Busy place but theyre great! Got a nail in my tire and they fixed it for free!! They also do free tire rotations and just $40 for a balance. Crazy busy yet they make time for all this free stuff. Thats superior service in my book. For quicker service, Id recommend making an apt, when possible. Thanks for getting me safely back on the roads Discount Tires!

Absolutely the worst experience I’ve ever had with discount tire, I’ve been using them for almost a decade and never had an issue until I used this location on mission gorge road in santee. My cousin took my truck in for me because I couldn’t get off work, when I got home I test drove it to find that I had steering wheel wobble…. I tried to get them to fix it as they charged me for a service they did not complete and they said I’d have to pay again…. I came back a few weeks later after I had gone to a different shop to get my wheel PROPERLY balanced to get a refund and they hassled me over that, eventually after going through three people I finally got the refund. Also, the shop I went to said they used the wrong type of weight “aluminum on a steel wheel” and the wheel was off balance by 2 ounces.Discount tire…. You just lost a customer and you’ll lose several others as I will be telling my friends and family.

Its nice that they honor a flat tire or a screw in your tire if youve gotten your tires from them but to get a screw out of your tire takes 3 hours. And if you make an appointment you would be 3 days later and even at that they tell you it would take an hour and a half with an appointment not to mention his demeanor changed after I told him I did not want to buy four new tires

Went to have “free tire pressure check”. When the technician starting asking for information like my phone number, I said I was in a hurry to get to a store that was closing. I asked if he could move the cone so I could get by, he ignored me and walked away. I called him back and he said he was not allowed. I’m disabled and had to back up to go around. Terrible customer service. Never had a problem going to Costco to check air pressure without being hassled.

Worst customer service! I know not every employee has bad customer service but the guy I talked to today did.I dropped off a flat tire to be repaired and never got a call it was ready for pickup so I had to call myself. When I asked if they would be able to put it on and switch out the spare the guy immediately got an attitude and was completely rude to me telling me they dont have time to switch out ONE tire and Id have to wait at least 4 hours. When I asked about the next day he said the same thing. I understand they are busy but the attitude was not necessary! I normally only go to the La Mesa store and needless to say I will never go back to the santee one.

Wait time is ridiculously long. Used after market weights on my tire balance and guess what they came off in exactly 4 months, just after the policy expired... wast off money if you ask me.

I like coming here early on a Saturday as its my only availability. Their early morning check-in process has evolved with a QR code which is very convenient. I took my Carmy and the Tesla and both finished extremely fast. The carmy had a tire rotation scheduled and the Tesla had a nail and was slowly leaking air. Overall extremely happy with the team and customer service.

Their check-in process is really easy and contactless. You scan a QR code when you arrive, enter a few fields of information, and then it tells you what number you are in line. You can even make an appointment online for faster service. The employees are all very friendly. I had a wonderful experience purchasing new tires. The manager Chris was absolutely amazing and very knowledgeable and friendly. I will always support this place because they do free rotations and flat fixes. My car is always ready in half the time that they tell me it will be. Fast and friendly service! Their safety protocols are on point. They even have you place your keys in a plastic bag and return them that way.

Great staff! Lots of solutions. They shared websites with me for the best place to get others things I need for my Sienna; and, they have water and coffee for while you wait. The service on my tire that had picked up a nail was perfect, and, my grandson got to play in the Hail out front! In Santee of all places!Then, when all was done, they brought my van to a safe place for me to load my precious cargo (grandson) and myself and we were safely on our way!P.S. BTW - I always bring my van by when there is a big change in the weather to their free, quick and electronically achieved air pressure check station for safety and best gas mileage!Great service, great place!

Faster than what I expected

Such a great company. Had a nail in my tire and Discount Tire in Santee was able to remove it, patch the tire, and have me on my way in under an hour. I will definitely come back if I have another tire issue.

This Santee location is very convient to the street access. The store is like new condition and all the staff to include the mechanics are very considerate and respectful here. If you need to get your air checked and fill they have a fixed location thats HIGHLY marked, you just say what you need its done without the need to get out your vehicle as a FREE service. The wait time in the morning for air check is about two minutes, yeah! My score is 10 out of 10.

Always on spot with the time and get the right product for your car. Been coming here for years and will continue. Their on line appointment system is great.

When I arrived I was greeted by Robert. He was friendly and personable. I had a lot of questions (like most tire shoppers do). Robert took his time, listened to what was important to me and then presented me with several excellent options. Robert took the time to show me comparisons on the top tire choices I selected. He showed my a great option for some tire insurance to help me stay comfortable that I made the correct purchase at the correct company. All anyone truly wants is to get a good valuable product and not to feel like we overpaid. Thank You again Robert, I appreciate your service.

