I shopped at their De Vargas location throughout the 90s and early 2000s. Yesterday I needed a vaporizer while my fancy one was being replaced. I didnt want a bad one and was willing to buy the Pax to tide me over. The employee saved me $100 and pointed me to a very high quality, lower-cost unit. The same great service remains.

Was my first time in today. Great customers service and super friendly! This is what I look for and they delivered. Not to mention a great selection with a proper humidor set up. Other cigar shops I went to had dry crispy sticks. This place is great. Would fully recommend!

A fine selection of quality cigars, pipes and pipe tobaccos as well as many other tobacco and smoking related products. Very knowledgeable owner and staff. Store is well maintained and the many items for sale are well displayed. Prices are reasonable. Also some nice hats and walking sticks for those so inclined. Overall, a pleasant and up to date tobacconist. Parking is adequate and access is easy off and on to Cerrillos Road. Location is good and easy to find for out of town visitors. Mike is a very easy going guy that will do his best to meet your smoking needs. Oh yeah...great candy selection too.

Great revitalization of a classic tobacco shop. New owner brought in lots of new products (grooming, chocolates, e-cigarettes etc) but managed to keep good selection of pipes and pipe tobacco. Nice store will visit again when back in Santa-Fe.

They had what I was looking for. And some items were on sale. Pick up a$2 cigar,and a cap. Cigar boxes were on sale also hurry in if you want some. Not many left. Very nice people.

Stag Tobacconist is a local gem. You dont have to be a tobacco afcianado to discover something unusual and amazing. My last visit, it was Santa Fe Mills all natural hand-milled soaps. What a find! I think theres over 20 varieties, and my new-found goal is to try them all. (Buy four bars and the fifth is free!)The customer service is always great, and the place has the feel of a neighborhood hang-out. I highly recommend them.

I recently stopped smoking cigarettes. Its hard to find someone who has knowledge of the best way to get through the withdrawal and be successful in achieving my goal. The stag is so knowledgeable, they have organic products and know so much about all of the e liquid that they carry. I always see Catherine. She great at being my coach to help me with my goal. Of all the smoke shops this is the best of them. They carry a lot of great items besides vaping products.

Very Enjoyable!Though I dont particularly smoke that often, mostly in times of high stress, I visited Stag with a friend of mine on Saturday, at around 3 in the afternoon, and found the store to be one of the best experiences Ive had shopping in a while. My friend, who is a seasoned cigar man, picked out a few choice stogies and we spent the latter half of the afternoon playing checkers and having a relaxing time! Will I go back to Stag Tobacconist? Yes!

Stag Tobacconist is the best tobacco shop in the entire state. Huge variety of fresh tobaccos with cuts for pipe and cigarette rolling. The staff is off the charts good. They know their stuff and they are helpful. The shop has tons of stuff. A great place to look for specialty items like custom canes or chess boards. Im not a cigar smoker but they seem to have a quality selection. These guys are the cats pajamas, stop here even if you dont smoke.

I am a smoker and while I was interested in vaping to help me quit smoking, the typical vape shop (head shop) environment wasnt appealing to me. I went in Stag just to look around and was pleasantly surprised to find an inviting relaxing atmosphere. This store has an extensive line of vaping equipment and liquids as well as high end board games, hats, canes, gourmet chocolates, and of course a large selection of cigars. Mike, (I think the owner) helped me select a vape device and vape liquid to suite my needs. I was impressed with his knowledge. I am visiting Santa Fe, however he informed me I can have my liquids mailed to me from the store with just a phone call!!
