Very tasty sandwich and the bagel itself was super good! I got the pimento pig and the cheese on it went really well with everything else. I got an everything bagel as the sandwich bread and the bagel tasted amazing! Chewy on the inside and the perfect amount of crispness on the outside. I went in the morning around 7:40 and there were already some people there. The lady who took my order was very nice and the aesthetic of the place was nice. There was also outdoor seating. Definitely going back here to eat just the bagel by itself, so good!

A great place to stop for bagels and coffee/tea! There was a line out the door when I arrived, and that was a good sign to me that the food was going to be great. I ordered a Thai tea with the Luigi bagel sandwich, and my husband ordered a plain bagel with jalapeño cream cheese. All of it was really great!

Picked up bagels two days in a row because of how delicious they were! One of the best bagels I’ve ever had! Highly recommend the pimento pig bagel. The burnt honey cream cheese is also great. Ordered ahead online and showed up 15 minutes too early, but they still were able to have the order ready 5 minutes earlier than my scheduled pick up time.

Ordered the Bon Mi on an everything bagel for myself and my husband and the 912 for my kids. We are blown away. Amazing flavors on well-toasted bagels. Will return probably once a week! Great spot.

Best bagel I’ve had so far in Savannah. Excellent texture and flavor on the cinnamon raisin, which isn’t even my favorite bagel (sesame seed for me). However they sold out of all other bagels so I went with the cinnamon raisin… it didn’t disappoint. The cream cheese was also delicious.They were completely sold out of bagels by 12:30pm on a Saturday, so get there early if you want to try it. They also sell sandwiches, but don’t have bread other than bagels (so if they are out of bagels, you can’t order a sandwich either). Service was quick, and there’s ample outdoor seating. Highly recommend!

Big Bon Bodega has an OUTSTANDING menu. Their bagel sandwiches are an absolutely amazing experience. Very fresh, and packed full of flavor. Staff is extremely friendly and talkative. Especially to tourists like ourselves. If youre in Savannah, stop by Big Bon Bodega. Try the Pomento Pig. Youll thank me later.

This may be the place for bagels & breakfast, but skip the pizza. Decent favor. However, most of the crust around the edge was burnt/black/inedible, almost non-existent sauce AND cheese. Ordered “The Red” & paid $2 extra for SIX small slices of banana peppers. Don’t waste your money!!!

I’m not even a bagel person but these bagels are delicious. I hope they add the jalapeños cheddar bagel to the permanent menu. It taste so good with the blt or pimento. I think the breakfast sausage on the pimento pig sandwich was really gross and just tasted like a cheap, frozen patty so the next time I substituted bacon and it was really good.

Deliciousness. Pure delight. Wasn’t expecting much to be honest but this is a quality bagel. It’s wood fired and it gives it a flavored charring that’s much better than when other replaces burn your bagel in a toaster. Their take on bagels is also unique as there is a heavy Korean influence. I stuck with a simple everything bagel (the 912 I think) but added a hash brown patty in it and I couldn’t have been more happy. The herb butter on the bagel mixed perfectly with the everything seasoning and the bagel itself was dense but not chewy. I’d eat this nearly every day if I could.

Wow! Relaxed feeling, clean and airy in an amazing historical building. I had the Spicy Mama-- a huge bagel sandwich filled with spicy pork bulgogi, kimchi cream cheese and peanut slaw. Filling and delicious for breakfast or brunch! The bakers, who are baking fresh bagels in the open oven as I type this, clearly know what they are doing and care about their product. My husband had the coffee, which he declares as good. I had a hot green tea, which, unsurprisingly, was selected for its beautiful aroma and delicate flavor. The massive cinnamon roll we ordered was amazing and disappeared too rapidly for a picture --this time.Regarding price, two adults can eat a delicious, homemade, satisfying breakfast, cinnamon roll (to share), and drinks for about the same as a diner breakfast. Staff is friendly with good food suggestions. They also do a pimento cheese bacon bagel, which will be next on my list!

It’s not the only place I eat brunch in Savannah, but it’s the only place I’m 100% of the time happy I did. Whether you go greasy with some hangover bacon egg and cheese or fresh with the bon mi twist, you’ll be happy you did it. Don’t sleep on the Thai Tea or the cookies if they have them. Sometimes there’s a line and the hours are weird, but I promise it’s worth it.

I love Big Bon and if anything wish they were open more days of the week ! You can taste the quality & care in their bagels - their pop up pizza events are a must too !