As always such a great experience at Discount Tire. Tire blew out on the way into town on a set of tires purchased from another company. Dominic was very understanding of my situation and super helpful in getting me a great deal. Tire was replaced in 20 minutes. Very pleased!

I have always come to discount tire because their service is always great. This time I wasn’t shopping or anything I actually was looking for a cap for my wheel. Mike treated me like I was a buyer and ran around trying to help me out he was able to find me one and then caught me outside and gave me a number to a place where I’m headed now to pick up another one. That is outstanding service. I was worried they weren’t gonna help me because it was just a cap and I wasn’t buying anything. No way Mike and the rest of the crew were super busy but made me feel important and made my issue feel important great job Santee guys I will be back when my tires wear out!

I got a flat tire yesterday & called Discount Tire Santee to see if they were open. I was told they were open by appointment only. They told me if the Tow company couldn’t put the spare on, & needed to be towed, to have it towed there & they would fit me in! The spare was able to be put on & I called for an appointment today. Great service! I ended up getting 4 new tires & was in & out in 40 minutes! Thank you!

Discount tire in Santee fixed a leak in my tire in 15 minutes and didn’t charge anything! They are professional and provided the highest level of customer service I’ve experienced when dealing with tires. They’ve just gained a loyal customer. I’ll will go there next time I need new tires or tire service.

I called at 8:00 they had the tires but I had to get a tow truck to tow it and it was around 9:30 it took till 2:30 to get my car back out a real long wait plus my tires been slashed every month and I figure they feel pretty to help out I still paid 369 out the door and that was 54$ per tire

Okay, I started out with a problem with the store although they did finally make the effort to correct the situation. Thank you Dominick for all your efforts in getting everything done. You and Blake were always courteous, no matter what my frustration rate was. Mike, the Store Manager was courageous and courteous as well and finally stepped up to take care of the situation.

Friendly and Efficient Service! These guys are the GO TO tire shop in Santee. Ive been going here for years, with multiple vehicles, and unless they close Ill never go to another shop. The staff epitomizes customer service, they make the experience personal and give the impression that they want you there when most of us are still working on our morning coffee.

I go there to get my tires air checked when computer on car says need air. Of course I buy my tires there also. So I always give the guy $5 bucks for being out there in the heat.

First time at this location. They did a great job and were quick. I suggest either making an appointment or getting there by 730 as they get super busy quick however they do a great job at getting to you.

I made an appointment online. That was easy. I dont know anything about tires, so I came to Discount Tire because it was recommended by several of my single woman friends. True what they say, Discount Tire is very friendly and service-oriented. The salesman, Eddie, walked me through several brands of tires. We ended up comparing two brands on their computer program, and found out the cheaper ones suited my needs better. My tires were installed and balanced in about 45 minutes. In and out amazingly fast. After what I anticipated, the experience was practically painless. Even enjoyable. Thanks Discount Tire.

Picked up a screw in my rear tire while driving down the 94. Got to discount the next morning early. Carl helped me out. Very professional and friendly. Will be back soon to replace my 2 front tires. My bad, guess you need to rotate.

Prepare for a loooooong wait even with an appointment. They scheduled an appointment for me the next day without looking at my tires. I came in the next day early, THEN they tell me that a small spot on one tire is at the wear bar( which isnt I can clearly see it isnt) and that they cant touch it because its too low.... theyre lazy here, dont bother. Ive been to several other discount tires and they help me no matter what and show wayyyyy more hustle than these lazy guys. STAY AWAY

The customer service proved by the gentleman Eduardo was excellent, he was very respectful. The service was amazing they had told me it would take a approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes but my car was ready in 55 minutes. The waiting time in the lobby to be attended to can be a bit long but overall a great experience.

Worst customer service ever appointment was at 1215 I arrived and checked in at 1205. didnt take vehicle till 1405. Sat outside the entire time, bay manager swears he said my name three times. Argues with me & said he’s not going to argue with me, I heard Ann, sorrento and Kia. None of those are my name nor what I drive. They also claim to have no record of my prior purchase I have a receipt in my truck dated 1/16/17 for this very vehicle. I would give zero stars if I could they make it hard to support local businesses with their callousness. They also watched me back out on my own & called me Ann the entire time

Always receive great service at this location. The free air check is really convenient and the team always provides valuable information about my tires. For rotations or new fitment of wheels or tires I would recommend that you make an appointment to ensure that you can get in an out quickly. During our last visit we were dropping off our vehicle expecting the wait to take a few hoirs, but because of our appointment we were out before an hour.

