We purchased a Honda Fit (used) for my mother-in-law a few years ago. It fits her perfectly (no pun intended). She loves her red Fit and she took a shine to the salesman Ollie. Ollie is now the service manager, last week she took her car in for service. As always, she was pleased with the way that the staff treated her and her car. This place is great, especially Ollie!

After multiple bad experiences at another Honda dealership, I recently went to Sanford Honda for a weird noise in my engine. Brandon was my service manager and took good care of my Pilot. He had great communication, went to bat for me when the initial diagnosis and repair didnt solve the problem and came up with a better solution than the technicians gave him. I truly appreciated his hard work and great customer service. Even with the extra travel time and trips back and forth, I had a better experience here than any other dealership to date. Ill be back with my Honda!

Mrs. Susan is a very sweet lady she treated us like we were no strangers, her and Ozzie made sure they did not stop until they got us in the car we wanted, no pressure at all. Thank y’all so much! Shady business practices here. The sales man was supposed to run our credit for car loan, however my credit monitoring service notified me that my credit was submitted for mortgage. I was appalled. We were approved through one of their banks, however they will not disclose who, because we are not interested in the car they tried to put us in. I called spoke with manager, then spoke with DC in finance office who said he would look into it and call me back and never did.Its OK I will never visit this dealer again. Unprofessional. Thought Id warn others to stay clear. Ive already contacted the authorities regarding their shady business practices. It should be illegal to submit app for mortgage when I applied for car loan. Then they refuse to tell you who you are approved through. Bad business.

!!!Edit!!! Gotta give it to the new manager there. Trying to make things right with the place. Called me after my last visit, and review, to ask what can be improved and what he was going to do to make it right. Just because of him reaching out I have to give him 4 stars. Well see what the future holds. Olie, good luck making it better than it was.Terrible service. Time and time again from the oil changes to true maintenance on your vehicle you will spend no less than 2 hours waiting. They feel because they are the only Honda dealer within 30 miles they can do as they please. They need more technicians and a bigger work area to handle the volume of cars that come in. I do not suggest using their service department for anything. And their sales are just looking for numbers. If youre not going to buy today or tomorrow they lack interest.

Pathetic Customer Service !!!These people are very unresponsive.I tried to work with them for a price match that I was getting at another dealership and their sales team was very unprofessional and kept me waiting for 3 days . Every time I made an attempt to contact them, they would tell me that they will work with their managers and give me a call but they never got back.If you do not want to work with a customer please give them a direct No /answer instead of wasting their time .

Ask for service advisor Anthony Taylor. Had to bring my van in for a check up after running over a dead deer that cleared the truck in front of us but my van didn’t have the clearance. We had some damage that Anthony had fixed up for us quickly. I have been going to Sanford in Honda for a few years now and highly recommend Sanford Honda for your service needs. Very professional and willing to go the extra mile to take care of its customers. I am not sure what Honda is paying him but it’s not enough. Thank you Anthony!

Dishonest scammers! How’s the saying go? “The proof is in the pudding!” Look at this agreement. The numbers don’t add up, do they?When I tried to take the papers with me, I was told I couldn’t by Susan the saleswoman. Seriously? Why? Because it shows you are cons!I also point blank asked if the window tint that is written in the add-on section is included in the “selling price” which she told me it was so either she doesn’t understand her own offer sheet or was lying.There is Christian music blaring in the showroom and Bibles and other scripture artwork strategically placed for everyone to see, but it’s all a big sham and it’s disgusting that they practice business in the manner they do.Next stop... BBB!!!

I think that when you have an awesome service experience you let others know. This was my experience at Sanford Honda. I don’t even have a Honda, but, an Acura. They were so nice on the phone about trying to help and then went I went into their Service Department, I was so impressed with the helpfulness of their associates. I was in and out quick, had all my issues resolved...AND, when I left I was told “Thank you” for coming into their location! I would highly recommend them!

