I recommend. I took a 100 + year old table built by my Great-Grandfather over to Hank to have it refinished. I need to say that I am totally satisfied with his work, he exceeded my expectations. Just so you can see the difference I provided before and after pictures.

What do you do when your 150-year-old heirloom sideboard arrives on the moving truck with a fractured leg, split column and gaping backboard? I thought my heart would break, but then I found Hank at Furniture Repair and Restoration. He promised that only he and I would ever know it had been damaged after he carefully loaded it into his truck and took it away. He was right! He turned tragedy into triumph, and I cannot recommend his loving craftsmanship highly enough.

I literally never leave a review, but found it necessary after my experience today. I had tried calling this business for two days and was never able to reach someone without leaving voice mail and having them contact me back. When I got a call back, the man went on to lecture me on having a full voicemail box (rudely) and then when we went into discussing the furniture pieces that need repair- which ended up with him lecturing me rudely around how to take care of these pieces and that leaving cups on the table is 101 basic information. He went on and on around why would I do that and that its obvious, etc.. I could not handle this scrutney at some point and told him Im not looking to be lectured, Im looking to simply repair these pieces and then he said I should find someone else.. This was literally the worst customer experience I have ever had with a business and would not recommend Furniture Repair and Restoration

Just had a 30 year old Bernhardt Dinning Room table with a pickled oak surface repaired / partially refinished by Hank. The color from felt under two 6 diameter candlesticks bled into the wood surface. Many others were unwilling to attempt to repair it. I was skeptical after talking to them. Hank came to my home and had me fixed up in 2 hours. Very fair pricing. I was very pleasantly surprised. Hank is a true professional. Excellent character. Takes pride in his work. I strongly recommend his wood surface repair / refinishing services. Super job! Well done! Thanks so much.

We have had an A+ experience with Hank. Most recently he repaired a 100 year old guitar. Our expectation was that he would just make it look good. He rebuilt it, restored it and now, it is a beautiful, tuneful guitar. He has repaired a complicated chair as well as an antique chess set, even making a missing piece. I had to have a repair to a fairly expensive bamboo chair with a broken arm. I worked with Hank at Furniture Repair & Restoration. What a great find! He does nice work, is very customer oriented and very knowledgeable. He repaired the chair and it looks perfect. If I ever need furniture repair or restoration again, this is where I am heading.

The mover damaged our baby grand paino while moving it. Our tuner recommended Hank to us. He was prompt and did a wonderful job for us. He took his time and if you see our piano now you wont be able to tell where the damage was. The damage was horrendous. We were lucky the soundboard was intact. Engage Hank and you wont regret it.

Hank just delivered the chairs and cabinet door he repaired for me and I am just thrilled by the quality of the work. A set of wooden Hitchcock dining room chairs and the glass paneled door on the cherry hutch were damaged during a move. Hank was able to repair the wood (filling gouges and chips; touching up paint where it had been worn away) -- the hutch in particular look fantastic (he matched the color and the detail of the broken frame perfectly). He was also prompt about pick up and delivery. I recommend him whole heartedly.

Hank did an outstanding job repairing numerous pieces of furniture damaged during our move. Our Pennsylvania House furniture looks new! He was conscientious, meticulous and so easy to work with.

Our very large cat jumped off of the bar and landed on a barstool that in turn fell over with the cat on it and broke in two pieces on the top. Fortunately the cat was okay, but the very nice Restoration Hardware barstool was broken and the top of the seatback was in two pieces. Hank fixed the chair and it is impossible to tell where he glued it back together. An amazing job at a very fair price. We would not hesitate to recommend him for any furniture repair.
