After a nightmare of an experience in dealing with Arcadia Chevy Buick, for a simple gap insurance issue, I finally found someone at Plattner Auto Group that could help. I spoke with Amy Rodgers and explained my circumstance to her. Amy was incredibly understanding and helpful. I gave her my information and was given a call back in less than 15 minutes, with not only an apology, but a final result. I spent a month getting the run around at Arcadia Chevy and yet had an immediate result in fifteen minutes from Amy Rodgers. Please, please do your best Plattner to find and keep employees with Amys qualities and character. Oh, and she clearly deserves a sizable raise and/or promotion.Thank you Amy Rodgers...keep up the great work

I recently had my car in for service. The woman I spoke to was very accommodating. However, they put me back on the road after having my vehicle for 2 weeks, and did not fix the problem I was having. I was driving back to Ohio, and 5 hours in, my car overheated. I had a cracked water pump. They have not responded to messages or emails. They also charged me for for service that was covered under warranty. I will never be returning and will let my family know that do live down there never to go there for service or a vehicle.

If you are buying from out of state avoid Labelle Ford. I own my business bought the truck 11/14/2020 it is now 4/27/21 and I still have no title. I have contacted them multiple times and just this week finally found out they need an original copy of inspection in my home state. They didnt know this until I called to complain for the third time of no title. I cant even get tags!! I know COVID slowed things down, but this would have been completed by anyone with basic out of state vehicle sales competency months ago. I wont even go into the price change after we had a signed out the door cost agreement. The excuse on that one was we didnt know your county tax would be higher than what we estimated.I have contacted Plattner group again with no response my new truck is drove sparingly do to expired and no way to get tags without a title.

The manager Bert I believe Herron called and was speaking with my fiance about an individual trying to get a car out of her name after she had helped her get her inital car.The way he spoke and the treated my fiance was absolutely unacceptable of a company, especially as the manager. Learn to run your business and how not to demean someone who isnt even your customer.Bert was condescending, arrogant, and pompous and that is no way anyone should be treated especially when dealing with a delicate matter as we were not even the customer in this situation.

Took my Wifes 2013 Explorer in to Chiefland Ford to get checked out because it was bucking and shuddering under acceleration. We left the car there and went to Walmart to kill some time. Around a hour and a half Later we came back and the service manager told us they couldnt get to it yet. We said fine and told him we would leave it with them and drove about 20 minutes home. As soon as we got in the house my phone rang and it was the service manager. He advised me they would need one more hour labor added to make it 2 hours at $139.00 X 2. I told him to go ahead. A couple hours later I get a call and it was the service guy. He told me that my transmission torque converter was bad and gave me a couple of unsettling options. One option was to get a new converter and flush the valve body for an outrageous amount of money. The other was to put a new transmission in it for somewhere around $6,000.00. I told him we would come and get it. Upon arrival he gave us a bill for $308.00. Included in the bill was $20 some bucks for shop supplies which they finally took off. No shop supplies are needed to hook up a scanner. The next day I took the car to Larrys Transmission in Williston and he told me to drain and fill the transmission with new oil. 5 quarts of new oil and 40 bucks walla, the problem is gone. Do not, I repeat do not go to Chief land ford. You will be sorry because they are nothing but incompetent thieves. 2 hours labor for a 30 minute scan. I wouldnt take a kids bike there for air in the tires. These folks are nothing but crooks and will screw you over in a heartbeat...I would rather rate them a zero but it wont let me. Run as fast as you can from these people...I see your reply. If you want to make it better you have my number..

If I could make zero stars, I would. Arcadia Chevrolet & Buick is an absolute mess! No one had any idea on where the vehicle that was called about last night was. Finally, it was found. We start the process. Sales guy brings us back the price and is going over everything and they have an additional cost, of $3k under accessories for a protection plan for appearance for 3 years. Paint, stains, interior, exterior. Now, the vehicle we are looking to purchase already has scratches and marks on it, major paint splatters in bed. If this protection plan covers that and we are FORCED to purchase it - shouldn’t they have fixed that??! Did I forget to mention that it supposedly is a fixed item, can’t remove it, even if we don’t want it, from a third party vendor? Horrible sales technique. This issue is being escalated to the State Attorney’s office. Doug Plattner, with Plattner Automotive Group, out of Sarasota, Florida, horrible practices!!!

