Did not even complete my very first meal from this place but i had to,had to leave a review. This lox smoked salmon platter is the best Ive ever had. It is so satiating. Prep time was very quick. Service was great. I will definitely be ordering again.

This is my new favorite place to eat! I go almost four times a week! The food is excellent. I love that everything is fresh. The muffins are TO DIE FOR! The staff is very friendly and the food comes out quickly! What more could you ask for?

I am not usually a bagel sandwich eater, but my wife suggested this place for breakfast while we were on vacation in Savannah, and I am so glad she did. The bagels were so tasty, every bite was more delicious than the last. We will definitely return when we are in town.

I called ahead to order the vegetarian beagle and I thought I would use the public transportation system to get there since I was visiting from out of state. Well the buss got me there an hour and a half late but when I showed up the staff was nice enough to make me a fresh sandwich at no extra charge! I was even pursuant about paying but they didnt accept. The sandwich was also very delicious I recommend it to any non meat eater visiting Savannah! Overall 10/10 highly recommend.

By far the best lox bagel I have had in awhile. Everything is 100% fresh and tasty. Bagel was on point. My girl got the combo sandwich with cracked peppermill turkey and loved the chocolate cookie and sandwich.And the eclair? This place nailed it. The filling was nice and fluffy and the chocolate glaze 10/10.Even ordering at the front, it all came out quickI usually order but I’m going to try to come in more.

I been going to this place for years and so sad to see that I will not come back in the future. Decided to take my new coworker to this place for lunch since she is from New York. First off, it was crowded but they had a decent amount of workers in the back so I was not worried about the wait. Well I should had been. We order our food around 12:15 and once we did not receive our order by 12: 45, I decided to ask how long we have until it was ready. The owner, and all the workers, looked at me confused when I asked about not only mine but my co-workers orders because the sticky notes that they use to manage orders were not up there for either of us! Instead of being sympathetic since our entire lunch break was used for just waiting on a order that would had never been completed if I didnt decide to go up there and ask; the owner decides to tell us that they had an overwhelming number of orders and only two grills (as if that was my problem). She ONLY SUGGESTED giving us our refund or making our order. I personally believed that she should have done both. We wasted our ENTIRE LUNCH break. We ended up waiting for our order to be completed since we were pressed for time and the nice girl who fixed our order was very sweet and apologized MORE than the owner. I suggest maybe not taking call in orders when you have rush of patrons at your business because I did notice that call in orders were getting filled quicker than the orders that were in person.

I went on a Tuesday and service was quick. The cashier was very friendly and willing to give recommendations. I ordered the Lox salmon bagel. It was absolutely delicious and filling enough for two people. There was plenty of parking.

Clean place. Open and wasnt crowded. Unfortunately my pet peeve is ordering a sweet bagel with sweet cream cheese and while eating it, tasting garlic and onion because the preparer DID NOT clean the knives!!! 😡Its a simple concept especially when you are NOT busy. I will not be back because of this.

Great bagels and service. Stopped in on our last day in Savannah, and these bagels were so good, we brought a dozen back home with us to SC .This will be our first stop next time we are in the area ( so we can go back multiple times) ! All the breakfast items the whole family ordered were great !

Coming here for decades, but lately its been going down. I ordered a to go midtown with coleslaw & sandwiche was not even toasted because it was on a grill with tall sandwiches that was twice as tall so it just melted the butter on mine. Also was given soda in a Small cup, & EVERYONE else had larger & taller cup. So, this was a very bad visit. Also, the coleslaw was not very good. Not sure I will go there again any time soon.

NYC instantly as soon as you walk in the door. I love the atmosphere, love the food, and the unlimited coffee choices when you dine in. If you havent tried them out, then you are definitely missing out.

Thebl Reuben is good. And is why they get 3 stars. Sauerkraut isnt too strong, a good amount of meat on the sandwich. Good start to a good lunch. I was 5 stars until the pasta salad.The pasta salad is advertised as 1/4 pound, which was alarming when I ordered it. I thought that was a lot, theres no way I could finish that. And i dont do leftovers. But alas, it was a reasonable amount.Its good. Found one hair and figures, ok, thats gotta be mine. No problem. Found another at the bottom, and I cant help but wonder how much I already ate. Little upsetting. But it happens.Also, picked up a diet and a regular coke, neither marked.3 stars.