I am sorry to say my experience with this dealership was poor. My daughter wanted to buy a vehicle I told the salesman what we would like to pay and see what he can come up with. Never got me a price little did he know I would have gone much higher than what I told him . But he didnt care. Never offered a test drive . I sold cars in my life and I would have been fired for the service he offered. Maybe because we wanted to pay cash or maybe because we were female. Dont know but unfortunately we will buy out of town.

Very pleasant and stress free experience. I did my research, they beat the offer of the other dealers, and the financing department was easy to deal with. I think as long as you are prepared and know what you want to do, you will have a pretty simple and relaxed experience. Amanda and Jessica are very pleasant to deal with. Ozzie, the finance guy, is a pretty relatable guy as well. Based on my experience with the mentioned people, I would definitely buy from them again.

Called to check availability of car listed online. Confirmed they had the car and setup an appointment to test drive. When I arrived the sales person I talked to on the phone was not at the store, and they would not work with me, made me wait for him to arrive.When he arrived 30 minutes latter he told me that they did not have the car I made the appointment to test drive. Said it was a mistake on the internet, but he had confirmed it was there when I called? Could he not see what they have on their lot? Felt like a bait and switch. Against my better judgement I did look at another car and work with them on it. Near the end of the negotiations, they handed me a sheet of paper to sign with a list of numbers for price of car, trade-in value, and my add ons. The way the numbers were listed it did not have the actual price I was paying for the car, so I added up the numbers. The numbers added up to $300 off, in their favor. When I questioned they said the car had a $299 window tint, that I had to pay for, non-negotiable. It was not listed in the list of numbers, however, it was in fine print at the bottom of the page. Not a good business practice. I did not purchase the car, this is not a reputable, honest dealership.

The air conditioning in my 2015 Honda Accord went out and was only blowing hot air. I took my car to this Honda service station for a diagnostic test. I was charged 50.00 for the test, which was fine because I just needed my air fixed. After they took my car back and did whatever they did I was taken aside and told that my car needed a new compressor and that the fix would cost me somewhere around 2,300.00. I was distraught because truthfully I just couldn’t see myself paying so much money for air conditioning maintenance. I called my mom in tears! She then recommended the gentlemen that work on her car. I took it to them to look at. After being under the hood for roughly an hour they informed me that the Honda dealership was incorrect in their diagnosis. There was a small cut in one of my AC lines. These gentlemen replaced that line only costing me 297.00 and my air works better than ever! This dealership nearly cost me two grand of unnecessary money!

Awesome experience! This was my first time buying a car from a major dealership and I couldn’t have picked a better place! The process was easier than I thought and fairly quickly. Michele was extremely helpful, kind, and honest; she made me feel at ease throughout the whole process. The finance manager Tim was very thorough and detailed explaining my options and very patient and kind. All my questions and concerns were addressed and I didn’t feel pressured at all or rushed out. I had disconnected my battery in my 2010 Van. I could not reconnect the radio using the manual and code, Brian Taylor in the maintenance department had it done in 10 minutes. He found the real code. I had been using the code from my other Honda. Thanks Brian, good job.

Jerrod has been my amazing salesman since I bought my first Honda Pilot, I’m on my 3rd now. He is patient, caring and very knowledgeable about the Pilot. I purchased a Van on July 29th 2020 I called today to ask where my title was? Well I was told Wells Fargo has a lien on the vehicle and they are working on it. No one ever informed us and they probably would have never informed me if I didnt call. That is fraud I need a title or they need to return the van for a full refund.Now 2 weeks later no response from the dealership no title.

We bought our honda odyssey last year and was promised free car washes. Every time we call we are told they are not doing car washes at this time. On top of that I waited with 2 toddlers 2 hours for an scheduled oil change. We had a great experience buying it but the service department is struggling. Im thinking hiring someone just for car washes is worth doing, your losing more business because of it Im sure.

It took two and a half hours for an oil change and tire rotation. I understand getting busy but if youre going to schedule people, schedule accordingly. I received a Sanford Honda Rewards card when we picked our vehicle in November 2018 that came with a letter stating it had a balance of $200, but Ive only used it twice and it only had $100. I had even called last week to check the balance of the card, was insured it was $100 (I stated my case for otherwise), and still had to pay $50+ out of pocket. I wont be going back.

