This is a French style bakery, and a lot of the items you cant find in a normal store. Very sweet, very rich food. A little small on the positions, but well worth the experience.

Love the pink colorful atmosphere. With flowers accent on the table. Makes you feel like youve stepped in a French cafe. Gelato, macaroons, & French baked goods. Try the Napoleon perfect pair with coffee. Always fun experience to try different culture cuisine.

Wow. I really only knew what the local grocery store “macaron” tasted like. I am so happy my daughter wanted us to try and purchase some macarons from this store in Sarasota. If the person behind the counter hadn’t given us a sample, I wouldn’t be writing this review. The sample was AMAZING! We are hooked. I can’t wait to purchase again. You won’t be disappointed! Delicious pastry and great coffee.

I was really excited to try 6 different flavors they all sounded so good. All but the lemon was basically flavorless. Such a disappointment!

Every night during our weeklong visit, we stopped for a few macarons for dessert. Every flavor was wonderful and the macarons were fresh. They could use a few seasoned clerks as we waited over 5 minutes with only 3 people in the store, but it was worth the wait.

Really special place. The macroons are all gluten free and amazing! Our family tried: birthday cake, bubble gum, belgian chocolate, praline and coffee. All were amazing. Even the bubble gum was totally edible though obviously meant for kids. The praline and coffee were sweetwithout being gross and just perfect. Thank god we dont live anywhere near this place!

Le Macaron was amazing! The macarons were soft and chewy. They had a great selection of macarons and chocolates. The staff was very friendly and the store was bright and clean. Definitely recommend going, you wont be disappointed!

There was thin transparent plastic mixed into their violet gelato (which was otherwise delicious). I chewed it for a while before realizing it wasnt just a hard piece of chocolate. Then I fished the pieces out of my mouth and just left. There are two gelato places across the street (west quadrant).

I first came here years ago and the macarons were delicious. The three I got today barely had any flavor and did not have the right consistency. Maybe they were sitting too long in a fridge, I’m not sure. I decided the calories weren’t worth it to eat the last two I had bought and threw them away.

The macarons are amazing, Ive always wanted to try them, and they exceeded my expectations.

Simply terrible! The macarons didnt even look nice in the case, which should have tipped us off. All cookies were either cracked or had a very bumpy surface. Cracks and bumps on the macaron surface do not appear in successful batches of macarons. We tried them anyway and it was a total waste of $15.00 for 6 lousy cookies! There was a miniscule amount of filling, not even enough to taste it or determine its texture. The cookies seemed undercooked and lacked any flavor. We tried lemon, red velvet, coffee, vanilla, Halloween, and coconut flavored and each was worse than the last. This is 100% a tourist trap and worth skipping!

Elegant desserts, many French. I had a double espresso here and have enjoyed French macaroons from this store. More delicate than American macaroons. More flavor options like raspberry, mocha, many more. Great as a unique gift. They also offer sorbet.

This place is phenomenal. My daughters say this is a must every time we come here!

Great cafe for coffee, tea and treats of all kinds! Very relaxing atmosphere, you can enjoy your purchase inside or outside. We love the St. Armands Circle shops and restaurants, the area is wonderful!

Best macarons I have ever had.

Very cool place to see. The pastries look so decorative you don’t want to eat them. The prices were a little steep for my taste so I passed. There’s street side parking that you have to pay for. Handicap parking could be tricky. The shop is wheelchair accessible but can get a little tight inside.

They have moved! No longer at the corner at 382, walk west to 362. Lost its charm with new staff, though. Young man was gruff and unhelpful. We still love the macarons though!

Without a doubt this was our favorite and most memorable stop in St. Armands circle. Harrison is incredibly attentive and engaging. After a couple minutes speaking with him you can tell this is his passion and he will make it yours as well. The macarons speak for themselves but Harrison is an incredible ambassador if youve never had one. This will forever be our first and last stop every time we visit!

OMG, well worth the 20 mile bike ride from the north side of AMI--great macaroons and decent coffee. Great place to sit outside and watch people do people things, and occasionally their dog.

Good sweets and more than kind staff

I have never had a bad experience at this store. The staff is always kind and accommodating. The macarons are fantastic and the coffee is delicious. Temhey always have ice cold bottled water available too. The first time I came in, I was having a reaction to a medication I was taking and was over heated. The staff were so quick to get me water and have me sit down. It was very touching. Since that incident Ive always made it a point to stop in and buy something on my frequent trips to the circle.

The macaroons are absolutely delicious. My wife and I love this place. While it is a little pricey, they are by far the best macaroons I have ever had. Mortons market was my go to for macaroons until I found this place!

While the ice cream is very good. My cousin found a hair in hers, hey it happens. But to watch the counter girl examine and pick hair put of the other ice cream in the case was disgusting. Staff didnt seem bothered by it

I had three different macarons, unfortunately two out of three tasted like refrigerator, you know that flavor food gets when it sits in fridge uncovered. They did have great texture though.

Best little piece of heaven ever. I am addicted. The Macarons are devilishly delicious. Fresh and very flavorful. I had the walnut and vanilla. They were both outstanding. I will be back.

Ok exclaimer: I’m a certified freak when it comes to almond flour macaroons. I am a fan of flavors like rose and lavender. This place had around 10/15 different flavors and I got a six pack and they lasted about 5 minutes. SO good. I highly recommend the strawberry key lime pie and the mint chocolate. The catch is it’s $15 for 6. I’ve had them abroad and they are cheaper but you for sure get an amazing snack for what you pay. 10/10 Would go again!

Problem: I love the coffee macarons but my local store in Sarasota on Bee Ridge has been using hazelnut filling instead of the original coffee cream filling. So I purchased from the St Armands Circle store where I knew that the filling was correct. Someone picked them up for me and yet again, disappointingly, hazelnut filling. I could cry its not the same taste. I will have to give up purchasing.
