This place is clean the meat 🍖 counter is Wonderful I have never had a negative experience there, the butchers there are so polite and accommodating! The Sea Food is always plentiful. The aged Ribeye and Tomahawk Steaks are absolutely delicious!!

Crazy long checkout lines 80% of the time. Prices seem over inflated compared to other grocery stores in the area. The parking lot can be a nightmare. The exterior has really gone down hill. They need to do some serious power washing and maintenance.If parking in the large underground lot, usually two of the four elevators are broken or just not running. They all usually smell gross. There stairs are quite a distance away.

Havent met a nice or caring manager at this store yet! They are rude and when you need something they act as if you are bothering them! I LOVE Ralphs but I literally shop in Oxnard when I go visit because this Ralphs management SUCKS! They need an attitude adjustment

Deli hot food is like you pick up left over garbage they need to cook it correctly not over cook which is a problem old dried out chicken. This store continues to disappoint me.Ive gone to this store for years and every time I go there its disappointing.Today (Saturday at 10a.m.) they have dollies items that are in the isles. They are just sitting there.Why arent they being stocked at night like they use to here.Instead you customers have to move them to get to something you want.Theyve got sweeping going on and Im watching customers throughout the store have to dodge and move their carts so that the sweeping can take place.What really finished it for me was when a worker was allowed to get in front of all of us waiting to check out. Really?I sky know if the same manager is here but clearly something needs to change.I will be going to Goleta to shop

I have been going to this store for 6 years and I really get more frustrated every time I go in this store . They have a good selection but thats about it. Service has declined over the years, sometimes its really bad, and I wouldnt recommend any of the cooked food in the deli. Not diggin it.

Im sorry to say it but this place has really gone downhill and is one of my least favorite places to shop now, especially because of how dirty it is and poorly set up during the pandemic. Its impossible to distance from people with how they have the lines set up. No one seems to care about distancing or keeping things even remotely clean. When you come in and go to grab a basket, they are often filthy and full of trash. I mentioned this to an employee and they didnt care at all. I have had a bad experience almost every time I have tried to go there in the past few months during the pandemic.

Dear Ralphs you once carried the delicious Vermont curry in all spice levels in all your stores in the Santa Barbara area. Once you stop having that item in stock at one location, I traveled to your other location. Now it seems you stopped stocking this delicious curry. All you have is S&B Gold curry. Nobody likes S&B Gold curry. The only reason it sells is because people like me go to your fine store to buy Vermont Curry at any spice level, only to find somebody in the ordering department didnt place an order. I encourage Ralphs to look at the sales. Aint nobody buying S&B Gold Curry. I beg you Ralphs stores in the Santa Barbara area bring back Vermont Curry.

We are out of town and came here to get some stuff for our dinners and breakfast.I dont have any complains.There is plenty of parking spots.The food that they have already prepared is good.And the cashier that helped us was very fast.Overall a good experience

I love this market. It offers everything I need and then some and that is saying a lot considering I am wheat and gluten free and I try to adhere to a vegan diet. The store is clean, well organized, well stocked, and the staff members are friendly and warmly helpful. Glad I have my loyalty card, saved me even more money.

Very poor Starbucks experience within the store. A Coffee Traveler Container was ordered, but the time of day was the opposite of what I asked for. This is the 3rd!!! time this has happened at this Starbucks!!! When I asked if the clerks could make a pot of coffee immediately one female clerk said it would take 30 minutes. Not true! A Traveler Container was ready in 10 minutes the last time this happened. Poor attitude, not apologetic.I asked for the Starbucks Manager and the Ralph’s Store Manager there at the time said that there is no Starbucks Store Manager, which means the Ralph’s Managers are the Starbucks Managers as well. There is a lack of thoroughness and follow through.The Ralph’s Manager said he would speak to the Starbucks employees and he gave me a $10 gift card after I asked for one. I bought two boxes of Keurig coffee cups, but I had to spend valuable work time making 15 cups of coffee!The management system there needs to change. I will not go back to that Starbucks unless there is a substantial improvement. Ralph’s needs to address this as well.

Tom Ross, the manager, prefers to remain incognito. Asked him his last name a few months ago. Tom informed me, You dont need it. After a recent, less than satisfactory, experience with Tom re spoiled ice cream, I can understand his desire for anonymity. However, would someone please tell him his name is on the bottom of every cash register receipt?

The Ralphs on Carrillo. Produce selection great. Reasonable prices and good deals. Aisles always stocked. Cashiers work quickly and diligently. The meat department however is unkind and not helpful. Seeming too busy talking about boyfriends and girlfriends Saturday morning with a coworker that should be stalking shelves. Advise to management, be considerate to a customer when it would take someone five seconds to properly help. Note: Not one to listen to other peoples conversations but talking so loud one cant help but overhear, despite circumstances its where customers shop and workers get paid to do their job.

Most of the time they are well stocked w/produce. Only caveat; shopping during peak times (4:30-7:00) or on Sundays. Aside from that, I always have a great experience😀.

I like this Ralph’s because they have a wide variety of merchandise and you can pretty much find anything your looking for here, they also have a pharmacy and the wait times to get your Medicine filled isn’t too long, usually the wait times are between fifteen - twenty minutes, there is also plenty of parking with an elevator that takes you from the parking level to the store level.

