Both me and my daughter visited the shop for the first time to purchase school uniform. The manager there was brilliant and very helpful. Very friendly. His demeanor was above and beyond. Therefore I would highly recommend this shop to others, as youll not be disappointed.

My voucher code for free delivery didnt work while ordering online, so had to pickup in person. Order pickup was quick, but its a hard time to get them over phone. Tried 2-3 days and then someone picked up.

Queues at peak times really need sorting out - beware opting for click & collect unless you have an hour to stand around! Pricey too but I suppose that’s just uniform. Wish the school offered other options.

The customer service is fantastic. In addition we felt welcome with amazing prices. Also High quality clothing. We would love to visit again.

They never answer the phone. Whats the point of having a telephone line but never it doesnt work !!

I recently purchased a school jumper from them, unfortunately the quality of the jumper was terrible. After just a few wears the jumper started to bubble up. The Embroidery on the jumper which was done at their premises for some reason (it’s usually done very professionally and of a high standard else were) was also very shoddy, bad quality and of a very poor standard. The threading on the embroidery is literally coming out all over the place.Im very disappointed and unhappy with the service I received. I went back to the shop to voice and show my concerns but was asked to send them an email with my complaint as there was nothing they could do, which by the way I’ve received no response to. SHOCKING!

The cheap prices reflect the cheap quality of the product, very small shop in comparison to school uniform shops in South London. Bought jumper for Harris. Very very bad quality, have you used reliable and ethical factories when sourcing uniforms? Wish I could give zero!!!!!

I went to Wearabouts today with my Daughter, to buy uniform for her new Secondary school. I was really impressed by the efficient way we were served. Due to Covid 19 we had to queue outside for a while because they had to limit the number of customers in the store at one time. Once inside, a very helpful and friendly member of staff let my Daughter try some items on and managed to work out the sizes of all she needed with expert knowledge and got it all together in no time at all!It made the whole experience so much easier than I had thought it would be, a real bonus!Fantastic service, will definitely recommend to others!

The staff were particularly friendly, polite and efficient and the quality of the uniform from Wearabouts is noticeably better than uniform I have bought previously from another uniform shop for my son. I ordered my sons uniform online and went in to collect today. Due to Covid-19 i had to queue outside as only a few could be admitted into the shop at a time. I was super impressed with how efficient, polite and professional the staff were. They even took the time to print a couple of sports t-shirts (excellent quality) for my son while I waited as they had run out of my sons size, the Man at the till and the lovely young Black lady that assisted me were really lovely and super professional with excellent customer service.I would 100% recommend this store. Lovely customer service! Went in greeted by an assistant whom helped all the way through for the full uniform without the high pressure of buying the most expensive stuff! Even helped with when unsure of sizing and encouraged trying everything on without rushing and really took their time. Check out was smooth even though we had two transactions. Really happy and HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Obviously busy at this time of year visited on Saturday 5th September. Booked an appointment online so didnt have to queue just told them I was there and pretty much went straight in. Girl that served us was very helpful in insuring we had all the right sizes and was very knowledgeable about the uniform needed. A lady was kicking up a fuss and moaning about queuing while we were then taking photos within the shop moaning that things werent priced up, but you could see how busy they were trying to serve everybody and have a system in these difficult times. Im sure on a usual basis things are priced but they had racks and racks of stock. People should be respectful and await their turn basically! Staff remained very professional and asked the lady to leave, which was very appropriate considering the shop had children inside. Glad i did an appointment was in and out in 20 minutes. Seemed cheaper than Bromley Schoolwear too where we went for our year 7 uniform.

I visited your shop to buy my oldest son first uniforms yesterday. I trusted the customer service to pick the most suitable pieces and spent a lot of money to have everything for this year. When I arrived home I realised that one of the shirt from a package of 2 was missing. I returned to the shop this afternoon to ask for the missing shirt or the refund. I didnt get a refund, but I was asked to pay and share the cost of a new one. It was a very bad customer service. I wouldnt recommend the place to anyone.

I dont suppose anyone likes spending money on school uniform but the Wearabouts staff are organized, helpful and knowledgeable. Ive been a customer for seven years so far (eek!) and Ive just been in for Forest Hill Boys and Sydenham Girls uniform. I got the entire Year 7 uniform and new Year 9 uniform in 40 minutes, including using the changing room.Their prices are about right for the quality of the clothes and they have lots of sizes in stock. There is no hard sell, they know the entire school uniform down to sock colour for every school and Im glad to have the option to buy it all in one place but I never buy their shoes and Im not made to feel obligated.Im glad to see they now have an enormous fan as it used to get unbearably hot in summer.

I bought 2 jumpers from wearabout unfortunately I didnt need them, I brought them back in pristine condition, I paid by card so was refunded back onto my card, I was told that if anything goes wrong with the payment it is nothing to do with them and to contact my bank, this was 2 weeks ago and guess what I havent received my payment, it sounds to me as if you knew that this would happen or is it a coincidence, I dont think so, I will be contacting my bank tomorrow, I have my receipt thank goodness so 1 way or another I will get my money back.

Very quiet school shop on Sydenham high street near Barclays bank. There are free parking spaces outside but these are used frequently. Failing this there is a lidls car park but you have to buy something in Lidls or you will get a ticket. Inside the shop you can buy sports wear, shoes, bags, socks, coats, tights and school uniforms. Just a suggestion to perhaps have a female also working there as young girls will feel more comfortable. Consider full length curtains on changing room doors as the current set up is not entirely appropriate. Assistant was helpful and knew the pieces my daughter needed. Quick and efficient. They accept card as well as cash.

I pay £2000 for four children’s clothing a year or two but they don’t take back the clothing. I don’t recommend this place.

Its unfortunate but the regular store assistant (whom I beieve is the manager - sydenham branch) is quite unapproachable, straight or stone faced and tends to have an attitude as if hes doing you a favour which is bothersome to him. Prices are certainly no less than any other school clothing shop Ive ever purchased from.There are two stars instead of one because I saw the above man almost smile when I was in there once and very nearly come close to relaxing from being so darned uptight! He was on the brink as I smiled at him and held eye contact awaiting him to be human. A good bedside manner makes a big difference in customer service. Someone PLEASE tell him!Until then, I thoroughly dislike having to go into this store.
