Im only giving this rating, and taking this survey to tell you how amazing of a job Elijah (electronics/tech dept) did helping me, and the LONG line of customers when I went in there yesterday. Poor guy was all alone, and had some very challenging customers. He handled it with extreme poise and professionalism!! Hopefully he isnt left alone anymore, because he had to deal with a lot and I couldnt thank him enough for all the help he did for me in my search for a new phone! Keep him as long as you can, give him a raise, or hopefully someone can at least thank him personally for all he did for ALL those customers in that department.

So convenient, I love that there is usually a good selection of products to choose from. No need to have to run around to different stores for what I need. Love that I can place my order from where I am and pick it up on my way home. It has been hard for me to walk since I have severe hip arthritis and cannot do a lot of walking - so this is a big help. Although I miss going into the store and browsing - but I will soon get to after my surgery!!! I cant wait to be back in the store!!! I love Target!!!

The exam was as expected, but the Dr. Makor was great. The front desk staff was awesome as well. I had to come back to order my contacts and glasses, and that visit was just as friendly as before. I will definitely return for future exams and purchases.

The return team members are so friendly. The lady Jody at the return counter at the Santee Ca. was so helpful, kind and patient. Kudos to her!

Best team ever! I usually dread shopping/hate shopping for glasses but I had a great time trying on glasses for the first time! The team knows what looks good and found me some fabulous glasses!! Got 2 pairs for a great deal!! 👍 definitely will go back for ALL future glasses!! 👓👌😎

I love the associates. Everyone at this store is very kind to my son who is disabled. Land even got a Carolines Cart so we can shop easier.

Today I was in the self check out line the manager Diana Saw my machine requesting help to take the tags off my clothes. We made eye contact three times knowing there’s a huge line behind me and she walks away requesting another employee toComeHelp me. that was going on her lunch. But requested her to come and help me. Purcilla was so sweet and nice and tells me there is a big issue in the self checkout lines with management. Which I agree finally after I was done checking out Diane finally approached me and said do you need any help I said no Diane you’re way too late I’m done checking out! I made eye contact with you three times previously and you never came. With my light flashing red. Now you finally decide to come over and assist me when I’mDone. Then have the nerve to tell me I never saw you even though you went to grab another employee to come and assist me that you had to walk across the store for. When you were less than 6 feet away from me.

This was my first Target Optical experience and it was the most pleasant and enjoyable experience I’ve ever had at an optical appointment. The staff was incredibly helpful and the Dr was knowledgeable and was able to answer all my questions/concerns. Overall I would highly recommend this location, as well as Target Optical for all optical needs.

This store always looks immaculate. I have never seen it a mess, or disorganized. The staff are very helpful. I love the corner by Starbucks that has all the cute stationary and affordable gifts. I always stop there first. Some prices are a bit high on kids clothing, but the brands at Target are so much better than competitors. I love the Cat & Jack brand and Art Class brand that is designed by kids! Quality costs money.

I had an appointment at the optical department, the exam was quick and easy and the ladies there were super helpful and friendly!

Dr Makor, Allison, and Rine were all amazing! Dr Makor was very warm, informative, and thorough. Her staff were very cool, welcoming, and personable. Allison helped get me an epic deal on contacts and Rine showed me some cute glasses for when I bring my little one in. I would highly recommend the Target Optical clinic. Amazing experience all in all and they accepted my insurance.

A lot of there clothing is real tacky. You dont want to end up looking like a clown.

This is a FANTASTIC convenience to be able to order, pick up when ready. The fact the associates will bring the items to your car-HUGE deal. I was able to place an order & send my disabled husband to pick up my items. I would have never been able to send him to the store by himself with a list. Plus, its convenient I can order during the day, pick up on my way home.

OMG I ran in looking for the Schrader bike valve unfortunately they didn’t have that. BUT on my way out there’s a 3 drawer dresser marked down 70%. Score. It was pretty heavy but Krystal and Autumn took it out to my car and put it right in. Thank you so much ladies. 5 Stars for you!

The stocking of products during daytime business hours is a problem. Many of the aisles are blocked by carts and the employees who are stocking product from those carts. They are making it difficult to get to the items in addition to passing through an aisle. Many times the people stocking act as if youre not there. I get that they are trying to do a job but the reality is that they are simply in the way. Many carts are left unattended as well. Santee Target, you can do better!