I had a horrible experience today at this dealership, after scheduling an 8:30 appointment a week in advance & being given a quote for service....I was treated rudely & with total disregard towards my time as a paying customer. I was then charged more than double the quote I was given, with a simple oh, they were just wrong.. I didnt expect to be treated in such a distasteful manor, nor did I appreciate it. Its safe to say I will NOT be visiting there again. Possibly advising my colleagues to do the same....

We drove to Sanford from Durham after finding a used car we liked online. When we got there Jerrod was waiting outside for us and had the car pulled up in the shade to get us out of the heat! He was very nice and friendly and not pushy at all. He let us take the car out for a test drive without him riding with us. Which was nice to be able to do. After test driving the original car we came for we decided to test drive another vehicle. Jerrod was fast with getting us the keys and wasnt wasting time or making big sales speeches. I so appreciate him being quick, friendly, and easy to deal with. The dealership was nice and clean and had christian music playing which I loved. Overall we had a really good experience with nothing bad at all to say. Would definitely recommend this place!!!

I purchased a vehicle about 6 weeks ago and had good service and a fair price. However, today when I called ahead for my inclusive lifetime car washes, I informed them I had an appointment 2 hours later. I was told I would be in and out and would be able to make my appointment. I waited an hour and 20 minutes for a car wash. I informed a sales person I needed to leave for my appointment, she went to see if my car was finished. She brought my car around that was still covered in mud and told me they were never able to get to it. I should have been informed way ahead of time that they were delayed and I would have been fine with that instead of wasting over an hour of my time. It’s 4 days before Christmas, just like everyone else I have lots to do. I would rather pay someone or wash it myself instead of go back here for a wash. No wonder why it’s “free”. But my time however is not. Honor your commitments to your customers.

The people are very nice, but their sales process isnt.The good:1. They allowed us to test drive a vehicle without a salesperson.2. If we had agreed upon terms for the vehicle, they were going to let me drive it out of town to a mechanic I trusted overnight to get a pre-purchase inspection, which was above and beyond.3. Employees had a very positive attitude, and despite the issues that I had, I didnt find anyone there to be anything other than good-natured.The bad:1. It honestly felt like nobody there had any idea what they were doing. It was like it was the entire staffs first day.2. I tried to schedule an appointment online the day before to come do a test drive, but never heard anything from anyone. I show up and ask to see the car I was interested in, and the employees all respond like a deer in headlights.3. Halfway through the process of looking over the car, a new salesperson takes over and insists that he had tried to reach me several times. Not only did I have no record of those calls, voicemails, or emails, but then he didnt either?4. After the test drive, we talked numbers, and the negotiation process was... um... bad. They laid out their price, I made an offer. Salesperson went to talk to the boss, then came back with the same number 15 minutes later. This happened 3 more times. Not one counter offer, just the same thing over and over. One time he even brought a printout of their price vs competitors prices for similar cars to support not budging, and the sheet had multiple cars that proposed a better value (certification, lower mileage)!5. After the boss came by to tell me in person that they couldnt negotiate on their prices (then why the back and forth???), I thanked them for their time, and told them I just wasnt interested at that price point. I met my family in the lobby, got our stuff together, and started to leave. The salesperson then came back to where we were, said goodbye to everyone, and then stopped me and asked me one last time if I could move on my proposed price. I told him I was disappointed that he didnt once counter offer, so he jokingly offered 5% of what I had proposed be taken off. Just before leaving, I told him the highest amount Id be willing to pay (splitting the difference), effectively negotiating with myself. One final time, he said he would talk to his boss. 2 minutes later, the boss walked by me and said Goodbye!, and the salesperson said to have a goodnight. So, an abrupt end to a pointless experience.Very long story short, if you dont like to haggle, Sanford Hondas a pretty good place to go because theyre sure as heck not going to negotiate with you.

When you go for a Computer analysis and transmission fluid change a customer shouldnt have to Wait 2 to 3 hrs for this simple work to be done. Then have to go check on your own ride to discover they just letting it set and doing nothing to my vehicle...was 1130 getting out out there, The young lady was nice but she was informing everyone else about their vehicle..and seen to over look mine,until I had to stop her to ask about mine. I did ask that they treat my car like it was some of the new vehicles coming in.... The only thing positive is that they have good price on transmission fluid and the change.