Labelle Ford misrepresented the price of my Ford Edge. Internet price was $8499. When the deal was presented, they added $2400 to the price for shop inspection and reconditioning . Add to that the $844.00 dealer fee. I bought it because I wanted the vehicle but will never return there and will warn everyone I talk to that they are dishonest.

I went and looked at Used Kia Soul at Plattner’s Arcadia. The car was beautiful so we sat to talk numbers. First thing the car was listed for $5000 once we sat for numbers the price rose to $6000. I told salesman I’m not happy with the price increase. I told him that’s a deal breaker so he knew I was mad. He said let me talk to my sales manager and see what he can do. I said okay, the salesman came back with a sales order for the following:Car price $6000Add on accessories $2999Tags and title $1143Tax $420Total price just a tad less then $11000For a car listed online for $5000.I drove the car and didn’t see any dealer add on’sHe said dealer add on’s were nitrogen filled tiresI got up and walked out. I will never step foot into any Plattners affiliated dealership ever again!!!

We traded in our Jeep Cherokee on a 2015 Chevy Tahoe at the Venice location. Their service and effort with getting us into this vehicle, was amazing. Adi, the salesman there was very helpful and the Manager, Tony, made us feel very at home. We left the lot very happy customers and with the vehicle we have always wanted.

I would not recommend buying a vehicle from this place again. Its been a month since I purchased a vehicle from william at the punta gorda branch. Ive had to go back and bring him paperwork that he didnt take care of when I purchased the vehicle. Now I cannot even get a license plate from the dmv because the paperwork is not complete they told me. I would not reccomend buying a vehicle from william. I talked to his manager and he told me there has been many complaints about william.

I drove 316 miles round trip from Orlando to their dump of a Cadillac dealership in Belle Glade FL-only for them to attempt to totally screw me on the purchase of a preowned 2016 Cadillac. The price jumped $6,000 from online to in person and the car had undisclosed damage all over it.Ill NEVER go back!

Found two trucks on their website with good prices. I called the dealership to get more information about them. The salesman told me the first, a New Chevy Colorado crew cab was listed as new incorrectly on their website. It was actually a used truck. He told me he had previously brought this issue to his sales managers attention without any result. The second truck, a New Chevy Silverado crew cab was listed for $23,000. The salesman told me the vehicle had been sold weeks prior, but remained listed on their website. He then tried to bait and switch me to the same model with a $4,000 higher price. After this experience I researched The Plattner Group and see this is how they operate. False ads, fake prices, and excuses. Buyer beware!

I am not a customer. The company I work for provided service to Plattner at many of their locations and they simply do not pay their bills. It is not that big a deal, we will just send them to a third party collection agency. Some of our clients will be taking Plattner to court. I am just hoping with these reviews someone wanting to do business with them will see this and halt.

Beware and avoid if you value your credit history. Lost paperwork, vehicle turned in for new lease. New lease paperwork lost. Old lease turned in, never paid off resulting is a hit to my credit report. Plattner will blame the consumer vs. taking ownership of their screw up and any issue there after. Owner is a jerk. I would avoid this dealership, they are every cliche of an auto dealership and why not use patron them. Now they blame prior employees of the mess up and do not honor commitments. They do not value note take care of the elderly.

This company is a scam. They leave their own 5 star reviews and make promises they cant keep. You live and learn, unfortunately I have learned the hard way. I went through Cheifland ford to try and resolve an issue and they never gave me the money they owed me. Plattner does business under different names of other car dealers to disguise their bad business practices. If they tell you theyre going to do something, get it in writing.

My company has worked with Plattner for close to 4 years. Doug is a very hands on dealer. The company as a whole pays like clock work. I have read every review on here and do not believe they are correct. In the last 4 years Plattner has never missed a payment. As a vendor Doug Plattner looks for you to bring ideas to better the business and help him sell more cars. This is something all companies should do more of. Glad to do business with Plattner.

I never do this but I just had to beg for my 3RD SET(!!!!) of 30 day tags after talking to MULTIPLE people that work here because nobody seems to know what is going on. Very unorganized and unprofessional, nobody returns my calls or can offer help after I purchased a car in July and still have 30 day tags on the vehicle. Stay away!