Very well stocked, large supermarket with deli. Theres a large open patio outside. Parking is plentiful, with upper lots by Chapala and more spaces in basement with elevator & stairs available to ground floor. Also car accessible from De la Vina St.

Just your standard grocery store. They do have a descent salad bar and food bar for those quick stops when you just need a bite. I do really like that they have a make your own six-pack option in the beer isle, full of great craft beers to select from. Just a great idea.

The upper parking lot is a nightmare but they have a lower lot thats easier to park in. The store layout is awesome. I was in and out of there no problem no confusion.

Yesterday I would have rated 5 but dont go to the delli dept and ask for mayo packets or condiments or you will be asked to provide a receipt for sandwiches because if you are poor and cant afford overpriced in the store you are considered as beneath them! I have spent a lot of money in this store 600 dollars in less than two weeks and I got treated like a lesser person!

The produce section is not the best. I dont think I have ever found a ripe avocado there. The lines are always ridiculously long. So dont go there after 5 if you just need to pick up something quick. The selection is alright as far as items to buy, but definitely not the most diverse offering of products.

The only downfall to this Ralphs location is the parking/elevators. Other than that, the staff is super friendly and helpful, and the store is clean and well stocked. I never have a bad experience here...once I actually get to the store, that is!

I hate writing bad reviews, however Google keeps pushing me to write something. I found this store to be frustrating, maybe its just my timing. But I tried to get some quick pre-made sandwiches, and they did not have any mustard or mayonnaise available for them. Then I decided to get some soup, after walking around the store and asking somebody where the utensils are I was told that they were all out of them. I also walked through the entire beer and wine section expecting to end up in the alcohol. Which I did not find ........its at the very front of the store after the registers. Which does not make any sense.I am probably one most easy-going, and understandable customers. When it comes to grocery shopping experiences. However I dont think Ill ever go back to the store.

The pharmacy isnt rude all the time, sometimes they can be helpful. The meat department is very knowledgeable as the cashiers and other employees I usually can find everything I need. Dislike buying an advaco only to find its rotten inside. The management is always pleasant.

As many times I go to grocery stores This Ralphs on Carrillo St. Grocery store on Thanksgiving week was hectic not only with parking but the staff was horrible, unpleasant, atrocious! They were more irritated than the actual customers. That is sad because I usually shop alone and this time carried my kids with me. Every Ralphs employees had something rude to say to my 5 & 6 yr. old when all they tried to do was help me put stuff in the cart. It is Thanksgiving week, its all about family!

This is our go-to grocery in Santa Barbara. Well stocked, clean, large variety. Part of the Kroger chain. Ample parking. There is a large parking garage under the store.

Ralphs on carillo is awsome. There is an underground parking lot with an elevator or stairs if you would like. The place is massive way bigger then my home store vons in the mesa. I still love my little vons on cliff drive!

I always come to Ralphs due to their variety of products, their fresh produce and the parking is never a hassle in the bottom floor.

Other supermarkets may be cooler and more aesthetically pleasing but none has the range of stuff that Ralphs has and quality is great. I know Im going to find what I need, unlike TJs. Just make sure you have a card. Seems like they overcharge and use the card to bring prices down to a sensible level.

Its a grocery store, they have decent prices. A tip, use the underground parking lot under the store. Dont bother with the ground level parking. Always full of ideots.

Options are limited downtown and its nice to have a full sized grocery. Theres ample parking with a number of spaces available below the store.

March 12 at around 2pm, in Ralph with an employee by the name of Patty. Her excuse for her attitude with me was that she’s doing a lot and is also managing the other employees. Which has nothing to do with a customer. As a loyal customer, I shouldn’t have to experience that with an employee. Her behavior and her excuse for it was UNACCEPTABLE! And I hope that this is dealt with.

Update Thursday May 17th, 2018Overall Improvement, management listening to suggestions.The staff is amazing. Always greeted with a friendly hello. Everything is a bit pricy, but if you look for the specials and shop mindfully you come out winning. Remember to bring your Ralphs card or provide your phone number when checking out for the discounts. It can be quite a price difference!

It serves its purpose of being a store that has most groceries you need. Most employees are friendly and helpful. Lines are usually pretty short. But prices are pretty high. The newer manager has asked my elderly neighbor to leave her seat outside the store while waiting for her cab ride home (thinking she was a homeless person) and has accused her of stealing OTC stomach meds by opening each individual packet and replacing each of them with Tic Tacs. Blown away by his arrogance and attitude toward a woman, an RN, who has shopped in that store for 30+ years. (No, she no longer will shop there as long as that man is the manager there.) Not the kind of place I want to shop at, either. Also, their attitude toward their lovely underground handicapped parking spots sucks. You are as likely to find several carts in the handicapped parking spaces as an empty spot to park. Doesnt seem very handicapped-friendly....

Good Starbucks drinks

This is the crown jewel of grocery stores in the SB area. It has lots of free parking, a rarity in SB, deli, bakery, seafood counter and much more.

It was very good! Had every thing I needed. It has Boars Head products as well.

Watch the ads...its a Fresh Faire so prices are higher than normal ralphs for no reason. The bum slalom at their outdoor seating area makes shopping with kids a challenge.

The checker was very slow!! People were lining up and he ztoos to take cookies to eat, very poor!! And bis hyviene was poor.
