my five stars lightly, because I don’t! If I leave a five star review it’s because they are well deserving of it! Coffee Fox is in a fabulous location, a joy to sit in and enjoy a well crafted latte! We use alternative mills and they had an excellent range of barista grade milks! Makes us very happy! They have breads, muffins and pastries and a nice variety of vegan options!Come here and enjoy!!
Came here the morning after the 4th of July. The shop is nice, has a bit of space on the inside for indoor seating and some tables on the outside as well. The knockout cold brew I got was a bit on the sour side though, not sure if just me. Overall would give the place 4 - 4.5.
Super cute little coffee shop! The coffee is delicious and so are the pastries. The staff is also made up of some of the coolest people youll ever meet.
So good, super busy! We waited in line outside for a little bit before we could even get in the door, on a Saturday morning. Sunday was a little less busy, but still crowded! Not very many places to sit inside and a few small tables outside, so plan on taking things to go or waiting a little bit for a spot to open up. We ordered the gluten free cranberry orange muffins and oh my god. It was the best muffin I’ve ever eaten, and it’s gluten free! It was warm and moist and slightly doughy and sweet with some crunchy sugar on top.. I’m drooling thinking about it. Horchata latte was delicious, too. Will definitely visit again if we come back!
Nitro-Coffee is full of texture and taste.Friendly & competent bistro staff.A creative, well-designed, and fun space to savor caffeinated beverages.
We waited in a fairly long line on a Sunday morning but it was worth it. The kolaches and coffees were fabulous! Very cute little spot.
Rude staff. No hello or any acknowledgment. Stood at counter for five minutes as they made drinks and completely ignored me. Took my business to Maple Biscuit down the street and was more pleased with their service and products.
We stopped in for take away coffee and had an iced latte and a nitro cold brew. Both were delicious and we would definitely come again! The inside is really nice and chilled out and if we had had more time we would have sat in and taken advantage of some of the baked goods that looked great! Lots of vegan options too. They sell beans to have at home too.
This cute corner cafe has a good selection of coffee drinks and eatable treats. The espresso blend is delicious. The iced horchata latte was cinnamony and tasty. The quiche pie and the egg & cheese kolache were both very tasty and satisfying. The cafe is intimate, very comfortable and attractive. The space has fun, quirky decor, appropriately with lots of foxes. However, the stuffed fox near the entrance has to go!
This sibling of Foxy Loxy might be on the smaller side, but their Eye Opener (Guinness Draught + Espresso) is worth the stop. If youre looking for something lighter and sweeter, their horchata latte is always a win. Great food options too.For a small spot, Coffee Fox has a decent amount of seating. Its worth noting that, much like Foxy, youre never quite sure if therell be a seat. However, a little patience often yields positive results :)
Horchata is so good, bathrooms are clean (both ways💯) and service was fast
My friend and I were on a girls’ trip and this coffee shop was next to our AirBNB we were sharing. This was a great little shop! We had awesome service every day. I didn’t care for the guy who was our barista one morning. He was incredibly curt and abrupt. Other than that, excellent assortment of coffees. I had the Cubano. It was very good. Reminded me of what I had in Miami! My friend had the Horchata Latte. She liked hers too. Great experience!
Stopped in for an iced vanilla breve. They only have one drink with vanilla in it, and it wasnt something that I was interested in, so opted for plain and added some simple syrup. The coffee was good. The shop is very crowded and confined. If you have a problem with crowds or tight spaces like I do, this is probably not the spot for you.
Best latte I’ve ever had! Wish I thought to get the names of the baristas working this afternoon because the service was great too!
Get the egg and cheese Kolochee! So. Good. Great and friendly staff.
Construction around it right now is a bit of a pain but coffee is still great
Decent place, the service and coffee were good. We visited during the pandemic, so of course they couldnt allow many people inside. I did feel like they were a bit more uptight than other coffee places in the area. Not a knock on them, every place has their policies, I guess.
We went on a Saturday and despite it being so busy the service was fast and our cashier was super friendly. The Mexican mocha is absolutely delicious.
I got an excellent iced matcha here, it was very smooth and creamy, and not overly sweet. The staff was very nice too.
Excellent espresso drinks. The peanut butter cookies are to die for! Well come back (today)
Staff were super helpful in letting me know about the parking situation on Sundays (its free btw for street parking on Sunday). I got the Café Cubano and my wife got the Chai Latte, both were impeccable. We also got the chocolate and fig scone to eat, and it was so good! Strongly suggest going here for a quick bite or a coffee to energize your Savannah explorations.
One of my favorite coffee shops when I travel to savannah. Very covid- proper and you will feel safe ordering your coffee amidst the craziness elsewhere.Get the horchata latte, its wonderful.Thank you Coffee Fox!
Good coffee. Recommend breve latte but only 3 stars because the store down the street is a occupancy of 235 and this place got a occupancy of one group at a time.... Like really. Just up your game and make the dranks faster bros
Great coffee, scrumptious treats,.friendly staff and very conscientious about respecting people during the pandemic. They only allow one group /family in at a time to order & then they bring the drinks out to you quickly. Will go back again
Awesome and fast service! Delicious kolaches and coffee!
Delicous coffee. The matcha latte was perfect and the Mexican mocha with habanero was a unique delight.
Really friendly staff. The huevos rancheros quiche and the churro muffin were 🤌🏽 💯 The horchata drink was good but take note that it’s premixed so you can’t use an alternative milk with it. Due to covid the seating is quite limited but definitely worth a stop.
Super delicious. Our group ordered the affogato, an Ethiopian pour over, a cold brew with oat milk, a regular cold brew, a sausage and cheese kolache and a red fox. Soooo frickin good. The food was amazing and the establishment actually enforces masks which is a nice change of pace for Savannah. The staff was super friendly and really quick service even though they were swamped! Be prepared to wait outside.
Very friendly, Im from out of town and my hotel has less than mediocre coffee. Theres was VERY tasty.
So if you are looking for coffee that tastes like a campfire with a bit of grit in the bottom, don’t come here. I had the pour over and it was sooooo rich and sooooo smooth, low acidity level, no after taste, bold, a round, full flavor with a high caffeine content. Sooooo good! If you are in Savannah, visit the Coffee Fox and order the pour over. If you are not in Savannah, drive, fly or walk there. You will never regret it.
The Coffee Fox is cool looking. Theyre closed inside fso you can only order inside but thats it right now due to the virus. There was a lot of hype about this place, with a line that wrapped around the building just to place an order. But the coffee was OK. I dont plan to go back though. Neat branding though!
Coffee enthusiast would love it. My cappuccino was amazing. I got the churro muffin, i thought it was an interesting take! Surprisingly really good. The environment is awesome and the baristas were very personable. I’ve been here a couple times and I’ll always come back! The prices are very reasonable as well. Way better then starbucks!
Their cold brew and horchata latte are delicious!
Iced mocha was really quite bad, but their kolaches were really good! Maybe I just ordered the wrong thing 🤷🏼♀️
