This is simply the best auto repair shop I have ever known in my entire life. The quality of work is simply superior. If I have any issues or trouble with my car, this is my go-to place. They are very prompt (probably one the fastest) in responding to customer inquiries. Their service is very reliable and honest. Due to the high quality and reliability of their work, the price is not the cheapest; however, having experienced all sorts of problems with multiple cars (past and current, and my family members), I just know that their service offers the highest value.I recommend this place to everyone.

Don’t know much about cars so when I found out I had an issue with my transmission I was not looking forward to the journey of fixing it. I looked online for repair shops near me and AAMCO popped up. They’ve been around forever. I can not express how comfortable I felt through the entire experience. Knowledgeable, Courteous, professional and patient. Explained everything to me, they repaired my transmission and stayed in touch with me through the process. I recommend AAMCO Santa Rosa for any car issues. I knew my truck was having transmission issues, but I wasnt sure what was wrong. They arranged to have my truck towed to their shop, where they diagnosed and fixed the problem. The service was fast and affordable. They definitely exceeded my expectations.

I did not know that they do everything and not just a transmission shop. I went there couple of weeks ago my friend referred me to them and I could not be happier. They took their time explaining to me what is going on with my car. They made sure they can get to the bottom of the problem before having me keep throwing money at it. They figured it and surprisingly with a very reasonable price, excellent customer service and great warranty I was on my way in a timely manner. I definitely would recommend them!

Came in there to check what is wrong with my Car they said the diagnose is free, they did a small visual check and got a code out of the computer that says transmission fluid is dirty also they said the transmission oil is smelling burned as bad and said they have to open the transmission for $300 to see what it is and most likely rebuild or new transmission.I asked why not try to change the transmission fluid they said it can make it worse... I thought that was odd and made no sense.I went to other shop got the transmission fluid replaced and it runs like new now!!Im pretty sure I saved $3000-$4000 for a new transmission I was about to get billed.$300 to diagnose it? But it says its free diagnose?I have been in service jobs for a while this was giving me all the red lights.If you say its free diagnose then its free.If a code comes out and quick google search says 90% its the transmission fluid cause it was never replaced then most likely that is what it is.Feels I was almost out $3000-$4000 for nothing.

I brought my car here to have the AC recharged. I was told it had a leak and would require over 700 dollars worth of repairs. I said nope, paid the 90 dollars for the inspection and left. Got a recommendation to go to PepBoys, took it in, no leak and my car was ready in 2 hours for 200 dollars. Ill be calling headquarters.

These days its still hard to find honest shops, who dont try to rip you off. The guys at AAMCO in Santa Rosa are the exception, and Ill always go to them first for any general repair or other work on my 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Others wanted over $500 for the job they finished fast for just $225. Keep the good work guys!

AAMCO is great! My 1998 Jeep Cherokee needed regular service & they gave me a great price, then completed service faster than I had been getting at Big O. I hate having to go to more than one mechanic. I just last year found out that AAMCO is a full-service garage, so I wont need to go elsewhere for any other car services!

I called and made an appointment at Aamco of Santa Rosa, they checked it for FREE explained to me in detail and all of my options. Got my transmission and they had it installed and done within 4 days. Their prices very reasonable, but the thing that sets these guys apart outside of great experience and professionalism is their kindness. After spending much time getting estimates for transmission work, an oil change, radiator flush, gas filter and spark plugs replaced, these guys by far have the best prices and were the nicest staff of all the places I called. They were extremely helpful and patient over the phone and at the shop.I am happy with the work and impressed by the staff. In the future I wont need to get estimates because I feel safe taking my car to Aamco. These guys had the best prices, 1/3 the cost some small shops gave me and just about 1/2 the price Ford quoted, and quality work.

AAMCO in Santa Rosa does not know what theyre doing. They told my daughter she needed a whole new transmission for thousands of dollars. We went to Roman Transmission (Excellent) and they told us she needed replace the transmission mounts. Roman fixed her car for under $900, and it runs fine. One last thing. AAMCO discovered that my daughter was missing her transmission dipstick - so they ordered a new one and said they would call me the next day. Its been over a week, and Im still waiting for that call.

They were amazing. I called them as my truck was over heating, they got the diagnostic called me back within an hour and ordered the parts. Not only were they efficient but they were expensive and the customer service was great.

These gentlemen are extremely honest when it comes to repairing vehicles. Its kind of funny getting an estimate for thousands of dollars and AAMCO repairs it for a couple of hundres (or less!). Theyre our permanent car repair dudes!

I live in S CA and was visiting family during the holidays and my check engine light came on and the car started acting funny. I took it in to some random shop in Santa Rosa and they quoted me for thousands of $$! I left and took it to this aamco and they were kind and accommodating even tho I was stressed. They looked into it as soon as they could, the was wasnt long, before they diagnosed my car. I walked away paying less than $600 and drove back home without a prob! Highly recommend coming here. The lady and the man behind the counter was super friendly and loved my dog! Great place and great service!

