I’m a long-time customer. I have a complete service plan. The auto service reps techs are always friendly and respectful! Recently I had a flat tire in the morning and they opened up their doors early for me to fix my tire. This Firestone is like a small-town shop and they remember who you are and care about what kind of bind you’re in. They are honest and don’t try to up-sale you.

Always a pleasant to deal with. I bring my vehicle in for alignments by appointment and they get me in and out promptly.

Stopped in was doing errands and the staff I dealt with, Mathew & Rick was so awesome. Explained everything and went to work on my car. Excellent service and price. Shout out to you guys. In case no one has told you lately “YOURE AWESOME”

I had a horrible experience here with my scheduled appointment. The lady goes into an attitude saying how my VIN is missing one number and she cant identify it. From there she doesnt know what shes doing whatsoever or anything about car advice which is linked to her business through ebay. She made me feel like I was the one teaching her what her job should be. She had a huge attitude and told me that I can take my tire somewhere else if Im going to come at her like that. I tried to restart but she still had a bad tone and bad attitude. I advise never used car advice through eBay or ever use this Firestone complete auto care. They are jerks and need to really work on their communication skills with their customers and know what their job is

Came in for an appointment. Waited 10 minutes. Not one person said hi or made an effort to get me in and out. I left and went to another shop down the street. I walked in they got my information and they got my car going. Thats how it should be...

We have been coming here for a couple of years. This was the second time I brought my car in to have the brakes checked and the second time they told me a cleaning and adjustment was all I needed. $30 out the door.Dont get me wrong - other times I have been told $2k to fix a 2002 Subaru, but it probably needs the work :)

I first took my 2010 Mazdaspeed3 in to this Firestone on the recommendation of a friend for a good alignment guy back in Mar of 2017. Chris was friendly, courteous, and helpful getting my appointment scheduled, listening to my requests, and getting it done in a timely manner. When this first alignment was finished, my steering wheel was about 4-5 degrees off to the left. When I brought this to his attention, he told me it was due to worn tires. During this alignment, they noticed a puncture, and attempted to repair it. They removed the tire, and when scuffing the rubber before applying a patch, went way to deep, and then came out and told me it couldnt be repaired (blaming it on something else!). I took the car to another tire shop, pulled the tire off, and we found that damage Firestone tech had done. We plugged it and patched it (though sketchy), and I rotated them all, myself, and returned the car another day to have it realigned, specifically stating that I wanted my steering wheel centered, as Chris originally had promised me would be no problem to do (it shouldnt ever be a problem to do so). Again, they aligned it, and the steering wheel was way off center. Again, I was told it was due to badly worn tires. I just gave up and drove the car as it was until just before Xmas 2017.I needed new tires, and ordered some online, took them to the same Firestone to install. Darrell told me 1.5-2 hour wait, Fri before Xmas, no biggie. 2.5 hours into waiting, I asked him what the hold up was, he apologized, took $32 off my $136 mount and balance(!), and I was out the door in just over 3 hours. Conveniently for Firestone, well after dark! (They aligned it a couple days before this, and what do you know? Steering wheel still off, with new tires, 3rd attempt, this time telling me that you cant adjust that. Cant adjust the center on the steering?!)The next morning I went out to clean off the wheel mounting grease they had smeared all over my flat black wheels, and was shocked to see how much damage had been done to my wheels! They had chipped paint off all over the place. It looks like a drunk monkey with a ball peen hammer went to town on ALL four of them! They had obviously used a screwdriver to pry the center caps out, had slammed the air wrench socket into the lug holes, and had dragged the entire outer beads with steel. There were even other big scratches and chips on the spokes of the wheels, where they would have had absolutely no reason to even put a tool near the paint! I immediately called Darrell and let fly with my anger at their incompetence. He was very apologetic, and understood my frustration at the damage. Told me to bring it to Chris, the main manager.I waited until Chris returned to work, Weds after Xmas, and brought the car down for him to see. He came out to look at it, and basically told me I was lying, that there was no way they could have done all that because they are far too careful. Especially the center cap surround damage, he said there is no way they couldve done that, as they pop them out from the back side of the wheel! Obviously, your techs dont do that, Chris! He said the best he could do for me was to reimburse for materials to repair them. Really?! I wet sanded these wheels, etch primed them, then sprayed them with flat black epoxy, and let them cure for a week before installing them on the car. This finish has proved more durable than powder coating on my other wheels. Im used to having to touch up a nick or two on the outer bead of each wheel when I replace tires, but never anything like this amount of damage.I ran to the Home Depot down the street, grabbed the materials, and went straight back to get reimbursed. I looked Chris in the eye and told him I was really not happy at him suggesting I am a liar, and wasnt being honest about the damage. He said, oh no, nothing like that, that he meant I must not have noticed that they were so damaged when I brought them in, because of shopping carts and such. Shopping carts?! Hitting my wheels? Really?!

