First time here, they happily greet you at the door to have a seat. Food was really good and service was great. As I travel through here about twice a month. I know I’ll be back to try more selections. The Catfish was excellent and everything we had was delicious. Huge variety of food to choose from.
It was good, had the Ruben sandwich. Tasty sandwich. Some places make them soggy and to much sauce. It was perfect. Eaten there a few times and it has been good so far. If you like orange juice dont get the small cup it was one drink.
I had the Fried bologna burger with baked potato salad and it was great! My hubby had the 8 oz ribeye with fried okra and sweet potato casserole. He ordered the steak med-well and it was more on the well done side but he said it was still good. Great atmosphere and we can’t wait to go back! Waitress was very nice and we didn’t wait for a table on a Saturday at lunch time!
My son and I decided to stop at this little diner for lunch. We were greeted as soon as we walked in the door. Staff were very friendly and helpful. A nice variety of menu items with breakfast served all day. They also have daily specials. Service was fast and food delicious! Our waitress was kind, attentive and gracious with us as we had quite a few questions. Highly recommend this place!

This is a hidden gem. The service is wonderful, the employees are extremely friendly and the food was wonderful. Plus you get more than enough for what you pay. I highly recommend it.
Ive always enjoyed the food here! Love the pork chops or the turkey and dressing. The sides are good home cooking. Sandwiches and breakfast foods are great also.

My wife and I are from the Charleston South Carolina area. We were near the area visiting family and decided to go to Tramway Diner for lunch. We got the Big Daves Burger, The Beef Tips and the Open Face Turkey meals. The burgers were huge and meals had plenty to eat. The food was phenomenal. The price point was excellent. The people were extremely nice. We WILL be back.
This was our first time at theTramway diner and we were excited. “We” are my husband, my 1.5 year old child, and myself around 3 pm (was not busy there). Our waitress, who did not introduce yourself, was very grumpy and obviously, did not want to be there. She was also watching her child, who was there with her. It’s totally understandable to have a child while you are at work due to circumstances, but it should not impact someone’s attitude towards the customers. After placing our order, our waitress disappeared. We needed some napkins, straws, etc. but the waitress was never at the table again. We saw her going outside to smoke, so we asked some other girls for stuff. During our very short communication with her, she did not say hi, did not ask if we needed a child chair, was not polite, nothing. Other girls were very helpful because we asked them for them. We are very unhappy with the service.
Small portions on one small plate. After awhile everything tastes the same. Very bland food.
First time eating here and it was crazy great. I got the Hungry Man. 3 eggs 2 slices of bacon and sausage wit grits, hash browns and 2 mini pancakes that were not mini at all. I’m stuffed. I will definitely be returning!!!

This place has been a family favorite for longer than I can remember. The most impressive aspect is how the staff have treated my dad as his dementia has advanced. Now that he cant communicate, they see him and sweetly tell him they will have his order right out without handing a menu or asking what he wants. The first time it happened, I could not control the tears. What a beautiful example of what real community looks like. They will have my business until they no longer exist or I dont. The food was good, I was there at about 11am on a Sunday so the place was bustling but my order came out in fair time.The hashbrowns were a bit mushy, so that was a bit of a letdown.The rest of the food was great though, service was good and my waitress was very prompt on drinks: would dine there again for sure.
My husband, who is a WWII vet, and I go at least once a week. He usually eats breakfast.My favorites are the chicken parm, fish andgrilled shrimp. Everything I have eaten there has been very good. The wait staff are very friendly.

Good old fashioned home style cooking. Nice selection of vegetables. Each night of the week they have lunch/ dinner special. Everyone is friendly and they keep the restaurant area clean. There are booths/ tables or bar to sit at.

