Nothing personal against Salvador he was very nice and personable.He had the gears I needed .my bull gear and most of my gear train was ruined and he was able to find them and sold them to me at a great price However someone dropped the ball bad when I brought my engine head in for rebuilding. They had it for over 2 weeks my cam had not been touched even though it was inspected they did give me a cash discount on bothe the head and the cam however if the cam would have been resurfaced as i intended I would have saved a lot more my injectors were pulled but not labeled in reference to the cylinder position they pertain I now have to pay an additional amount to have them reprogrammed to the ECM upon unwrapping the head a broken roller was logged inside an oraface. Terrible mistake to not have caught that .I strongly feel a machine shop at the very least should be precise. I sent photographs of the broken roller and left a message 2 days ago and as of yet I have not had a phone call back . I hope this becomes a message to all be careful who you do business with because once you have paid customer satisfaction goes out the window

Good service and efficient

Ive been getting my diesel engine parts here at Vargas diesel for about 10 years its a pretty awesome place its an older building its big you dont have a lot of parking in and you probably have to park on the street but thats not a problem when they load your parts you pull into the alley and they load you up at their back door. It is family owned and family run it seems like they all get along very well and Sal the father when he asked for them to do something they do not hesitate and I also take notice of how clean their vehicles are and how clean the floor is and things like that and these people are very classy and very clean. however they do get pretty busy in the afternoon so you just have to be a little patient they really give one-on-one service and I like that and they always return your calls . Have a great day that was my experience I hope yours is the same.

We are very disappointed with them. We bought a Caterpillar engine head that was cracked. We asked for a return or an exchange for the damage engine head and never got the warranted honored. So now we are stuck with a cracked engine head and out of $3600.00 dollars.