The oil service performed ok but they dont check and top off fluids are low.

This place is really great! They are very knowledgeable and very helpful and I always get frustrated when it comes to car problems and they always explain everything really well and work with you.

I went to this location and forgive me for not getting this ladies name, but as I walked in, a guy behind me walked in with two bags of chick fil a. She welcomed me and then and I proceeded to ask for my two tires changed she said hold on this is a little more important and talks to the Uber eats guy with the two chic fil a, I waited 10 minutes for her to grab her food and talk to her employees outback. More happened with how ride she was and how Firestone is sketchy about their cards being shipped. However, I got a a better deal, same tires, better customer service over at discount tire. No joke. Dont waste youre time with rude staff and over priced tires man.

I took my car in for maintenance and they are honest and great work.

These guys really came through for me. I purchased a truck from a local car dealer that will remain unnamed. Long story short I had to put on new suspension 2 days after purchasing the vehicle. These guys went above and beyond to align my vehicle even though the tech was supposed to go home. I would have had to miss work tomorrow. Even though I live in Point Loma I will be making this my Firestone location of choice.

Mike was wonderful! He came out & looked at the nail in our tire & thought it might actually be repairable. He said it was close & we should probably look at some options just in case since it was near the sidewall. Two other tire stores this morning looked at it and said it wasnt repairable & didnt even try to sell us a tire. At least Discount Tire thought there was hope. And they offered to rotate my tires for free. Currently sitting here waiting for them to take my van in for service & Im watching whats going on in the shop area. Im very impressed by what I see. Employees all look happy. They are helping each other out. There are huge overhead fans blowing to keep the employees cool. And there seems to be very good communication between employees & customers. I would highly recommend Discount Tire to anyone.

Fast, fair pricing and honest. Used them for years on tires, brakes and lifetime alignment (look for specials and coupons). Dont know about other locations but Ive had nothing but great service here. They honor their warranties and are knowledgeable and dont oversell.

I had a friendly and helpful sales representative walk me through my work. The staff also homered a discount for me which most places wouldn’t have honored. They installed my new tires quickly and they did it right the first time. I was impressed and if price is not an issue than I recommend you give this Firestone a chance.

Quick, courteous, and are far more likely than not to side with the customer when it comes to tire warranties.Their policy wont allow them to use customer supplies parts, so dont expect to save a buck or two this way. But that aside, theyve not failed me on anything yet and continue to have my business because of it.

We came in town for a visit and our car started acting up and it was super early in the morning. We found that firestone was open and brought it to them to check out. These guys were AMAZING! We left the car with them around 730 am and explored the area on foot. They had it fixed before noon! We had a great experience here.

Darryl is freaken awesome! Price match and he inform me that one of my rims was dented which was causing one of my tire to be off balance. He is all about the customers and goes beyond boundaries to make his customers happy. Im satisfied with my service and the trust remains my loyalty to Firestone!

I rate this place A+! I got a three day runaround from another tire place. No one had the OEM Firestones for my Jeep. One call late in the afternoon and Darryl got it right. He beat the other places sale price with price match and gave me the Firestone signature install and hazard package. Topped it off with free computerized alignment check. Got me in 15 minutes later and inside of 90 minutes I was on my way. Answered my questions and gave me peace of mind. I hope Darryls boss understands what a gem this guy is. He created a loyal customer with his efforts to make it right for me. And it was the tires I wanted. I will use them for service needs in the future and tell everyone I know that this is an honest mechanic.

I purchased new tires at Discount tire across the street from this store. Brought it to Firestone for alignment. They inspected the vehicle and said they could not do the alignment because it had worn parts. Gave me an estimate for $2,200.00. I took it to Mercades shop the next next day they said only needed ball joints everything else was in specifications. No problem getting alignment after that. Car feels good. Saved $1,800.00.

Not sure at all how this place even has a 3.9 rating as I write this. Its gross how they can look you in the eye, smile and shake your hand while theyre ripping you off. 1,200$ to have two out of four brakes and rotors put on(I expected the brakes on all four tires to be done) and oh, I found out after I left they still charged me for an alignment they said they couldnt complete. I took my car to AZ auto in Chula Vista to clean up firestones mess. P.s. they said they would have done the work for less than half that price ;) Fool me once. I could go back and complain but instead Ill post this review on Google and Yelp to foreworn other prospective suckers as Firestone would call you.

