I honestly felt robbed at this place. They charged me $98 dollars for nothing. It was just a general check up. They found nothing wrong with my car and still charged me that amount. I understand service fees, but $98 for just scanning a vehicle through a computer is crazy.

Reese’s Chevron has earned a strong 5 stars in my book. They give good ole fashion service at the pump. For you younger ones that means they pump the gas for you. They check the air etc... their service was outstanding. The old school decor was the bomb. Thanks for taking me back in time

I discovered Reeses when I moved to Sarasota (nearly 20 years ago) and have been going there ever since. Its more than just a gas station. Its one of the rare full service gas/service stations left in Florida (or anywhere). The business opened on Main Street in the 50s. Its family owned and operated be people who do theiswork because they love it. The mechanics are excellent and their old fashioned service makes every customer feel special. I no longer live near downtown but go out of my way to fill up there weekly and they have taken total care of my cars since the day I first said, Fill it up, please.

Nice convenient gas station in the middle of town on Main. Apparently full service. Very nice people. Regular $2.99/gal. They pump for you. Couldnt be nicer. Easy Im and out at stop light on south side of Main.

Chevron on Main St. Sarasota is the best; Ive been in Sarasota for seven years, and Im so happy getting my repairs there, as well as gas. Not long ago I left my credit card there accidently; I knew it would be there when I drove back; they were waiting for me for me to pick it up.; theysaid they tried to flag me down when I left, but didnt see them. They are wonderful people.

I never recommend it, they mistreat customers the owner of the premises denied access to his public bathroom to a woman forbidding the entry to immigrants and blacks, she only waited very early for a medical appointment and had a desire to urinate when she asked permission to enter, the sir denied him entry saying so. Non-immigrants and non-blacks can enter😡

Had a very good experience with them. They fixed my massive oil leak in a day even when they were super busy. I found out my friend who used to be a race car driver took his car there too, so it’s got to be good. I will definitely be back for any future automotive needs that I can’t handle myself.

I have been a customer of Reeses for 10+ years. I gladly pay a little extra for the gas, because of the service and friendliness of the team. Besides, I always make up for it on the service. They are honest, reliable, and priced well below dealers and other service stations.

I have found them to be very accommodating and courteous. Fixing problems the dealership couldnt fix.

Normally I would say this place is good, after three years of getting gas here... I had called in and asked if he would service my vehicle which was having problems at the time. The guy straight up refused to help me. Then today trying to get gas before the hurricane hit the guy wouldnt even let me get gas... every other place in town is out of the stuff and this guy says sorry only special people. So much for helping people in need. Wont ever come back or refer business here ever again.

Took my Caddy in for a noise in the rear end. Test drive, fixed problem. test drive again for $18. HOWEVER, when I needed the rack and pinion changed on my Ford Escape, he refused to do it cause I had my own part that found rebuilt for $99 instead of his marked up $399 unit. I guess he wont miss my business.

Wow. My mom went there to have a headlight bulb replaced. She is not familiar with cars, so when she thought the mechanic was unsure how to replace, he told her if she didnt leave him alone to do it hed let her go back out in the street with it as is. Great customer service, you really have a way with first time customers. I was on the phone with my mom when the mechanic said this and while he raised his voice to her telling her to wait, so also heard myself. I know, 84 year old women can be really intimidating.I dont know about Rick, but if this is how the business is run or the kind of employees he has, its a wonder he is still in business. Avoid this place unless you want to be treated like crap from a mechanic. Thanks for nothing.

The place to go if you want to pay for work they dont do! I took my truck there to have brakes done, got taken by the classic your brake lines busted while it was here gag. Paid to have them replaced, found later that original lines are still there. Shame on me, thats an old trick.

This place is fantastic. They are fair about repairs, and a joy to step in and see. It ought to be on the tourist map as it is a window into how America used to be with family owned stations and repair shops. Mayberry but its now.Bring the kids and grandchildren to see it. You can also get a Coke inside, as well as see the collection of old gas station toys and trucks along the top. Chevron ought to make sure that there is one station like this in every town.

Rip off, be careful !! The price was outrageously 60 cents more expensive than stated on Google maps. No price tags and he will fill up the car for you personally. So that you dont notice the completely overpriced price. Most expensive gas station in the area!
