It would be nice to have a someone ringing up my items instead of only self checkout. I feel like I should be getting a paycheck by the time I leave. Absolutely ridiculous!!

Its about what you would expect for a walmart. Theyre fairly busy and the unfortunate shipping issues have caused them too be fairly understocked. However the customer service here was slightly better than most.

We purchased a new TV. Love it. Has Roku built in. So very pleased with our purchase.

I have been looking at getting a full set of tires and as I looked online pricing them out Walmart consistently came out on top with the price of the tires and installation charges. That led me to decide which Walmart had which tire that I wanted and found it available at the Murphy road Walmart. The problem was nobody at the Murphy road Walmart would answer the phone. The automotive department did not answer in the main line did not answer. The first time I called the store in Santee somebody picked up the phone explained how the system worked and what the cost would be so I decided to make the drive to Santee from El Cajón.Scott came right out as soon as I pulled up even though you could see they were very busy and as we quickly discovered about this used vehicle I had purchased, it was going to be a challenge to find the right tire. Scott help me to find out that I had a undersized custom rim and he when inside to see what he had available and came back in a few minutes with a couple of options that were both good choices. He looked for openings on the calendar for Saturday or Monday but all of those spots were full and I needed to get out of town so I went ahead and left the car there that afternoon.What about 3 hours later I had four new tires at the right price with a good warranty for 65,000 miles and found everybody very easy to work with and incredibly polite. Having not done a lot of business with Walmart in their automotive aspect the actions of Scott and his team there in Santee have earned this particular Walmart the right to my future automotive business.

I needed to purchase outdoor security cameras, and decided to check out Walmart to do some price comps .I asked a very cool employee named Connor for assistance. Connor was amazing and extremely knowledgeable, in electronics. His customer service was Exceptional and I received excellent service from an amazing young man! I have visited this particular Wal Mart once before and had a better experience.The selection of items plentiful with the exception of beer. The more popular one were not on the shelves. Also service help to the shopping aisle was non-existent. I had to track someone down for assistance and she turned out to be very rude.

Its ok, its just for some unknown reason you always have to run in to that angry person, the has no reason to be, nevertheless they ruin your shopping trip, and it never fails at Walmart...

No complaints but......Lines were kinda long and they didnt have enough cashiers but its walmart so its expected. Also they charged 10 cent for bags but I lived in Chicago so I understand they have no control over that. Cashier was friendly as hell and the store was super clean.

Store was nice and clean. Got lucky and found some pretty cool Hot Wheels I needed for my collection. One of the employees Melanie was helpful and cracking jokes with us..🤓👍

Santee Walmart is a nice one! Usually well stocked and easy to find most anything. But the slowdown in trade seems to be at work here too. More than normal empty places on shelves, but stockers were busy filling those with fresh stuff. Fortunately got all but one item on my list, which I cant find anywhere Ive looked. Workers are polite and helpful. Of course, I will return!

Don’t bother calling their Electronics department. You will wait 20 minutes on hold, they will answer the phone then put you on hold right away without saying anything. And then if you choose to go there anyway to ask your question in person they are just as rude. It’s jaw dropping and sad

Pretty good shopping experience yesterday except that they ran out of bags several days before my grocery shopping trip but not a problem.

Weve shopped in two different Walmarts this week; one in Page, AZ, and one in Santee, CA; the Page store had zero cashiers working on any of the three occasions we shopped; the Santee store had one cashier, and a long line of disgruntled shoppers.I will no longer shop at any Walmart unless there are an adequate number if cashiers working. I will leave my cart in the aisle and leave the store if there are cashiers working when I arrive, but absent when its time to pay and go.The only ayment option should never be self-check-out if they expect me to give them my hard-earned money: the Walton familiy has enough damned money; time to focus their attention on customer service, where it belongs.

I went over for a pickup and after 15 minutes they never came out. After calling they said there was a system glitche and didnt know I was out waiting. Very disappointed...