Cashier began coughing and without provocation, apologized and claimed Its gotten a lot better since I had pneumonia just a few days agoWhy in the heck is she not quarantined and forced to expose thousands of customers and coworkers... I assumed better from this store.To clarify, Target... I do not want HER punished for this. I doubt a Target employee could easily afford being laid off and honestly, the responsibility for this debacle is on the company and not the employee.

Me and my mom go to this Target atleast once a week, and normally it is very nice and everyone is beyond lovely! However, today as we are at the self check out, the security guard chose to stand directly behind us, making it clear he thought we were going to steal and was not social distancing as well. Mind you I am currently 8 months pregnant, and it is very obvious that I am pregnant, so with all due respect, even if you think Im going to steal, you can easily catch me??? It was just very rude considering I have never stolen and dont plan to start now, and it was obvious that he targeted just me and my mother as he didnt do it to anyone else at self checkout, and I actually did see someone else steal while he was too busy guarding us like a hawk looking over our shoulders. It was just very rude and an overall unpleasant experience.

Its easy to order, pick up is contactless, and the whole process is very efficient.

I would like to thank Kristyn in the tech department! She was so kind and helpful to my 83 year old mom and I when we brought in an iPhone that her granddaughter gave to her to set up on Consumer Cellular. I can’t say enough good things about her!!! She is a keeper!! I would like the manager of this store to know what an asset she is!

Mary at the santee store when my husband and I asked her a question about an item that was not even in the dept she was working went out of her way to walk us to the item we were looking for. When asked another question she found the person working in that dept and that person searched all around for what we were looking for and ended up going into the back and got us what we needed. Great customer service amazing customer service all around. You dont see that very much anymore. Thank you Target Santee for delivering awesome customer service....thank you Mary!!!

I love shopping at target. The store is always very clean and welcoming. I enjoy looking at the clothes, as well as purchasing from the food pantry.

My order was ready when promised, it was all there in the bag and the gal behind the counter was friendly and efficient.

I am not giving the store a 5 star but a woman by the name Katelyn. She helped me with my drive through order, every time I go things are missing and is frustrating when you get home and try and call and no one answers so now I always check. Anyway Katelyn was super nice about it and she was sooo busy but stopped everything she was doing to get my missing items and brought it out correct and fast! I wish they had customer service like that everytime. Thank you katelyn!!! ( younger woman with brown hair and brown eyes, slim build)

Pricing were not coming up on the self checkout, I was charged the wrong amount at the self check out. There were no cashiers available when the store opened at 7AM. Selves are barely stocked. Dismal experience

9/10 times at least one item is missing from my curbside pickup order.

This location is just as bad as the one in Poway, and now I come to find out its managed by the same guy (what a surprise!). Does Targets corporate office or regional manager even look at these online reviews???

I am extremely happy with the customer service at the Santee target. They are efficient, honest, and worked super well. Definitely recommend this target store as I really appreciate how they are willing to solve problems. There was a woman next to me who had an issue with labeling and shelving, and the store employees honored the price, I couldn’t believe it. Really genuinely customer base service. Same with my concert, they tried hard and were so helpful!

We enjoy shopping at this particular location. Given the state of affairs we are experiencing, this location was well stocked, well staffed and very organized. thank you for keeping the employees safe and employed.

It was very easy. The app is intuitive so the target rep was waiting in the pick-up area when I drove up.

We brought in out bags and bagged our own merchandise but your store still charged us on 6 bags we brought it in.

The price on the shift said a $1.99 but at check out 4.89

I wanted to get my hands on a limited edition game and watch and on their website it said they had it at this location so I drove for an hour to get to it and they said they ran out days ago. Luckily there was a gamestop nearby so I went and got it.

I like shopping at Target. It is always a clean and friendly environment.

No social distancing from crew or customers. This location in Santee is not limiting the number of customers in their store. A clear violation of county emergency health ordinances. There is some spacing near the check stands for the person in front and behind you. But last time I checked this disease also travels SIDEWAYS! The spacing only works in 360 degrees. Having lines less the 2 feet apart doesnt work. I feel very unsafe in this location. I feel sorry for the other customers and the crew members who have to work in such unsafe conditions. I guess the store leadership doesnt really care about the customers nor their crew. Other Targets are doing it correctly. Other companies are doing it correctly. I wonder whats wrong with the managers at this location??!! Please fix this ASAP.

Staff was very unhelpful. After ordering a shirt in a particular size and it being delivered in the wrong size I didn’t think it would be difficult for them to exchange -return the item that target wrongfully sent me. They did not refund my entire amount and overall I am very dissatisfied and disappointed in the service I experienced.