Im sorry that those who were done wrong by previous owners/management never got a chance to meet the new crew.Kevin Keough,Jeff Wilkes and Dorothy made me feel like I was family from the moment I walked in the door.They all went above and beyond to find me my perfect vehicle.I had been to 3 dealerships and test drove 2 vehicles but the salesmen made me feel pressured to buy that car.I walked away and was driving around and seen Plattner Auto. Traded in my 2008 Jeep almost two months ago (11/8/17) and they have still not paid off my Jeep loan. They have been giving me the run around. I finally talked to Michelle on 12/19/17 and she told me the payment had been sent overnight to my bank. I waited until after Christmas to call and check with my bank and still have not received it (12/27/17). I just called them again and Michelle says the check is still there waiting for the manager for approve the payment. ARE YOU SERIOUS?? I am done. As of today I am taking legal action.

My mother in law has purchased several trucks in the past at your place and I called and spoke to Albert and asked what kind of deals do you have to offer and he mention that we had several units that were tag and how much of a savings when we go t there he showed us the new models and also a few of the used models and showed me the savings on both and I explained it to Barbara and she wanted new but with the savings we end up taking a truck that was a used General Motor company vehicle . I just bought 2 cars from Doug Plattner! What a great experience from beginning to end. Doug personally took care of me and he owns dealerships all across the state! He made sure I was happy! Doug had the cars that I wanted shipped to the nearest dealership to me at no charge and then let me drive these two cars for 3-4 days to make sure they were the right fit. The whole process was hassle free and I have never been treated this well at a car dealership. The prices of Plattners cars are the lowest as they can be and beat other dealerships by thousands. I am a Plattner customer for life!

Bought from Arcadia dealer and this is supposed to reimburse me for something they messed up on and said I have to deal with corporate which is here and when I call they tell me there is nobody for me to talk to and that nobody can help me and will not reimburse me for their mistake of taking over 5 months to get a car registered and Messi g up the paperwork on their end worst deal you can do business with do not buy from them save your money and get from a name brand deal who won’t add extra fees to the car for no reason STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!

The only good thing about Plattner is the employees. I worked for this guy for over a year and never in my 15 years have I been treated so badly. Everything the above this guy has stated is probably 100% accurate because it is almost exactly what happened to me. All except I had a written pay plan. Plattner himself is a bad person and lives in his own little world. He will rip off his employees and vendors in a heartbeat. He doesnt owe me a penny because I found out quick not to trust him and protected myself but I sure feel for the people he has screwed along the way.

I wish i would have read all of the reviews prior to my experience today. I am blown away by the reviews Ive read on not only their main corporate page Plattner Automotive Group, but also for each dealership as well as multiple online forums. There is a constant common theme in all the reviews...stay far away from this company. The experience i had today was one of the oddest and worst car shopping experiences Ive ever had. I decided to research much of what they told me at the dealership today and found that they were blatantly lying to me. Repeatedly. Im still in shock over the complete and blatant lack of integrity. Speechless.

Please do not work for this company. You will be told you will be paid one amount. Then you will actually be paid far less. The owner does not care and has lost about a dozen employees, including upper management. There are a number of HIGHLY unethical practices going on in this business as well. Do not buy or trade a car here. Do not ever work here. You will be lied to and treated very poorly.

BUYERS BEWARE!!! Labelle Plattner Dodge AKA Doug Plattner, Plattner Automotive Group is at it again. On April 14th I traded in my Jeep and bought a 2018 Dodge Ram. They got a 10 day payoff. 25 days later the bank is calling me asking for payment. I explained to them that I traded it in and that Dodge should have paid it off... they told me I am responsible for the debt and I am still legally responsible for the Jeep. Dodge has already sold my jeep. Not sure how they can sell it with a lien still on the vehicle. I call up to Dodge and the guy is very short and rude, he tells me to call corporate. I call corporate and Brandy tells me that I would have to speak with Jen, but she is not in so I left a message...Still no call back so I call this morning. Brandy answers again, this time telling me that there is NO one in that department that can help me because they are in transition. So I say you mean there is No one that can help me? She tells me no, that they have no one taking care of that right now. So I say you mean they are NOT paying off any loans at this time? She said CORRECT. So Now my jeep payment will have to be paid by me so its not 30 days late and on my credit, while at the same time my new truck payment will be due the same week....WHILE someone is out driving my jeep that I am still responsible for. I called DMV, they already have Labelle Dodge under their radar, and are being investigated. People are contacting me by the handfuls daily telling me they are experiencing the same problems or have known a family member or friend that has went thru it. Please google Doug Plattner or Plattner Automotive group... There are tons of complaints about being ripped off. They need to be stopped. Day 31 and still no call back from corporate.

