Whats a surprise after long term relationship with this dealership (from sales,services and parts). At first my acquaintance told me about the sky rock service prices after recently ownership changed. Cut the story short, how much is the oil change for the 2010 Lexus RX350...from san diego to oxard (lexus dealerships range from $110-$150) ....tires rotation---$25-40 with the oil change service or only $50...We all want to support the locally businesses but the prices for the oil change at this dealership is $195 and tires rotation $88. We all want to be fair for the community and looking forward the long term relationship. We dont expect the discount from the high price.....we all want the fair price.Toyota of Santa Barbara does offer Lexus maintenance for a fair price. Ask for Justin or Todd

Sam Tokhi is the BEST!!! He handled virtually everything needed to promote a smooth transaction digitally, which was a considerable convenience for me. (For those of you digitally challenged, Sam can also do the same old school.) My wife and I leased our Lexus and WE KNOW that we were taken care of in the utmost customer-friendly fashion. This is a fantastic, HOME TOWN sales department. We all need to really consider buying local. Also a shout out to the others in the sales staff that assisted us - Robin and Mark. When our Lexus RX 330 effectively died on the rack (at least that is what I call the prescribed $14,000 in repairs, which we are still trying to sort out with our local dealership), while we were visiting from out of state, we went on line and found a pre-owed L/Certified NX. We felt we were professionally and fairly treated by the sales department, especially sales agent Abby Gaetz, used car manager Kegan Long and sales manager James Porter. Though we had to wait for some minor body work, we were set off in a loaner until the paint was dry. Because I had kidded Kegan and James about the lack of croissant we usually find in our Santa Fe store, when we went to seal the deal, he had a bag of two fresh chocolate croissant from Renauds. That is what I call service.

I bought a used Lexus and the operation was slick and smooth. I traded two used cars. Michel C gets 5 stars. One vehicle had to be retrieved from home and my wife had to sign as we were jointly on the title. Michel came and took the documentation promising to mail my copy of the Vehicle Transfer and Reassignment Form. I waited and nothing came. I followed up with Michel and he said he would chase the Finance Office for it. Then I went in personally and Michel said I could wait for the Finance Manager or he would make sure it was mailed to me. I said, Guaranteed? He exclaimed Guaranteed. I followed up again and this time copied the General manager, Kevin. Michel responded, but nothing from Management or Finance. So they get 1 star each. And still I wait for the document .... Very, very disappointing.Follow up two weeks later:I still do not have the missing document.As per invitation, I tried calling Steve H at the number he gave me. It was for the Service Department and I was told You have the wrong number. So I explained I was calling at the invitation of the Owner. I got through to a answering machine of a someone called Diane. (I may have this name wrong). I left a detailed message and waited 3 days. I called again and on being transferred, got disconnected. I tried a third time and have not heard back. Question for Steve: You want to connect with me, you have my phone number on record. Why dont YOU connect with me?Today.James sorted this out in a matter of hours. Thank you. I am a fan

No sense of urgency. In fact, it seemed as though they had better things to do. Maybe if I was there to buy an LS 500, I would have been treated differently..I was basically told to take a hike and check with my own credit union, so I can come back with my own financing. Not sure if that was a sales manager or the finance guy. I suppose it doesnt really matter.Salesman was pleasant. Ill give him four stars.

I was very happy with my experience. I did my car-buying homework ahead of time and associates responded appropriately, treating our negotiating respectfully (which, sadly, is not always the case for women dealing with auto salesmen). They were friendly and polite as well.One recommendation to all car dealerships: keep on hand both iPhone and Android cables for demos and tutoring on linking the smartphone, in case the potential buyer or new owner did not bring one or brought one that fails. The latter happened to me. In my case, a staff member had a cable that we could borrow, but the little bit of delay (in no way a deal breaker, but still...) made me think of this idea to ensure great service.I would go back to this dealership.

Third time taking my car here for Service made an appointment really doesnt seem to make a difference if you have one. I was told it would take an hour and a half for an oil change and tire rotation and it took them three hours. And u understand the car wash is complimentary but if your gonna do a poor job doing it I rather not have it done. Hopefully everyone else has better experience while visiting.

