We use Black Jack Air for residential and commercial work, and we have been very pleased with both aspects! Debbie is very helpful in their office, and the technicians they’ve sent out have also always been very nice too! I trust them, and I know their work is top-notch! We’ve actually used a few other companies at our business, and Black Jack Air has been one million times more knowledgeable than the others!!

I am so pleased and want to shout from the rooftops at the service I received from Black Jack Air & Mechanical. I was referred to them by a now considered great friend in Sarasota who spoke highly of them and now I know why! I was able to experience the great customer service in the office first off. They seemed very concerned that it would be in the 90s by noon and my unit stopped working ... there was a very friendly, thorough and informative tech at my home within an hour of my calling. He checked and cleaned my unit right down to clearing out my drain lines and changing my filters. He then advised me that my unit is considered old (2000) and will need to be replaced very soon but lets get whatever life it may have left. 3 years later and my unit is still running like a champ! It was the best $100 Ive ever spent and I highly recommend them to every friend or family member in need of help with their A/C units. Ive yet to hear anything negative about my referrals and have true confidence in the Black Jack Team!Ive never been one to gamble and if i would have believed such negativity as I have just read on here, I would have never been so lucky to have such great service! Nothing is for free and these people should be paid for their prompt timing, great customer service, and intelligence if you ask me, they are worth every penny!2 thumbs up and a double high five for Black Jack Air!

Blackjack Heating & Air did an exemplary job solving my problem with a clogged drain that shut down my unit. Chris, their technician, was professional and courteous. He not only cleared the clog, he also fixed the poor arrangement of the drain line that made it difficult to clear regularly, so we should not have a problem in the future. I wish all services were this good. Thank you Blackjack.

Dont Gamble on Black Jack Air! They been billing me for for work that was not done, even after I contacted them about it and they said they would correct the issue.I contact the owner about an issue I was having with our air conditioning freezing up. They sent a person out to inspect the unit. When he was here it was running fine at the time so he never even checked the inside unit then he walked outside got the number off the outside unit and said it was working fine and left. He was not even here for 10 minutes and never even took any tools off his truck, never checked the unit, stated it was fine and gave me an estimate for a new unit. Within hours of his leaving the unit stopped working again and I called someone else to come out and they inspected the unit and stated the coils were rusted all the way through. I have picture of the rusted coils to prove it. We ended up having to replace the unit. Black Jack Air has been sending me bills for this every months ever since this occurred for $100. Their man did nothing but they are sending me bills for $100. I spoke with the owner and he said that yes they had issues with that employee and he would take care of it. That was 4 months ago and they still have not taken care of it. I have pictures and a estimate from the 2nd company that come out the next day following Black Jack Air, a testing to the fact that the unit was not working properly and needed repairs. BEWARE...

This AC company does not take any responsibility for installing AC units with problems. They simply tell you to take it up with the manufacturer which in our case was YORK. 2-3 year old units having problems. YORK replaces the parts b/c under warranty but Black Jack expects to get paid for every minute they spend fixing the issue and simply states, it is not their problem. Bad way of doing business. They should not be installing units that have problems or maybe it is good for their business because these units have issues all the time. Another problem is that if you want to use your credit card, they charge you 10% additional. Again, another example of bad business. Credit card fees today are what you pay to do business these days. They just dont get it. Lastly, they have a technician who wants to preach on being an Atheist. Just be a tech and get the job done. Dont mind the cross I have on my wall because I am a Christian. Not a trustworthy business. As the name states, Black Jack, you are gambling when you call these guys.

This company is a joke. The technicians are extremely rude and all the want to do is sell you on parts that you dont even need! We had a clogged filter and it froze the unit up. Once the filter was removed the unit began to work just fine. When the tech came back into the reception area he said that he would need to get a price for a blower mower (that their company has already replaced twice in two years)!! I will negatively recommend this company to my peers and colleagues!

I have used Black Jack for all of my HVAC needs in both my business and home. Noel is my number one contact when it come to Air Cond and staying cool!!!!!