Amazing service, from the Moment I walked in I felt extremely tooken care of, the front desk guys were extremely nologable and the men who performed service on my car did an amazing job I got my car back a month ago and I couldnt be happier with what they did for me! I kept putting off service on my car for months and it became very unsafe for me to even be driving but the quotes I was receiving from pep boys, Meineke and a few others on santa rosa ave were about a 400-500 difference from what I walked away paying at aamco! I will be getting all my further services on my car here and highly recommended to others that care about there car to get there services done at aamco! Very satisfied!

I used to take my car for service to the dealership because it had extended warranty. So when my warranty was up, I was thinking where do I go from here??! I decided to look up some places nearby and this one popped up. I took a chance and made an appointment with them. The same day they were able to fix the issue and to make it even better the prices were very reasonable!! They were so kind, patient, sooo knowledgeable and were able to answer all of my questions. I especially loved all the motivational canvasses they have hanging on the wall. So now that I got my go to mechanic down. On to finding a great dentist! Like I told the general manager I would never recommend this place to anyone and I felt they were a rip off and did not do a good. Then after giving them an earful I get to my car and it is full of greasy hand-prints they didnt even clean up after their selves. I was extremely disappointed and felt let down after all these years of hearing their advertisement to Aamco. I would really have to think twice about having something positive to say about them. Even with them knowing how unsatisfied I was they offered no compensation in the effort to make me feel better like let me take and wash your car anything they did nothing to make me feel better about how unhappy I was with my experience there. When they are unwilling to do anything to make up for the terrible taste they leave in your mouth that says a lot about them as a whole.

The guys were awesome. They went above and beyond their duties, helping me with my taillights, and replacing them for free so I didnt have to drive in the dark without lights. Trustworthy, friendly, and astute.

My mother took her car to Aamco to do a check up thinking her transmission needs work. They kept the car all day with no word on the car. when we called to see if they had news about the car, the man stated he had been at lunch and will need more time to check the car, which I understand. Hours later they came back with a quote for a new transmission which we is more then the car is worth. So we decided to not fix the car. Upon pick up they were very rude saying too bad you dont want this new transmission, your making a mistake and continued to be rude to my mother which ended up making her cry. Not happy with the customer service.

Friendly staff and I was unaware before my first visit that they did more than transmission work as that is what I was looking to get checked. In addition, my car had started running rough the night before and found out there that I had a blown head gasket. They did the work quickly, at a fair price and helped me with financing a portion of it. I trust them and will go back.

It was a pleasant experience considering I needed a new transmission. It was toast and I knew it. I babied it for years.aamco was fast, clean, and prompt. An excellent warranty, and very friendly. Would recommend them to anyone.

They do not stand behind their work. They performed $1000 worth of work on my van, including installation of A/C and Alternator belt. After only 700 miles of driving, the belt came loose. I was too far away from any AAMCO location to have it fixed there, so I had it towed to another garage and they tightened the belt. In addition to the tow, it cost me $50 to have the belt tightened. I sent documentation to the Santa Rosa location, but they would not reimburse me, even though the original work was warranteed for 12 months or 12,000 miles! I even called the corporate headquarters and they said they could not help me. I will never take a car to an AAMCO location

I went to santa rosa transmission and car car they told me i needed a hole new transmission i had a bad feeling i did not so AAMCO towed my car to them and found out it only needed a small part ! Aamco came through in the clutch like Curry from the 3, down 2 with 1 sec on the clock. Couldnt be happier with the customer service from this establishment, great management and total transperacy can be expected day in and day out by Marjan. I would highly recommend to those in the boonies like myself north of Rosa, or other nor bay commuters looking for honest hard working mechanics and employees.

Awesome place, truley professional. I brought my 2008 VW Rabbit that to AAMCO santa rosa for 110k service. They were really helpful, updated me, and were able to get parts and replacement that I wanted same day. Great place.

Dont like this place! They were supposed to do a deeper so called diagnosis on my vehicle and call me back yesterday, I never got a call back so I called them they stated they hadnt done it yet. I continued asking question about things apparently got put on speaker phone and had a mechanic inthe background start talking over the lady that I was talking with. I felt that this was kinda unnessary to put me on speaker phone without being told i was on speaker phone and had a hot head mechanic go on and on in such a way. In the past I brought my car in here had them do a diagnosis on my vehicle. They told me I had work that needed to be done on my vehicles fuel system. I asked if it could of been my gas cap? They stated no, requesting to get a full tank of gas to run this special test on my vehicle so I left doing so, I was to bring it back the next day and well long story short when I got to the gas station I found out my gas cap was unscrewed. After tightening my gas cap problem solved. I should of learned from my first experience with them not know anything n almost causing me to pay for something I never needed. I will be at there facility to pick my car up before they open so I can tell them not to run ant test on my car. I dont recomend these guys at all unless you want to be screwed.
