Love this place! It’s so much nicer, cleaner, and easy to shop since the remodel! I highly recommend it to anybody with kids, or who knows kids because you’re sure to find something for everyone! You can find clothing, shoes, toys, all sorts of baby gear, maternity clothing, and more!

I live 45 minutes away and make the drive to shop here. They are always so friendly and I love the extra things they do for moms. I stopped shopping here a few years ago because the previous owners were not so friendly. I’m so glad I came back with the new owners. They are great! I have 6 children so buying here saves me money. I also consign here and I always have a credit to use on my account, I never take the money because I’m always needing something. Haha! They have nice stuff too, and plenty of it.

Best experience I’ve ever had. Took my wife to go shop there and the owner is absolutely so kind and helpful. We were guided to specific needs we needed to have for our 6th month old boy. This business is handled so professionally and we will be going there more to get other necessities for our child. Absolutely recommend this place to anyone!

Bought some nice clothes for the kids with a very reasonable price. Clothes are sorted by age/ gender... making it easy to search for what you’re looking for. Will return again.

Be careful purchasing from this store. They sold my wife and I an 11 year old baby swing which stopped working soon after purchase. Instead of a refund or exchange, they only offered a 20% discount on a different item as compensation, and when we inquired on how to use said discount, we received no answer after two subsequent emails. I recommend visiting Once Upon a Child on Bee Ridge instead, as they have a much larger inventory, a more organized store, and they give you money for your items on the spot. Edit to respond to owner: If you truly wanted a chance to earn my business, you would have refunded us when my wife went in to speak to you instead of threatening to kick her out because this happened so long ago and you cant expect the items I sell to work forever.

I always find lots of treasures at Pitter Patter, and its always a pleasurable shopping experience! The prices are so reasonable that I often have to keep myself from over-shopping. They even have fun events with prizes for kiddos and parents from time to time.

They are shady who sell your things and pocket your money not giving it back to you. Pitter Patter was closed during covid and reopened without letting the clients who were selling items there that they were reopening. So I randomly noticed they had an open sign up and walked in there asking for the money they owed me for all the items. They refused they money they owed me saying that I had inactivity for months. I very well can not have any activity if they are closed. Furthermore they never notified me that they were reopening for random times during random days as their posted schedule is not accurate for the hours they carry. They are absolute crooks and highly recommend nobody gives them any of your items as they try and keep the profits of your labor.

The staff werent wearing masks, which is selfish and irresponsible since people bring their children there. They also couldnt help me when I asked about age appropriate toys.

This is a great little consignment store. Theres not a bunch of consignment stores around this area. This place always has a ton of everything and for great prices. Great place to go for strollers if theyre not snagged too quickly. Things dont seem to last long here so you got to move quick.

I heard about this shop from my parents who are Sarasota locals, I’m currently pregnant and expecting my first child and I was looking for deals on little girls clothing. The clerk was very kind and engaging. She informed us that her and her fiancé were the new owners and this was their first day opening the store. We got some great deals and had a pleasant experience. I will defined be back when we are in town again!

I recently started consigning my little girls clothes here. I brought more in today and had money on my account! I shopped and found 5 new dresses for my little one. They were different from what I usually see and were all under $10. They have a cute rack of little diva designer items too! Friendly staff, well organized, affordable! Cant wait to get back! Store went from good to great thanks to major renovation and new owners. New flooring, fresh paint, removal of drop down ceiling and a new layout have really opened up the space and transformed it into a consignment store that is enjoyable to shop.

Ive been a shopper at Pitter Patter for 10+ years and now consigning too. I have always loved the shop and the employees. It always smells nice and they get the nicest stuff in and its always clean. I love love love shopping here and of course, so do my kids.

Best store in Sarasota for all kinds of childrens clothes, furniture and toys. They even have a maternity section. I have been shopping here for 18 years! Started consigning about 10 years ago. The store always has new stuff and priced much lower than other stores. Thanks to Pitter Patter and their wonderful staff for always being so nice and knowledgeable over the years.

I have been shopping at pitter patter for years. One of the things I love about them is that they are so picky. As a result they always have the best quality clothes and toys. They seem so new that Ive even given them as gifts. They always have great specials and they always ask what youre looking for. If they dont have it they keep an eye out for it. The prices are so good I can can indulge in buying things I would not want to spend full price on at a regular store. Thanks to the ladies who work there for always being so helpful and nice.

Lots of items. Nice childrens consignment store. Found what I was looking for.

I come in whenever I have the time to do so, which is sometimes very close to the time that they close. I once came in about 2 minutes before closing with things to consign, which I really felt bad about since they normal only take consignments until an hour before closing, but i had no choice since that was my only time to go. Also there were already a bunch of people in the store shopping. But the staff was still so nice to me and patient with the many other customers. One of the girls took her time looking through my things and actually took the time to explain why they couldnt take some items, rather then just giving them back to me without a word. Over all my experiences have been great here, especially since every time I seem to be in a huge rush.

I LOVE THIS PLACE!!! They have the best clean toys for a resonable price! If I could, I would go to this store everyday! I can not recommend it enough!

I think its a great childrens consignment shop! They always have unique (and nice!) stuff that you dont usually see in a consignment shop. I always enjoy travelling the distance to see what they have!

Very rude, not helpful or welcoming AT ALL!! I have tried going MULTIPLE times,over the years, always hoping perhaps it was a fluke they were so flat out rude. But, I am done trying! They really do stink! I miss Snappy Turtle! What wonderful staff they had!

Absolutely terrible. my family went in to sell some of our old children items and the associate Devie was very rude. she would not give any clear answers to the questions I had about my own items, would not even tell me what theyre going to sell for! I read a few other reviews that had the same experience as a seller and I did not pay as much attention to them as I shouldve, truly horrible. they only give you 50% and charge you a fee to give them your own items. Devie even took to the measure of raising her voice at me when I expressed my concerns about her contact. anyone wanting to sell, go on eBay or anything else, trust me please.

Extremely over priced. They charge $5.00 less than Target or Walmart for items like swings and bouncers. $10.00 for used Lego. Its ridiculous!!!! I asked staff about things to do in the area for kids and she had no info to give, but she was nice. I would rather have rude and cheaper items.

If you have items in very, like new condition take it here, beware they are picky. Its a 50/50 split and you leave it there hoping it sells. If what you have is not great but not trash, take it to the one in Bradenton by Desoto mall (the one that looks like a house, painted red, theyll take almost anything and pay cash, youll probably get a little less there since the prices are cheaper, but it took me 40 min. to drive from this place that wouldnt take everything to the one by the mall that would, so it would have been worth it for me to lose a few bucks.

A complete lack of customer service and blatantly rude staff. They took it upon themselves to insult a young lady because she brought clothes in a paper bag. She explained that she washed the clothes prior to bringing them in and the response she received was well, obviously not.