The food here is good. HOWEVER, both times I have eaten here it has taken well over 25 minutes to get the food....over 25 minutes waiting for a bagel. This place needs to get their kitchen in order is all Im saying. Thats entirely too long to wait for a bagel no matter how good it is.

The 912 sandwich was out of this world. We got it on the Everything bagel. Easily the best bagel we’ve ever had. We also got a vanilla latte. They have oat and almond milk! The oat milk latte was so good. Cute patio area as well. We loved it and would go again.

So glad I discovered this place on my short stay in Savannah. We ended up eating here both mornings we were in town. They have a beautiful patio and a model COVID safe ordering system. The orders came out quick. The bagels are crisp and chewy like a bagel should be. Can’t recommend this enough!

Both sandwiches were larger than expected. recommend taking your sandwiches to Forsyth Park to enjoy.

Best bagels, this is our go to breakfast spot. All of the sandwhiches are so good and their coffee and chia are perfect.

Big Bon Bodega is just a really awesome place. My family loves to go here on the weekend. I have tried three of their bagel sandwiches, the banh mi, the 912, and the pimento pig. All are very good options. They also have cinnamon rolls on saturdays that are bomb. The staff is super friendly and it’s a very pleasant place to sit outside and enjoy a yummy bagel with your pals.

Love this place! Bagels are amazing. Staff is very courteous and professional. Place is clean, masks enforced and open outdoor seating.

They never answer the phone to place an order. Wait time is always long. They shutdown online ordering1.5 hours before closing. I could drive to midtown deli on the Southside and back and get the same thing in the same amount of time. Love the food but they need to step up everything else.

If you like bagels this is the place to come, good selection and the bagels are made fresh.

One of the best bagel and pizza businesses in Savannah (& Georgia) I have experienced. The owner and team members all go out of their way to make sure to extend excellent service and food with a huge spoonful of kindness and humbleness. They arrive before the sun comes up so their customers can have a piece of bagel heaven. Try the Curry bagel...I know I cant wait to have one soon.

I LOVE THIS PLACE! The staff are super friendly, the food is great. Whats not to like? Its true that the prices arent dirt cheap, but its reasonable for what youre getting. Always fresh, made to order, and tastes incredible. Never had to wait more than a few minutes. There are plenty of picnic tables to sit socially distanced outside for the time being. The Spicy Mama sandwich is amazing.

AMAZING service, food, and cold brew! We’re visiting Savannah for the weekend and our eyes caught the available socially-distanced outdoor tables, so we inquired for more. We got the Spicy Mama, Turkey Melt, and cold brew with almond milk. Everything was packed with flavor, and the service was so helpful, kind, and prompt! Janie was especially kind and helpful in recommending other local places to try. We will definitely be returning before we leave Savannah! We’re hooked already; it’s a must try!

Any time we have overnight guests in Savannah we bring them to BBB for breakfast. Everything about this place is fabulous - the food, the staff, the building, and the outdoor seating. Dont pay any attention to the other negative reviews - if the color of a building affects how you rate the food and service then you are in desperate need of prayers and help! I have once again moved to my favorite cradle of mystical shops and fantastic food of Savannah, and to my joy this bagel place appeared in my absence, 3 blocks from my house! It became an instant favorite. The ART with vegan spread inspired me from the moment I picked it up, I have never smelled anything so divine from inside a bag and the taste was superior as well! Im coming back today because I have been looking forward to another all week.

I am not sure what another poster meant by makes sense the building is white. The building could be rainbow with glitter for all I care, the food is why you go there. The food and the staff are amazing and atmosphere is fantastic. It is in the up and coming Starland District, removed from the hustle and bustle of downtown (i.e. where the locals go, kind of place). Personal favorites are the overnight oats and the Pimento Pig (when I dont feel like being healthy). They have a great outdoor space so you can relax outside and social distance. Keep doing what you are doing, you are doing an incredible job!

Went for my first time this weekend and I really appreciated all that they were doing to prevent covid. Enforced social distancing, masks required while placing your order, hand sanitizer available.The lady at the counter who took my order was very pleasant and gave me great recommendations when I told her I had never been. Ultimately, I ordered a sandwich, Thai tea, and a half dozen bagels. I LOVED the curry bagel!

Love their Everything Bagel with lox.... get one every weekend. Love the ease of online ordering and quick pickup! Great and friendly staff!

