I went in before Christmas and spent $143.42 in the store and I had a conversation with the owner which happened to be a lady I new growing up and she new my family. I purchased a sweater for a family friend which happened to be half off that day. When the family friend went to exchange the item the owner which I told the family friend was the owner was super nice there shouldn’t be a problem as to exchange the item for something else she might want. The owner right away to the family friend seemed very irritated and said with out a receipt she would not be able to exchange the item. I called and talked to the owner and she remembered me and I told her I had got it half off the day I came in and she remembered me but was very hesitant to still exchange. I told her that I don’t remember where I put the receipt that the item was to big and she would simply exchange. My husband was listening and was voicing his frustration that we had been in and we have talked and she new who I was. He wasn’t very nice and I asked him to be quiet. She then had a out to say I was gonna work with u but not with him talking to me like that. That she was a small business owner and that she needed a receipt. Which this item had the tags on never had been worn and she remembered me. She gave the phone back to the friend and told her u bring the receipt back and I will exchange the item but my husband and I weren’t not allowed back in the store. Which I’m ok with, but that is not how u treat customers. I will return the item of clothing without a receipt it’s not trying to get over on anyone when it was supposed to be a present from a nice store and not ask for anything back I want nothing to do with a store that will not work with a customer and someone that they new since they were a small child. The friend had moved here from out of town and I was seriously so embarrassed that I had said the owner was nice when she treated me and the friend like she didn’t need our business!