5 stars for an amazing lox salmon with cream cheese on an everything bagel. This is definitely a sandwich shop— and they’re good at it! I’d stay away from the low-carb breakfast platter, its very bland and has no flavor. The bacon I figured was going to be freshly made but it was just re-heated sandwich bacon. 5 stars on freshly brewed coffee!

Ive been in GA for almost 6 years now and one of the things I miss about NY is the fresh bagels. In the 6 years I have been here I have been trying to find NY style fresh bagels. Idk how I hadnt been referred to Midtown before now, but Im so glad I found this place! The bagels are AMAZING! Their sandwiches are fresh and delicious! I recommend Midtown Deli if you love your NY style bagels and fresh sandwiches! Love love love!

I walked and waited at the counter for at least five minutes no one spoke to me at all they just kept doing what they were doing which was ignoring me. After that I just turned around and left out. Definitely won’t be back. Horrible customer service!

Dont go here for bagels very low amount and slow.I give real reviews I went here had very few bagels and 3 people working front could barely make a order for 1 person in front of me. There were not even a plain bagel.

Ive had two meals here and both were amazing, first time was a French dip, most recent (pictured) was the Roger That special, which was pastrami and swiss on rye, just delicious!! Next time Im trying their lox for sure. Employees are super friendly. Prices are a bit high, but once you try the food it makes sense.

The best bagels money can buy! These are by far the best bagels I have ever had. Whenever my family gets together we buy a big bag of bagels (pardon the alliteration) and the bag is completely empty in a few days. They offer a large selection of bagels to choose from. Just a tip: dont get the salt bagel if you know whats good for you.

I really just wanted a good breakfast sandwich that was near work.the sandwich was good and cost me exactly 4.82 according to my bank statement. The next day( very next day) I went to get the same sandwich and it cost me almost 7 dollars. This price change is unacceptable even online it says it should cost me only about 5 dollars yet somehow it doesnt. The only explanation they could give me was that maybe somebody charged me wrong. And if thats the case then they need to change it on the website as well.

Midtown Deli has delicious bagels and coffee for a good price. If theres a line, it moves fast, and I rarely have too wait too long for my order. If youre getting cream cheese, I recommend asking for a smaller portion on the side because they tend to be generous. I highly recommend this place!

Closest thing to a New Jersey or New York bagel that you can find in Savannah. Having tried many, I consider this the best bagel shop in the city. They also have a lot of great sandwiches. Go support this awesome place and get a coffee while youre at it.

The staff is friendly and efficient, and the food is great and well priced! The earlier you get there the better, as their bagels are so popular and theres a chance the kind you want may sell out. One of the best (maybe only?) places to get good lox spread in Savannah, I highly recommend this hidden gem!

I have heard about this place and finally decided to try it out. Glad I did. I loved the Midtown! Was definitely a great sandwich and loaded with meat. The meat was just right and moist with flavor. The bread was crisp and soft and the same time without being too hard! Im already eager to try some of their other sammies that caught my eye!

Midtown deli i have wanted to try for weeks and was greatly disappointed. It was over priced, bagels not toasted even though I requested toasted and you can get better coffee at a truck stop. I requested cream cheese and lox spread and got cream cheese with mounds of lox that tasted terrible that I end up feeding to a stray cat!!Dont waste your money on this place!

I just found this place a few weeks ago and I think it is fantastic! They have a great variety and its what you would expect of a true deli and bagel shop. The staff is very friendly and attentive. They are a little on the pricy side, but the quality is worth it. Its the only place around this neighborhood that I have found Nova or Lox and bagels done the proper way with cream cheese, capers, red onion and tomato piled high on two bagel halves.

We stopped here for breakfast on our way back home.Food was excellent. They dont try to reinvent the wheel, they just do the simple things really well. Service was pretty quick, staff was friendly.It was a no fuss, hole in the wall sort of deli. Delicious and delightful.

Love the fresh food and quick service. We had sandwiches that were amazing and took bagels home for the next day. My daughter (1.5 years) didnt have much to eat, but there were a nice selection of books and toys to play with.