This review is for the staff. I have asked multiple people for help in the store that work there & they are great! I needed help in the meat department, produce, and the baby section that day and I had excellent service from the staff every time. It makes up some for having to wait in long lines at checkout.😁

The store was clean and very well organized and well stocked compared to other walmarts. The staff was very polite in the three different areas i went to and very helpful. The young man seen that I was looking for something and came over to me to ask what it was and checked to see where it would be and if this walmart carried it.

Its a smaller store, so they dont have the grocery selection that our suoercenter does, but its pretty good

Friendly people working there, prices are good. Clean inside and organized but if you need canned cat food they are always out .never stock enough for their customers who frequent there alot .

Power went out 5 minutes then noone could check out. Then after another lengthy time, cash only...long lines people confused and frustrated..then Walmart credit and cash! 🤷‍♀️🤦‍♀️. What was worse no overhead announcements employees were telling people almost one to one. Unorganized is an understatement! I give their reaction to this situation an F!!!

I actually like our Santee Walmart you can find almost everything here which is great and the staff are friendly and helpful.

I truly despise Walmart, but my handicapped roommate has Rxs there, so I took him. I was pleasantly surprised because this was the first time I had managed to get in and out in a decently short time.

Nothing special 🤠 to brag about but nice and roomy and clean, stocked shelves. In the makeup dept everyone has to pay there but its suppose to be only 10 itens you can ring up at a time. But what if I have 11!? I mean If I was gonna shoplift i already have the makeup in a bag now and Im walking around the store!! It seems counter productive to me. HahaI still like this Walmart best!

If I could give zero stars I would, my friend was trying on a shirt while recording and a very rude lady came up and started yelling at him and accusing him of stealing without even letting him talk first, the tag was clearly still on the shirt and he was recording, there was no stealing going on. This ladies rude, disrespectful and very unprofessional behavior deserves to get her fired, until then would definitely not recommend going to this store. I never write reviews but this is the most un professional behavior I have ever witnessed in my life, someone needs a change of attitude.

Some of the shelves are empty but I guess its because of a problem at the port. Cant blame Walmart.

So i as i entered the store, i was browsing around and bought a few items then i went checkout. however i left the store all fine as i was unlocking my car to put my bags in my trunk i saw an employee chasing me down and telling me to take off my shoes as it was hers and belonged to “her shop”. i felt threatened and so i took off my shoes that wasn’t even walmart branded and let her take them back into the store, i was going to complain to a manager but she told me not to enter her store ever again as she was the CEO and the shoes belonged to her

Rude employee. She wasn’t wearing proper attire or anything and she was on the phone, what kind of customer service is that? No wonder target stay winning. It’s because you hire employees who think they own the whole store when they only getting paid like $9 an hour.

The ladys at the door are really sweet. After that its cool as long as you dont need help. Especially spray paint. If one more person comes to help and asks if I pushed the button on that dumb box. Ive purchased a lot of paint and I know their service is terrible, sorry, TERRIBLE. Employees will walk by you and this all happened again this week.

My friend was trying on a shirt outside of the dressing room since its closed. A lady who worked there yelled at him to leave because he was stealing. Saying get out of my store, embarrasing for Walmart to have someone like that working.

The store was nice but the stock was pretty bad. A lot missing, didnt match what was online. But it was a quaint little store. The workers were very polite.

Called in to stock check an item and it was less than helpful, drove to the store to see if they had the item in stock and waited for an employee to open a locked case. After no one showed up to help I ended up tracking an employee down in order to open the case. He was friendly and helpful but overall not happy with the experience.

Would give ZERO stars if i could. worst walmart iv ever been to the manager was so rude to me when i asked her where something was. when i was heading to checkout i literally saw her accusing a young man of STEALING a shirt when he was obviously just trying it on and told her so. she didn’t even ask questions just “get out of my store and take my shirt off”. she was not wearing her mask correctly even in the slightest. couldn’t even tell she worked there as she was wearing a regular shirt with no tag or anything. plz Walmart if you want to keep ur store selling products and happy customers get a better manager and fire that horrible women.

I was trying on a shirt and a lady about 25, brown hair and glasses came up to me and started beating me with a box while telling me to get out of her store. I laid on the ground feeling so betrayed by the services of this Walmart and dreamt about a Walmart where all could be treated with kindness. Walmart please get your pest problem under control.