They were not able to take of my repair because of an issue outside of their control, and Derek clearly communicated the situation and proposed a solution. He also suggested an option to save me money, which is not an expectation at a dealership. You come across so many dishonest dealerships, my experience was only positive.

Staff were helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. Customer lounge had comfy seating, but it would be easier to hear tv or read if the waiting area was partitioned off from the shop and cashier desk. Service done as planned in a timely manner.

I LOVE my new Lexus RX 350 L.We were able to make use of the 7 seating feature, which could never have been possible without my old Lexus RX 350.It is complicated for me to use GPS on my phone and drive at the same time. The built-in GPS system makes life SO much easier. I can find restaurants or food places without much effort. I just need to choose a place, and the GPS tells me a list of locations based on how close they are. Then I tap it while driving and it instantly gives me directions! Amazing!Compared to my 2009 Lexus, there is a HUGE difference. It feels more spacious and comfortable.One of my most favorite features is the trunk automatically opens with the remote. I never need to pull up the trunk manually ever again.Overall, the new technology makes life easier, it feels like there is more space for passengers, and the color is simply beautiful.

Thanx Yahya who sold me the car and didnt hesitate answering any of my concerns about making my decision. Thanks to James Porter and Alex Ayyoub who helped seal the deal. And cant forget Sam in finance who took care of all the paper work. All in all, nice homey feeling from this dealership. Brought my kids and nephews with me, and no one said a thing about them eating all the snacks or drinking all the complementary beverages in the waiting area or a when they were checking out all the showroom cars(hand smudges all over the place). My LS 460 is 11 years old, 10 years of that period was in Boston. The wear and tear from snow, salt and countless trips thru blizzards caused expensive damages and subsequent repairs. I just had my vehicle serviced here and they were prompt, professional and friendly. They provide a complimentary wash and inspected my vehicle to make sure everything is working properly. They ensured that my car was in tip top shape and safe to drive especially with the rain season here. My service consultant kept me updated on the work that was taking place on my car every step of the way. I had tires replaced along with windshield wipers and an oil change. My car drives smoother, like new!They have complimentary snacks and an amazing espresso machine with various selections along with a comfortable wait lounge. Dannys my service guy and hes awesome. i will generously share him with you.but at this point, I would give this place a rating above excellent if I could.something punctured my tire on the freeway yesterday, at 6.30. i happened to be close to the DCH exit and managed to get there. they were basically closed, just 2 people getting their things together to leave. one of them was a mechanic, and he identified the problem, then put my spare on for me. just to help out. I was in the market for a certain truck, found a listing online and looked at said listing for about 10-15 days until I finally decided to contact DCH Lexus of Santa Barbara about the truck.I was responded to within a day. Need more people here . Before I bought my car in Perry Ford from Walter Alfaro men, customer service is the best they are there for you to greet and help you . In Lexus they hiding and tell they busy doing client. Im lost at first when I went there then when they fix the problem my car they forgot one thing. Bad if not for my bf car I wont go there

My husband and I recently purchased a pre-owned 4 runner at this dealership. We had been searching from county to county for a great 4 runner but saw Santa Barbara Lexus had one in every aspect of what we were looking for as far as color, third row, fully loaded and leather. However the car had more miles than we had originally wanted but other than that it was perfect. I gave them a call to check the availability and spoke with an Aaron Vazquez. Buying a car can be tedious. Like many people, I dread the thought of it. I recently visited the Lexus dealership in Beverly Hills where I was used and abused. I will NEVER go there ever again. I decided to go up to Santa Barbara and try the Lexus dealership there. BEST EXPERIENCE I EVER HAD BUYING A CAR!It started when I met Mr. Bishop in the service department. Things kept getting better and better when we met the sales manager, James Porter. Bending over backwards to makes the deal we requested, he was fair and cooperative. We recently came in to look at the Lexus RX 350. We had a 2016 Cadillac that we were not happy with and had decided to change to a SUV. We had a SUV Lexus several years ago so we had experience to go with. After meeting with a sales person, Abby, and a sales manager, Alex, we arrived at a good trade-in price plus a reasonable new car price so it made the trade possible. They did have a problem with the car we selected so they would not let us take that car, but got an exact similar car the next day which we closed on. They handled everything fast and properly and to our complete satisfaction. Happy to be back into a Lexus and with this dealership.