If you see good reviews is only because there’re fake and is due to the fact that Doug Plattner is trying to conceal the horrible unlawful practices his been inflicting onto both customers and employees for years. (We’re is the FBI, BANKING COMMISSION AND STATE) his been getting away with screwing innocent people and the evidence is everywhere. He doesn’t send pay off’s inturn ruining customers credit, He cheats customers by concealing added fees on finance contracts unbeknownst to the customers. His a person whom has been raised with no need for anything...overly privileged with no respect for anyone else especially the working class in this case his staff, he ditches and hides. If I could give this business no stars, I would. I’m writing this to hopefully help out someone who chooses to buy from this automotive group as a whole. I bought a car from Ocala Volvo Subaru with Karissa. It was a Friday, and she explained to me that my check would be mailed out on Monday to pay off my other vehicle. When I purchased my car I had two weeks until the one I traded in had a payment due. I called the dealership when my payment was due since it was never paid off, just to be told they sent the check in already, and finally giving me the number to corporate in Sarasota. I called and spoke to their receptionists four times. Melissa, who was very unfriendly and was supposed to have someone call me back and never did, and someone named Kelly who was nice and was supposed to call me back directly, and never did. I then called for John Hinson, the “supervisor”, who got on the phone and started off seeming annoyed, as if I was bothering him. He had a terrible tone, kept chuckling at the issue and told me, “your check has been sitting on Mr. Plattner’s desk for weeks, I’m not sure why he hasn’t signed it and mailed it”. He told me there wasn’t much he could do besides “tackle” him and make him sign it. I emailed Mr. Plattner himself and got no response. I contacted a Oleda at the location I bought from, and she was the only helpful person, as well as corporate Volvo and they opened a case to get my car paid off by the next business day. The business practices of this location are insane, and the fact that I had to have a late fee added to my bank account and worry about it being reported to my credit is unheard of. I would NEVER buy from a Plattner group again or recommend anyone to them.

Horrible. No inspection on the vehicle I purchased during intake. I pulled off the lot for my 90 minute drive home and it started smoking. Popped the hood and coolant was bone dry! I called the dealer asking for paperwork saying the vehicle was inspected before putting it up for sale, and all I received was “shop manager said he checked”. I asked for proof multiple times, but was never shown. Have since put nearly $2000 into the vehicle (in the last 3 weeks).Oh, and all this time, my 10-day payoff for my trade was ignored. I called at least 7 times in the last 10 days. Patty said “the owner has it, he signs off on these”. It wasn’t until 28 days post purchase, and a threat of legal action that my paperwork was done.Finally - I overheard two women talking when I was on “hold”, that they actually SOLD my trade-in before even having the title in hand!!!! How can this company be in business.Worst experience I’ve ever had as a consumer. How this company remains in business is beyond me. Everyone from the owner down to the salesman are scum.I’ll be sharing this story on many more platforms.

