Annie Ds is one of the BEST spots in Midway for SOUL FOOD! I had fish w/ cheese grits for breakfast. Its made to order and sooooo good. I called my order in so when I get there is done and ready to go. The fish is Swai/Basa or you can get Talapia, fried & seasoned to perfection. The grits are creamy with the cheese melted on top. Now, they usually put wax paper on top of the grits so your fish wont get soggy when its sitting on them, but I ask for no paper. I dont want to scrape my cheese off the paper and the fish stayed crispy without it. I didnt need to add any salt or pepper or any other condiments for that matter. You receive a lot of food for an awesome price, especially for the quality of the food. For a meal, you spend less than you would at a fast food restaurant and its homemade! Not only great food is sold here, your fav old school and new school snacks & drinks are sold here too. The staff is friendly and professional. They are following Covid-19 guidelines, you must wear a mask and social distance yourself while in the store. As you can see they have my vote on many levels! Thank you Annie Ds for great service and even better food! Support black owned businesses.