Great place. I would second the other reviews about the quality of the bagels. If you are from or have lived in the Northeast and miss your quality bagels since moving down to Savannah, fear not for they are right here at Big Bon. I also have to specifically point out the cinnamon rolls they are fantastic. They are in the league of flour bakery out of Boston (aka James Beard level), you cant go wrong. Check this place out if you havent.

Awesome food and service

I discovered this place while working the polls at the Bull Street Library during early elections this week. Since I only had 30 minutes for my lunch break, I had to choose a place nearby and found Big Bon Bodega online. I scoped out the menu online and decided to try the Spicy Mama. IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT!!!! I didn’t have to wait long for them to prepare my order and I had enough time to enjoy it. It was perfect!! I loved the peanut slaw and the kimchi cream cheese was so good. And the bagel was toasted to perfection!!! I’m definitely coming back soon to get another one!!!

Big Bon Bodega is yet another Big Bon venture that is 5 stars worthy! The Bodega is only two weeks old and is a phenomenal establishment with a super bright future ahead of it! The bagels are delicious, the snack/ drink selection is wonderful and the staff is super friendly and accommodating! A great take on all things bagel! They really put a lot of detail into every aspect of the place down to the customer service! I will be back again with my family and friends!

Great food, atmosphere, and staff! Even if you go during peak breakfast/brunch hours the service is fast. You can tell the team left no detail behind when designing the space and the menu. Inviting, great lighting, and even a great place for a quick meeting during the work week. The Donna is my favorite!

I’m a SCAD student and I enjoy the convenience of eating a bagel between or before class but I really can not fathom the thought of these tiny bagels being SO over priced. They taste great but definitely not worth what they cost. :/

Manhattan has been my home for the past forty years and always on the look out for a truly good bagel when I travel. Finding Big Bon Bodega in Savannah showed me that I can get a great bagel outside of New York City. I had a 912 sandwich and a bagel with cream cheese on another morning and they were delicious! Both days the staff were friendly and helpful. The bodega is a beautiful, inviting space that has seating inside and outside so you can sit and watch the life in Savannah go by.

Thoroughly enjoy this beautiful space & friendly staff! You can tell a lot of thought and intentionality went in to creating a pleasant experience all around. LOVE LOVE LOVE The 912 on an everything bagel. The herb butter takes it to another level. I highly recommend you give it a try!!

Tried something new (which is hard to do when you have YOUR favorite places already picked out in Savannah). Big Bon thoroughly impressed my husband and I! I had an everything bagel with the lemon caper cream cheese and it had the most perfect flavor and texture! Thank goodness for quality bagels in the South!!!! Definitely a new favorite and we will be back next time we are in Savannah.

I already posted my feed back and kept it here for about one week, but didn’t get a response. I never intended to keep it up but hopefully to bring awareness to your business. I know it’s the cool thing now to wear see through shirts, shorts that expose your bottoms for all to see and it’s rad if your breast parts are exposed just like the very young cashier who helped us the day we were in. But to be honest I hope that my daughters don’t grow up to take on this position. I hope that adult business owners can help establish more modest dress code in their establishments that’s kind to all people not just some. I don’t think it’s a lot to ask to be able to go inside an establishment to enjoy with my family and not encounter any persons private parts exposed. And yes for those who don’t realize, your breast are private parts...I’m not old fashioned, I’m only in my thirties I’m not some oldie who grew up a different way but I’m a wife and a mother who wants better for my own children and if this is what they encounter EVERYWHERE they go then they willMost likely follow suit. And if someone doesn’t speak up then Goodness will be overcome. And so many people need to hear it’s ok to be GOOD!So many business owners are capitalizing on selling sex from our young people to draw crowds as part of the ambiance of their business, when they should be leading them in the way they should go. I’m not at all implying that’s what is happening in your establishment but it’s happening all through out our city and it’s not only sad but infuriating.

ABSOLUTE favorite place to stop for breakfast or a sandwhich! LOVE this place so much!

We drove in from Richmond Hill just to try this place, and it was well worth the drive. The space is clean, inviting, and pleasing to the eye. The staff is warm, friendly, and helpful. The food is to die for! Our party tried the kimchi bulgogi sandwich, the pimento sausage egg, and the lox and they were all just amazing. I tried their cold brew coffee and it was the first time I enjoyed cold brew coffee. Good, varied drink selection and a clean bathroom to boot! 10/10 will absolutely come again and recommend.

Thank goodness for great bagels! Wood Fired bagels with all the fixins. A great atmosphere, genuinely happy staff, and fantastic food for all diets. The Walnut Butter and Jam on a Yum Yum twist is my weakness!