Best bagels in Savannah! This place is a gem, never knew this bagel shop existed until recently! Love there breakfast! We never leave hungry and we bring some bagels home every time. The pizza bagel and the Boar’s head sandwiches are delicious! And cannolis are a great dessert to take home! Get here early or call ahead to reserve your favorite flavor bagels because sometimes they run out fast!

I’ll be the first to say that this place must have magical powers or something, what else would explain their sandwiches being so good!! The service is excellent and their bagels along with everything else they sell is fantastic. This is by far one of the best places in all of Savannah to eat and that includes the upscale restaurants too.

The sandwiches are always great! Ive been getting the Buffalo Sandwich. The Buffalo Sandwich includes turkey and provolone cheese with a cup of Buffalo sauce. If you love spicy foods, this is the item for you. If thats not for you, then their bagels are always baked to perfection. The smoked salmon is another great pick if youre looking for fish. A good place to try out once in a while.

Ive never had anything less than a 5-star experience. From bagels to cold sandwiches to hot sandwiches there are plenty of delicious choices. Their potato salad is very tasty as well. Visit this fine, locally-owned deli.

This place is the absolute closest you will get to authentic Brooklyn bagels down here. They are made the RIGHT way, boiled first. Of course, its all in the water, and Savannah water is not NY water, but they are really, really good! Their menu is excellent, lots of NY style selections. My favorite is the lox platter. Also of note, the whitefish salad is off the chain! They lost their supplier, so they havent been able to get the whole whitefish for a while, but when they do, its excellent. They make it by hand, just like what I grew up with, and its so good!

Bagels are made in-house, and so is their cream cheese. The everything bagel with veggie cream cheese is my favorite. They also have great sandwiches made with Boars Head lunch meats. I had a rueben there about a week ago that was super yummy. The decor looks a little tired, but that sort of makes it even more like an authentic NY deli. They are a locally-owned business, and my friends and I want to see them stay successful, so we meet up there whenever were in that part of town.

I placed an order on Uber Eats and one of my sandwiches did not come with my order. I called them and they sent someone out to me to deliver it. Sure, I wouldve preferred the sandwich to arrive with the rest of my food but I appreciate the effort to correct the error. Plus, it was a really good sandwich. Ive also been here in person before and have always enjoyed my meal.

The chicken salad is the best Ive ever had, and their potato salad is amazing too. Bagels are made fresh daily, so if you get there at the end of the business day, dont be surprised if your favorite kind is sold out. I get there early for everything bagel. I have been a patron of the deli for years now, and I always receive friendly service. Dont be surprised if theres a line. A line means the food is good!!Dont listen to the bad reviews here. They are based on customer service, and that varies wherever you go! The deli is hands down the best of savannah!

The feel and look of a NYC deli without the line out the door. Ordered and had my sandwich, try the Carnegie, within 5 minutes. In a Friday afternoon! Well worth navigating the crazy Abercorn and White Bluff traffic. Food is made fresh and basically right in front of you. No gimmicks here. Just good food that I remember having growing up in Buffalo.

I have lived in Savannah 1 1/2 years and just discovered midtown deli, wish I would have sooner! Got the craving for a sandwich and this definitely hit the spot! It used to be a lot better. There is nothing special about the sandwiches, you could literally make the same thing at home and itd probably be just as good. Service and coffee both sucked.

The closest thing to a Manhattan deli as youll find in the South. Bagels are spectacular, and all of the sandwiches and spreads are fresh and delicious. Definitely try to get there early, as part lunch theyll likely have sold out of the more popular bagels, like pumpernickel and egg.

Okay... I have written articles about bagels and even ranked the bagel joints in NYC for 5 years. I started eating these round loving objects of joy when I was 6 and now at age 71... so many bagels have crossed my lips. These bagels are good and going to get better as I gave the lovely owner from europe a few tips, The sandwiches and other baked goods are quite good... but what you dont want to miss is the Smoked Salmon, which is the best I have tasted in 5 years. Perfect blend of flavor and moist and butteryand unforgettable...REALLY! I have smoked salmon shipped to me from 3 differentsmokehouses, and this is as good (maybe better) than theirs, whether cold-smokedor hot-smoked. Nice bright dining area and lots of happy people. Go and enjoy.