Rude and obnoxious lady started berating a young teenager for trying on a shirt, she claimed it was her store even though its a corporate Walmart, last I checked none of the Walton family work at their walmart stores. Walmart please look into this issue, no customer should be treated like this.

Clean, organized store, the isles are space right for wheelchairs and stroller accessibility.Like in many Walmart’s I seen, the beauty products are now enclosed and you have to pay at their own counter, good idea!The parking lot in front is huge and it has plenty of spaces to accommodate crowds or large vehicles.

Horrible, horrible customer service. Tonight (May 15, 9:30pm) I was shopping for just a few items and was heading to the self-checkout when I was rudely told that you must have a cart to enter the self-checkout area. First, the lady yelled very rudely. Second, that’s completely ridiculous and I’ve never heard of that before. Why should people without carts who only have a few items not be allowed to use self-checkout? It’s absurd to make people without carts stand in line in the only aisle they have open when there are 8 OPEN SELF-CHECKOUT MACHINES. Obviously the woman working tonight just did not want to do her job and should be fired or reprimanded. If this happens to me again I will be shopping exclusively at Target and Amazon. Be better.

Specifically the Auto and Tire department. Efficient, polite and a real value. 16.5 RV tires were $50 less apiece!

My friend and his dad were in the store,the fitting rooms were closed so my friend was trying on a t shirt and some rude staff member wearing jeans multiple sizes too small came over and started harassing him and accusing of stealing.extremely poor behaviour displayed from this staff member, when he proceeded to explain he was just trying it on and had recorded the entire encounter, (he was checking the outfit in the camera) she still tried to kick him out.

Its so pretty here with the sail boats, the water, and the San Diego skyline in the background. There are sidewalks for those who like to walk or stroll and small but useful grass areas to put lawn chairs or a blanket to enjoy a picnic and the amazing scenery. A couple smaller trees provide some shade. Theres also a restroom right here, plenty of parking, and restaurants and fast food in the area. Doesnt her much better than this anywhere!

I typically hate walmarts. They are always run done, dirty, not well stocked, and the employees are usually very rude. But this walmart checked all the right boxes for being the exact opposite! Lovely store, staff, and merchandise!

They need to improve on responce time for customers who need an item that is secured in a locked cabinet. They worry about theft of these items...really a 7 dollar belt, if they want to steal it they will after you give it to the customer.😊😎😂🤣🤔😁

I had slipped near the paint and tools section right in front of a worker. He didnt ask me if I was okay or anything he acted like it didnt happen. The only reason I have it three stars is because the manager I talked to was super nice and sweet.

I get it you’re closing in 30 minutes. But if you have several products on the shelf you should at least try to figure out how much the item cost. I was trying to buy the limited edition S’mores ice cream. When it wouldn’t ring up the cashier told me sorry this item is not found it’s discontinued. Really that’s what you’re going with. Thanks Shirley for not even trying to see if it was truly a discontinued item or it was just not in the system. Thanks for not calling someone for help. I was buying ice cream for my staff to enjoy for all their hard work during crazy COVID. But no s’more‘s for them. My staff would definitely not get away with that kind of customer service.

This is the Walmart you know. But this one seems like it could use some updating.The lighting is dim and the floors are not uniformly colored. Theres also a fair sized gap between the parking and the store entrance. The parking lot entry and exits are a bit awkward too. But its still the Walmart you like, with the prices you like.

Theres always parking at the Santee Walmart and every emoyee is super nice. The best times to go is early any day. Their pharmacy closes at 7pm so if you get there one minute to 7, they will take you. Like I said very nice!

Walmart is definitely not suffering through this pandemic and as far as I can tell their commitment to providing goods and services at a reasonable price has remained in tact. Remember to wear your masks and practice social distancing cause there is always plenty of customers present. Be safe

There is a nice path and trail into Mast Park on the San Diego River here next to the parking lot. Great for photography, bird watching, enjoying the river, and getting steps in before or after your errands. Often flooded in winter or after periods of rain.

No employees stopped me at the door, asking to see my receipt after Ive waited in line and gone through the check out .