Had a great experience. Had issues with my back breaks and they were able to fix them for less quoted! Customer service was amazing. These guys (especially john at the front desk) did a great job.

1st time there, went in for an oil change. Came back a couple hours and they had forgotten about me or my vehicle. They made it right, And I was completely satisfied with the outcome.

Good service and knowledgeable staff, but their old printer really slowed down the processing of things. The staff knows it too, but Firestone Corporate does not seem to care to step into the 21st century.

Took 30 minutes just for someone to acknowledge i was in the store Saturday. Then said Id have to leave my two 15 inch tires there to get mounted. I went to Evans Tire and they did it in 10 minutes.

They were short staff but they managed to squeeze me in and got my tire repaired within an hour! Bravo!

Sheldon was my service advisor the last 2 times I visited the Firestone in Santee, CA. He was the most helpful and knowledgeable person I have had contact with there in over 10yrs. I was stranded, got a tow to Firestone, and from then, Sheldon took over the task trying to save me money and future problems with my car. I would HIGHLY recommend him and this location to many of my friends.

Let me start by saying that I am SUPREMELY Confident in Firestones ability to provide service. However, on my visit there last week, I found a little too much nickle and dime-ing. They charged me a small fee to clean corrosion off the Battery posts when that same work had been performed 3 months before and SEARS; when I purchased a new battery for my Infinity. I want Firestone to make a million bucks. But I dont want them to itemize each and every small item that MIGHT be necessary. Only repair the items that I approve. Firestone is an honest, trustworthy provider. I do not think they were Cheating me. I DO think they have a tendency to reach out a little too much fort a few extra dollars.

When I bought my car 3 years ago (2013 Ford Fusion SE Hybrid), I was sold by Firestone a lifetime alignment in Santee when I took it there for an oil change. This morning, I called Santee Firestone and asked do you have time for an alignment . I was told that there were no more appointments available but if I was willing to leave my car the entire day they would get the work done. I was told they would call me if the car was done sooner. I dropped off my car at noon, and took my 2 girls (11 and 5yrs old) across the street for lunch and do some shopping (we have 6 hours to kill). At 4:30 I received a call, I didnt have a chance to answer it (it only rang twice), no voice mail was left. We walked backed to Firestone. I got there and was told that they would not get to my car today. I asked, then why did you take my car in the first place? I have been walking around with my kids for 4 1/2 hours? His response was, I didnt know you were going to be walking around. So, if I had waited in your lobby you would have gotten to my car? There was a girl in the front lobby (got the feeling it was his girlfriend), less messing around and more focus on work - my car would have been completed. It is a front end alignment that shouldnt have take more than an hour TOPS, and if he didnt have time for it he (Chris) should have told me so on the phone. The Firestone in Fashion Valley, is a much farther drive from Alpine, but they are far more professional and dont lie. I will be filing a formal complete with Firestone corporate office as I was dealing with the store manager. THANKS FOR WASTING MY ENTIRE SUNDAY!

Another trip to Firestone, another warning light on my dash. For an oil change they reset my clock, trip counter and stereo settings. Guess they need to break cars to upsell services no one wanted. Now I get to troubleshoot what they did to my electrical system while changing my oil???

I will never take my cars to firestone agian. My jeep got stolen while I was on deployment. I got new wheels and tires and firestone replaced them, but my new wheels were thicker than my old wheels they neglected to replace the studs on my rotors so my 35 inch tires where only being held on by three threads. I lost a tire going down the interstate almost flipped my vehicle and all because there negligence.

Was told the day before that it would be in my best interest to make an appointment for an oil change. Ok no problem helps out everyone. Came back next day 15mins early and with a sick kid. Asked how long, he assured me it would be 30mins 45mins tops. Ok no problem. Took my daughter to get some medicine over at Vons. Took about 30mins. Noticed my car was never brought back. Long story short we waited 4 hours with an appointment. Next day thought my car was running rough took it into another place to have the oil checked. Yup! Yup! They never did the oil change! Do not go here! They cheat and lie!

Super rude kid at the front desk.I made an appointment based off their time schedule. Then, when I arrived at my scheduled appointment time, I was told I had to wait an hour to an hour and a half, just to get my car in the shop. Either unorganized scheduling or not clear communication on their part.

The guys are very friendly, but last time I was there to get new tires they didnt do an alignment which meant I had to come back again. Not sure why when they had my car for almost three hours.

I gave it a three because they charged me $30.00 to take a nail out of my tire and repair it. Other places charge nothing.
