Definitely 5 stars!! My 2003 Toyota Celica GT needed a new engine because something about the rod, it had leaks and basically wasn’t safe to drive anymore. Jonathan was the person who helped me and was super helpful, friendly and answered all of my annoying questions haha! Everything went smooth. They replaced my 1ZZ engine with the exact same motor. And if you guys wanna know, they took 2 weeks. I wasn’t in a rush since I had a backup car. But my celica drives better and smoother than ever. Very happy with Jonathan’s service and his team for doing a good job! MUST bring your car here if it needs a new engine! I highly recommend this place! Thanks a lot guys!

I purchased a JDM EZ30 Subaru H6 motor from JDM WestCoast, INC recently and I want to reflect what a great experience I had. Purchasing a motor online can be a scary task as any motor can look great in a picture but its always hard to know what youre actually getting. I asked a ton of questions prior to buying the motor and I found that the staff was very helpful in addressing any of my concerns and reassuring me that the motor was in great condition. The price including shipping and residential delivery was a fantastic deal. In addition they used R & L Carriers to ship the motor which was an excellent company to deal with. The motor came just as pictured and described.I went through the motor before install to replace gaskets and other wear items. I was blown away at how low mileage the motor was and how clean it was. The install went without problem and there were only some minor parts that needed adjustments or replacing during the install. The motor fired up without issue and runs flawless. Start to finish my experience with JDM WestCoast INC. was phenomenal. I would highly recommend doing business with these folks and I will surely be looking here again for my next JDM swap. Dont trust them, dont waste your time and money, dont have them install the engine for you, they will break every single clip on your engine, fuel injectors clips and coil clips along with others, I repair my car myself so I know they were fine. They told me the Acura engine will fit my accord to make me pay $300 extra, I doubted it and they guarantee it will work and even proudly say they are the only place knows how to make them compatible, gave it a try since they have good reviews, one and a half month later got my car back, stalled on freeway twice and 3 times on the street due to the engine was not compatible, lucky there was no accident, they were blaming the gas, spark plug, fuel pump and told me go to the shop to get a full diagnosis, I asked them to pay for the diagnosis fee if there is nothing wrong besides the engine but they disagreed, I checked the fuel pressure myself and sent them videos to prove, spent so much time to deal with them and they finally asked me to drop off the car again and admitted they were wrong 1 month after, I went to their warehouse more than 10 times in 3 months since day one, they told me 1 month warranty left when I got my car back with the regular engine and refused to honor the 3 months warranty but they had my car most of time in the past 3 months, also refused to refund the extra I paid for the acura engine.Update 6/10: They contact me and ask me to remove the reviews by paying me $300 and still believe the Acura engine work with Accord but couldnt explain why my car hesitate and stalled so many times, burn out 3 sets of spark plugs, even told me they were doing me a favor without charging me the labor for installed the correct accord engine, Jesus Christ!!    Forgot to mention, they installed burns out spark plugs in the engine when I got the car back and the it burns 1qt of oil every 3k miles, DO NOT TRUST THEM.

Worst customer service ever. we called looking for a non vtec engine for civic 03, and they shipped us a vtec engine. now they say they cant do anything about it. we trusted their company and words, and we cannot get a refund for it.

A bad experience with an engine for Toyota Camry measured that the warranty was for 3 months and then when I went to the first week they measured that the warranty did not cover me according to hey because the radiator was bad and I already used it in the end I ended up paying $ 3000 just for fault of heyos I only recommend