I traded in a vehicle and almost a MONTH has passed and they havent paid my loan off!!! I have called numerous times; now they are ignoring my calls!!! I have names: Patty, Natatasha, Christiana, John Hinson and OWNER. It seems you are always in meetings or away from their desk. Gee, What are you running from??If you are a professional company you would take care of your customer.This is NOT the case!!! My spouse wanted to purchase a truck at Plattners Labelle Dodge company it was a 2013 single cab Dodge Ram 1500 series nothing fancy no power anything Windows, mirrors etc.. Spouse was told 1000 down and payments would be around 350 to 380 when all was said and done we put 1300.00 down (in the form of a cashiers check) and payments where 450.00 a month not a problem, contract written up and signed truck was brought home almost 2 weeks later we get a call have to return back to Labelle Dodge to sign a new contract that would need another 700.00 down and payments set at 600.00 a month. Gladly shook the finance managers hand and said no thank you, heres the keys, and the truck is outside. I then asked what happens to the deposit we gave we were told youll have it back with in 72 bussiness hours, ok no problem this was back on 8/9/17. As of today being 9/13/17 No deposit has been returned. Excuse after excuse and not just from Labelle Dodge but also from their corporate office. From the check has been cut but it was sent to Ocala, sent to Arcadia, hell even sent to Sarasota, and when it was finally sent to Labelle Dodge it wasnt endorsed so it needed to be sent back to corporate. The newest excuse is Hurricane Irma came and sent people evacuating, well if I would have had my deposit back I too would have also evacuated, I understand hurricane Irma came through and ripped Florida a new one but do you understand that we also live here in Florida(Lee county) and our town was one of the towns Irma came barreling through, or does it even matter? I called corporate again today the check has still yet to be endorsed and now before it is they need more information from Labelle Dodge. Go figure...

I have been employed for several years and let me tale you why I give this a five star . The five star is truly on how I and others have been treated . Over worked for the pay that you expect to receive is always a issue deals not funded deals missing money short from managers taken because they were not paid . Second star for service departments always issues customer not really satisfied with what they were told do not except cash this is America cash is excepted every were but here I was told the managers got sticky fingers bring your vehicle in to have the free oil change come to find out there is no such thing as free except on the new models and there stupid maintenance program service department never put on protected covers to protect from oil and grease and after the service is thru got to wait for ticket or wait to have the car brought to you that may take a while. Third star goes to sales department the sales associate do the best that they can get you in then the numbers are always wrong all the hidden fees that they add on and not told to the customers many locations thru out the state and they all work there deals different then each other they charge for stuff that is not even on the car its not the sales man place to make the call on some of these things but being charged for pin stripes door guards and nitro in tires for as many cars I see go thru a place I have only seen a few bottles come in for this they install the green caps but no nitro and charge for this the payoffs are always late never on time and customers call and ask what the deal is not paying off there previous vehicles loan it is not them you can blame its the owner as long as he got your vehicle and its funded he makes money on your money tag issue expire plates can not issue tags because the car still has an out side Leon on it from previous customer or not paid for from the auction the warranty that you may have got I would call to verify that it is real warranty I have seen several of them the customer paid for it but has no record of it in the warranty company as well as gap and permanent plate that was not really installed on it but the sticker was properly installed what gets me there are a few good salesman that know there product and then you get the Rookies that are there just to collect a check til there draw is up its not there fault they are trying to make a living like the old saying is you get what you come for. The forth star goes out to managers there are a few good managers but when they do not get paid what happens the petty cash disappears cars disappear and there is never a set way to sale a car they make up there rules day by day and at least two times a week there is that call from Doug and corporate on how what we are going to do to sale a car that goes on for hours the managers use the curtesy cars for there on personal use give one to there wifes or friends to use never a plate to use for test rides because all the plates are out a lot of shady things go on but never the managers fault always some one else . The last star goes to Doug you are a very smart man get all these people to work for you and use there money to fund your business and change the pay plan over and over and keep playing with there money that they worked for. You should be a shamed of your self saying one thing and doing the opposite.im glad Im no longer there and customers please be ware of this company its not all there fault but before you sign make sure you are aware of everything and that you get it all in writing and for all the workers dont let them do you wrong like they did me for the few months I was employed this is the worst car dealership I have ever worked for and if you find something better leave before you get taken for because they dont care and by the end of the day they will have you replaced and the work you have done you will never get paid on it and to move on the Plattners are all for them self and dont care about there employees nor there customers . DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!! MARK MY WORD!!! I purchased a car from this company. A part of the deal was for them to clear the loan balance on the car I traded in. Its going 2 months since the transaction and they are yet to pay off the loan. I accumulated late fees and the risk of my credit being ruined.I called the location in Lehigh where I bought the car. They gave me a number for their office in Sarasota. I contacted them, they told me its the office in Arcadia. I got a constant run around. When I finally got someone on the phone he told me that he was short staffed and could not even look at my case until another week.So in order to keep my credit from being ruined I am making 2 loan payments. One for the car i purchased from them and the other that i traded in which I am sure they have sold and made a profit on by now!STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!