I dropped off a tire after I got a flat on the freeway. They said it would be ready to pick up in the morning free of charge because it only needed a plug even though I did not buy the tire there(new car with stock tires). I came back the following morning to have them put it back on my car to find out they had not plugged the flat tire and I would have to wait an hour and a half. It was busy, so I was fine with that. I came back after wasting two hours walking around to find out that I was dropped down the list by all the appointments that were already scheduled, so it would be another hour and a half. Upset, I almost took the tire and left the shop, but was told they could make an appointment for 4 pm that same day to get me in and out. It was annoying to have to drive back there again on my spare, which I hate to use more than I have to. I received a call before my appointment saying the puncture hole was to large on the inside of the tire to repair. I almost lost it thinking that I wasted all that time doing this for nothing. Then comes the reason why I gave them 5 stars and will keep coming back: they told me they had a used tire in the same size that they would give to me free of charge for all the inconvenience . They also ensured me there would not be a long wait when I come back in. When I arrived, they showed me the hole in the inside of the tire and proceeded to put on a Michelin tire with 75% tread left. They could of easily tried to up sell me on a new tire, but chose to provide excellent customer service by making things right for the hours I wasted there. I took my tire back to see if it will be repairable at a small tire shop because it was less than a year old. Their tire repair service is free to all, so they technically did not owe me anything(you get what you pay for). In the end I would definitely go back there, but MAKE AN APPOINTMENT FIRST!

Got a flat tire late in the afternoon and called this place to see if they could help me put new tires within the next 2 hours. a very nice gentlemen named Austin said it would be no problem and took care of everything even though they were closing within the hour. I was in an out and it was a very smooth transaction. I felt like I didnt even get a flat tire! Thanks!Purchased 2 Arizonian 17 tires with sensors for $298 after taxes.

Long wait for walk in...but the guys did a good job.

This location is insane busy on a Saturday morning. By opening time I counted 23 people standing out front this morning. I arrived 45 minutes and put my name on the top of the wait list. I was out in under an hour with new tires. They were hosting a 4th of July promotion and I received a rebate form and submitted it online as they installed my tires. No problems.

These guys are the ABSOLUTE BEST at what they do. Some shops try to do it all, sell tires, do brakes, alignments however it seems as they never do anyone of them well. Its different here. They are the best at tires and they know it. If other work is needed to your car they always have an ethical, honest shop to get you into. I had Tire wear issues on my previous 2 sets of tires until Discount Tire Santee finally took care of me by recommending me to EAST COUNTY ALIGNMENT & BRAKE. They said my tires would get the manufacturer mileage out of the them if I did so. Sure enough East County took care of it and protected their investment on the tires. Mike is AMAZING. Thank you DISCOUNT! ALWAYS AMAZING and COST EFFECTIVE

This place NEVER honors its tire insurance policies. So dissatisfied that every time I go there to have my tires rotated, they find a problem with my tires, but its always the customers fault that a tire needs replacing?! Discount Tire is now the A typical retail establishment looking to make a few extra bucks at the expense of the customer, cause Corporate cares more about profits, than their loyal customers... Last time for me!

Not a very good experience for a walk in. I called to make an appointment then I was told just to come in. 10min when I arrived 3 people was in front of me. I went to rotate my tires. Ive been told that will take around 1 hour. 1h and 15min later. My car still parked outside with 2 other people in front of me. I requested my keys back and they politely ask 15min more. 15min pass and nothing was changed. So I ask my keys back and left. I called after 1 hour and I booked to the next day.Im not mad, still a good place compared with any other places, but you have to make an appointment. Do not walk in!!!! You will wait and wait.Discount tires do an amazing job, the main issue is communications between the front desk and coordinate back to the shop.Anyways, I hope that gets better with time.Oh... DO NOT GO to Pepboys, Just Dont. Management is so rude, you will wait and as bonus you will not get a good Service. Check the reviews on Yelp.

We got new tires from here and everything was fine until about 9 months later we had a tire blow. We took the tire back because it was under warranty, but Discount Tire claimed our alignment was bad so the tire wouldnt be covered under warranty because thats our fault. Fair enough, go to get an alignment done and our guy tells us there is nothing wrong with our alignment, we probably just got a bad tire from Discount Tire. Very disappointed with Discount, we are card holders and they still swindled us. Moral of the story, Costco may be more expensive, but they honor their warranty for tires.