I was highly disappointed with my experience today. When I purchased my Honda here, I received excellent service and the promise that I would get a free oil change and car wash. Well, I guess they just wanted my money.An oil change took over 2 hours, even with my appointment ( Ive never spent more than 1 hour at the Raleigh dealership). After the long wait, they returned my car dirty without any apologies or explanations.I drove around to the carwash area and asked them why they didnt wash my car as advertised. The guy there just answered that he was the only one working today and that they were not able to wash clients cars.Really? They didnt tell me that they would wash my car ONLY if they had more than one person working I was told that it came standard with the oil change.Free oil change or not, Im sticking with the Raleigh dealership. I dont have time to wait 2 1/2 hours on an oil change.

Sanford Honda had the best deal on a brand new Honda Pilot and their Internet sales manager was responsive with my questions and negotiations. It was an easy decision to work with the dealership. The vehicle was washed and ready to go when we arrived, and we were greeted outside by their on-site sales rep. We were in and out of the dealership within an hour. No pressure on sales or financing transaction. Very professional.It was worth the drive to get to Sanford and work with them.

He was not pushy, I felt he was very honest and took as much time as we needed to make us feel comfortable and excited about not only the SUV we choose but the price we bought it at. The atmosphere at the Dealer Ship was very positive and the music that was playing in the background if you were stressed in any way seem to comfort you. Sometimes buying a new car can be stressful but the way the Salesman and the Financial Officer Tim Foushee handle themselves just melted your stress away. A GREAT experience from beginning to end.

I made an appointment for my oil change and tire rotation and arrived on time. I got out of the car and this super nice service man tells me one hour and showed me where I can wait with my baby. We waited an hour and then this other guy came up to us and started talking about my car and I said great- is it almost ready? He said that it wasn’t and had not even been taken in yet, and should be another 45 minutes to an hour. After a total of over two hours it was finally done. People were nice, so that is why it isn’t one star, but I don’t appreciate being lied to twice- especially at the cost of my baby’s well being. The service advisor said to the person in front of me, “We will always do what it takes to make it right.” Nothing was done or offered to make things right for me and my baby. Apparently that is not always true. We were told that we can cross this busy road to go get something to eat while we wait for them to get their act together. (On a side note we were quoted $220 for my husband’s car’s spark plugs that he bought for about $40.) Do not plan on going back here to service or to buy a car because a nice smiling face that tells you a tale or two, has still told you a tale.

I lost my keys in the river and the closest Honda place was in Sanford. I called ahead, set everything up with Fernando, the service advisor. I let him know my vehicle was in tow to his dealership. When I showed up they already had my keys cut and programmed for me. I was very pleased with my experience at this dealership. Thank you to the staff at Sanford Honda. I would recommend this place.

Mr. Stacey Cheek was so helpful when I purchased a vehicle through Sanford Select. I had so many problems with that vehicle and felt as if I had loaner cars more than I did my own car at times, but after a few visits the service department must have got it right because the year or so after my last visit, my car ran beautifully and I had no problems whatsoever. Unfortunately it did catch on fire last November on my way to work with no known cause. I wish I was still in NC because I would have gladly gave Sanford Honda my business again, but I moved to SC. Today, I had a most wonderful experience having my car serviced at Sanford Honda. I was checked in by Daniel, and everything from there went uphill. He was most personable, determined what I needed to have done, and the cost was very reasonable. Another thing is that the facility is impeccably clean and it is an inviting place to wait on ones vehicle.

Very happy with the buying process at Sanford Honda. My sales rep, Jerrod, was knowledgeable, relaxed, and very helpful. Was not overly pushy at all (something I dread in car salesman). He worked with us through the process of letting us discover the car that would work for us (a 2015 CRV EX - a fantastic car). Reached a great deal on the price, plus they offer free oil change and car wash for life for new car purchases, which is pretty awesome. Very happy and would recommend to others.
