I spent the perfect day finding my perfect dress at Calvet Couture. Erica made me feel so comfortable with the whole experience. I spent months looking at dresses online and couldn’t pinpoint exactly what I wanted. Add to that, I typically hate shopping. The best experience! First of the all, the store is so cute and filled with many beautiful dresses. Then there is Erica, who is just the best. She even pulled a list of dresses I sent pre-appointment so I could try on as many as I needed. She was very patient and attentive to what I liked and did not like. Thanks to her magical expertise, she pulled a dress that just seemed “made for me” and one I likely would not have found on my own. After visiting several bridal salons in the Tampa Bay Area I can confidently state that Calvet Couture in Sarasota is one of the best! The selection of dresses was amazing and Emily did such a great job in learning my style and pulling dresses for me. I initially made the appointment to shop for dresses from a specific designer, Jenny Yoo. I emailed with Emily before my appointment to see which dresses were available and she got back to me in a very timely manner. She even offered to pull some of the dresses from their other salons if necessary. I was initially all over the place and very confused about my bridal style; however, Emily paid attention to the dresses that I was drawn to and was able to start pulling dresses that matched my style but I did not initially choose. I did not feel pressured to pick a dress on my first visit and Emily simply noted my favorite dresses and told me to come back when I was ready. I made a follow up appointment a couple weeks later where I said yes to the dress and it was such an amazing experience with champagne and confetti sparklers!Emily never made me feel rushed or pressured during my appointment. The entire salon is reserved for your party without having to make a special VIP appointment. Additionally, the appointments time slots are well spaced out for about so that you do not feel rushed during your appointment. The sample dresses are also in immaculate quality and Emily does such a great job of clipping you into the dress so that you truly look your best and can see how the dress will look in the correct size! I honestly had the BEST experience at Calvet Couture and I would recommend them to everyone!

I visited this boutique over the July 4th weekend with my future mother- and sister-in-law and had the most lovely experience! Erica was thoughtful and very attentive, explaining the dress styles and designers, and was even able to know if I liked something before I did! The store has a great selection for all kinds of brides, from contemporary to classic looks, and is a great place for brides in any stage of wedding planning to look for their dress. AMAZING experience. The salon is stunning and in a great location. I went in to my appointment with an album of gowns from the salons designers. Erica was very attentive to what I was looking for and my personal style. She pulled several of the gowns I had picked out prior and also styles that I wouldnt have thought of trying. Erica was so great helping me in and out of gowns and explaining different types of styling and looks. She pulled a Pronovias gown that I had seen online, but was not really impressed with. She thought it was a good option for my body type and style. Im not an overly confident person, but this gown looks even better on me than it does on the model. This gown was made for me. And I would have never pulled it from the rack to try on. Erica literally found my wedding dress for me. She is so good at what she does and Im so glad she was my consultant. I cant wait to pick my dress up in a few months and start alterations!

Erica was amazing! I cant say enough about how wonderful all of Calvet Couture was. I originally contacted the Winter Park location and they connected me with Erica in Sarasota. We were trying to find a specific Pronovias gown. Their communication was excellent and booking an appointment online couldnt have been easier.Two other different salons said they had the gown and when we got there, found they did not, one of the salons was even Pronovius in Miami. To assure us, Erica even took a pic of the gown in the shop and texted it to me. The gown selection was the best weve seen. Many of the other shops had similar looking dresses but every single dress in Calvet Couture in Sarasota was gorgeous, nothing common about any one of them. If youre looking for a gown, this is worth the trip. We traveled from north of Tampa and are so glad we did!

This post is overdue! I LOVED everything about both of my experiences at Calvet. Erica is the sweetest to work with & went above and beyond for me! The second time I went ( to buy a second dress - for the reception part of the wedding) I didnt even bring my girlfriends because I had such a blast with Erica the first time lol The location, store and gowns are absolutely beautiful. I had my first bridal appointment this morning. Thought it was at 10am and it was actually scheduled for 10:30, it wasn’t a problem and Erica was there as early as we were and was extremely accommodating! Spent the better half of the morning trying on the most gorgeous dresses. She made me feel like a princess! The store was by appointment only and that made the experience significantly better. I knew I found THE dress as soon as I put it on and my party knew it too. Erica let me try on others and really compare my favorites to clear up any doubts. I actually left the shop to go to my next appointment at a different shop. At the next appointment all I could think about was putting MY dress back on. We were able to go back today and say YES to the DRESS! I couldn’t have been happier or more excited. Erica made the experience unforgettable and amazing. Her customer service was above and beyond 5 stars.

Calvet Couture Sarasota is a dream to go wedding dress shopping! Erica is hands down amazing. She was so attentive and helpful. I found the dress of my dreams and literally had to cancel my other appointments. I found a dress here that I knew I wouldnt find anywhere else! Calvet Couture had so many options for me as far as styles go and even prices. My family also had such a nice time watching me try on dresses and working with Erica. I can’t believe this boutique was right around the corner! The pricing and selection was exceptional in this elevated shop. From scheduling my appointment to purchasing my dress, Erica was top notch! My experience at Calvet Couture was wonderful. Prior to my arrival, Erica had all of the dresses I had asked to try already pulled. She also gave me a quick tour of the store inventory, and made suggestions to things she thought I might particularly like. It really made me feel special. After postponing for so long (thanks, COVID), this was the first time I really got to feel like a bride, and it was an experience I will not forget. Erica also helped me a lot with my indecisiveness (when you try on a dozen dresses, you can easily get overwhelmed/confused); Erica was there to reassure me/gently remind me of what my original likes/dislikes were and it helped to cut through all of the confusion so that I could stick to my original look. She made wonderful suggestions regarding sleeve changes, jewelry, and veils. The store selection is amazing; plenty for every body type and style. 10/10 would recommend!

I’ve followed Calvet Couture for ages now, almost as soon as I got engaged! I was super super excited to try on dresses by Pronovias. They were so incredibly elegant! I had a wonderful experience! I went to Calvet Couture in September and was helped by Erica. Erica was very kind and knowledgeable. She was very graceful in jumping in when I had questions or needed an tie breaker decision between my mom and I, but also was very good at giving us space to really see how I felt in the dresses. She let us take our time and never felt push-y or sales-y. I never thought I would go with a sample sale dress, after seeing samples at other stores that were very stained/torn, but ended up getting one here, as all of the samples were immaculate. The store itself is very cute, too!

We were so excited when a friend referred us to Blush! My mom and I thought that we were going to have to fly up to New York to find a unique selection like the one they carry at Blush. I knew that I wanted to find something special for my wedding day and was over the moon to find that Blush carried so many incredible designers. My hardest decision was which gown to pick! I found my gown during one of their trunk shows last summer. Nicole and Fondern were amazing, they didnt put any unwanted pressure on me and really made the experience something that I will always remember. I cant wait for one of my friends to get engaged so I can refer them to Blush (and hopefully come along as well)! Also, Mirta their seamstress was AMAZING and made my gown fit perfectly for my wedding. We had a destination wedding and she helped me stick to my timeline and was so accommodating.

My experience with Blush was second to none! I visited 3 other shops in Tampa/St Pete and spoke on the phone to 3 others located in Orlando and Miami. A friend mentioned that a new bridal shop had opened in Sarasota, and I am so glad she did!