After submitting the order, I was dismayed to receive an email that part of the order was not able to be fulfilled due to items not being in stock. However, the order was placed for a specific store location due to those items being in stock at that location. I ended up driving a further distance than was necessary. The remaining items were in stock at a closer location.

We feel we get a better product brand, with reasonable pricing from Target. We would prefer to shop at a one-stop shop, and Target fits our needs. We have found most targets to be clean and well stocked, and the Santee store is no exception. Employees are friendly and helpful.

Wow even as an employee from a different store and out of county trying to get ahold of them is disappointing and disrespectful. What if I was an employee CALLING OUT because I was sick?! I called 8 times! I know y’all get trucks before 12am! Every store does! The fact that I was an employee calling to verify something for my own needs or being sick to fall out and no one still answers under even a San Diego number is disappointing. My store answers my phone number and it’s still a San Diego number. I was calling as an employee to verify product but y’all don’t want to answer anybody. Not target standards. Employee or not!

I am a big fan of Target already, but having a new Optical Dept. makes it the best one stop shop ever. Very knowledgeable Dr., she was super thorough and made informed recommendations. Did not feel rushed at all, unlike Costco optical experiences. She answered all my questions and the front of house staff were on the ball, could not be any happier with the highest level of service. Great pricing, even beat Costco pricing, rebates and discounts were impressive. Thank you and looking forward to bringing my son back next time.

Because only 1 team member said hello when I passed them. Others were very task oriented. At least the store was fully stocked so I was able to get in and out quickly. My favorite thing that Target did was being able to merge my Target card with my cartwheel so I dont have to scan two things and key a pin number. I checked out in less then an minute.

Loved my experience here. The Associates took their time to make sure that I found the right frames and didn’t rush me. They made sure as well that I got the best possible deal I could get with my insurance and a taking advantage of any target promotions. I will be definitely coming back. Even after my purchase I know that I can come back and they will always help me out.

I checked out at register 9 today and the cashier Madeleine was super helpful, fast, and had a really good aditude. She was very nice and there were no troubles when it came to checking out. 10/10 would recommend checking out with Madeleine when you pay for things.

Target stores are always clean, well organized and you have the most helpful team members! Cindy, my friendly cashier made my purchase smooth and enjoyable!

Crowded but not elbow to elbow for a Black Friday sale day. The sales I saw were unimpressive. The parking was a bit of a challenge but everyone was patient and in a good mood.

Was literally sent to three different people in the store to get change, just to be told that they do not have change. Im understanding that they may not carry change but why send me to multiple people? Would have been much easier for them to tell me that they dont give change, instead of having me wait in 3 different lines and that be the end result.

Great finds at a great price! I like this Target because its close and has all the things I need from food to clothing, cards, home goods, and even pet supplies. I appreciate that they take the time to think about how the consumer shops and put up nice displays here. Im also thankful that their prices are ususally decent and makes it worth shopping here.

I probably stop into Target at least once a month for various odds and ends. Its always at random times and almost every time I have gone, I have had a team member with a New Team Member badge be my cashier. I feel like their training program must be pretty good since these new team members rarely have any issues in ringing me up. I can usually find great stuff in store and there is almost always an employee at least within a few aisles of wherever I am at so I feel totally safe shopping in this store. There are always helpful team members around each corner and I think thats really great. Shopping here is a joy.

I want to say that Target Santee has the best team of employees I have ever seen. They work so hard to keep the store well stocked and clean when you got a crazy crowd of customers coming in all day long. You got your customers ranging from the friendly to the not so friendly (aka messy ones) these kind of customers make it hard for the target team to clean up after but they manage to get the job done that I have seen. I would totally recommend this store to anyone who just wants to shop and browse a little too. Dont forget to ask for any assistance the team really knows how to help because when I need help I find one of the friendly Target employees to help me out with anything and if they need help they ask around or look up what I need on the handy device they all carry with them. Please go check out this store for yourself if you dont believe me.

This place is trashy. The floors are filthy, the bathrooms are designed to be sleek rather than hygienic, often I see the lights flickering in certain areas of the store, the merchandise shelves (especially in the seasonal department) are unkempt, and overall the store is dirty and not what Id expect nor what it could be. Dont go here.

The friendly young lady who found my order and quickly brought it out for me. It was a bulky box and she offered to put it in the cart for me, but it wasnt heavy. The ease of the order and how quickly it was available.

The Target in Santee Ca. is a lovely store. It is always clean, The staff are very nice. The products I need are usually in stock. They always have the cat treats I need! The produce is always fresh!