Good Basic Southern Diner.Less costly and better selection than Dairy Bar. Coffee is best early as it goes more to rough jet fuel as the day goes by and the pots/filters may not be as clean. Their Hungry Man Breakfast is Great, their Sausage Gravy is probably the best on.the area though the biscuits themselves are a touch heavy on the gut. I love they have Liver Pudding, service is fast, theyre nearly always packed (Other people know a good deal) Try the Kitchen Sink omelet if you need filling, and weekends are gonna be tough getting in and out fast, get in early on Sunday if you want to avoid the church crowd. Probably the best sot down breakfast youll get in Lee County along with Mrs Wengers (But convenience and time open recommends Tramway...)

Usually pretty good. However, we recently ordered a burger that was too pink inside (3/4 of meat was pink). I dont mind burgers on the rare side, but this a too raw for comfort. They also didnt ask for the preference of doneness

Me and my husband went there. Waited awhile the waitress seemed to have a attitude slammed silverware on table as if me and my husband did something to her. Waited on people who came in after us this is the second time this happened and it is the last time cause we will not be back.
Its a nice local joint to eat at, it serves most southern style comfort food, and serves breakfast all day. The foods is usually great, and if personally recommend the Hobo Samich (which is how they actually spell it, not kidding), which is actually a breakfast sandwich, but works just as well any other time of the day. The quality of the the food was EXCEPTIONAL fo a Diner. The Service was Wonderful. The Sanitation was Excellent. We stopped here early in the morning returning from the airport in Raleigh. My wife was very pleased with her Omelette. The bacon and sausage links had a good flavor. It was more food then we were to eat. We will stop in again soon.

WELL WELL WELL what a wonderful place hidden. The food is amazing and it came out hot. Our waitress was super friendly. Christine was her name. Our coffee was constantly filled with a smile. As you walk in the first thing you notice is the clean, happy atmosphere. The bathrooms were very clean and smelled clean also. Do yourself a favor and go there! You will not be disappointed and tell Christine I said hello. She really was a gem. We will be going back even though it was quite a drive for us.

Delicious food and excellent service. I love that they serve breakfast all day. I was able to get eggs, bacon, grits and a biscuit at 5 pm. Large selection of yummy veggies, daily specials and a variety of desserts. Definitely a great stop for travelers and a favorite for locals.

Just a great place to be and eat
A great diner. I have had breakfast multiple times and I am never disappointed. I love the options and the value. You can easily get a full breakfast with tip for less than $20. I will say I love the feel of the place. I am from NJ and its a state full of diners. This reminds me of home. I love the biscuits and gravy. It makes me happy to have moved south. I usually get a sampling of all different items and there is nothing I dislike. The only thing that could be better would be the scrambled eggs and they still taste great. If you want a quick, reasonable priced breakfast that tastes great this is the place for you.

Good for what this is. Typical Lexington style BBQ. I personally do not like that type of BBQ. But everything was good. Super friendly staff, very well priced. Clean and nice family atmosphere.

This is a gem. My husband made a mistake with his order and when we were going to order something else they did it so kindly and would not charge us for our mistake. Service outstanding. The food was awesome. My flounder was one of the best I have had. They definitely have us as returning when we are in the area.
There are few options for quality food in the area, I eat at Tramway Diner regularly and the food is always banging. Other nearby places can be good but most are often hit or miss. The staff at the diner are so awesome and friendly. They dont treat you like a customer, they treat you like a friend. If youve never eaten here, please try it. Its the kinda place youll wanna visit regularly!
Great BLT, fried squash, gravy biscuit, chicken tenders french toast & pancakes. Was there for lunch this time, its usually dinner time. It was pretty busy, but we didnt have to wait long at all for our food & there were 6 of us. Waitress was very nice & friendly.

The breakfast here was so yummy. I didnt even get to take a picture. I had the French toast with fresh bananas and whip cream, scrambled eggs, turkey sausage, and grits. The OJ was very fresh. It was just the best diner breakfast Ive had. When were out this way we will certainly always stop here. Oh! And the customer service was on point😍.
