I like his place the women that work here are nice and know where most things are and if they have or not and I love Asian women

I will never shop here again. Black people need to start taking their business elsewhere when the service is not up to pare. These types of businesses exploit and make millions off of black magic but dont treat us like humans. I wont be back. Buy black owed.

They had a nice selection of products and mini sizes for trials. I didnt experience anyone following me. As a black woman I experience that frequently so I usually look for that when I shop at new places.They just directed me to aisles and kept doing what they were doing. Custom service was fine. Pricing was a tad bit on the high side but nothing outrageous.Nothing outstanding about this place. They just had what I needed.

Wonderful beauty supply store. Products that I couldnt find they have in stock. The staff was helpful and very friendly. They didnt act like you were a bother or going to steal from them. They are knowledgeable, young and nice. Definitely worth the drive for me.

They have everything and I mean everything. The store is clean, organized and youre very likely to find what you came in there for. They could probably use a little more help because the store is large. There were only two people to help services store and one of them was the cashier. So when I stay in the area next time I would go back.

I was in the store shopping and a woman comes to the door and asks to enter with no mask. The owner tells her she can come in and shop if she covers her mouth w her hand. I dropped my items and walked right out. It’s the disregard for safety during a pandemic for me.

Great beauty supply! Great customer service!Very friendly and knowledgeable workers. Great selection and fairly cheaper than most other beauty supplies in the area. I asked both people working different questions and both were happy to assist me. They literally had smiles on their faces the entire time I was there. This will be my go beauty supply...and I live 35 minutes away!

I have gone to Hair Town Beauty several times before without any incidents, so it only made sense that I would return. However, this last visit I left empty handed. I was greeted like every other time, however after walking down the aisle to look at the different textures of packaged hair, I noticed the lady behind the counter was staring a hole through me. I decided to continue shopping and looked up a few seconds later and again all eyes were on me. I quickly placed everything back in its correct location and walked towards the exit. She asked as I was almost at the door can I help you, I politely said no maam and left. I was so disappointed in my visit and will not return. Do they have a large selection? Yes, however the constant staring left a bad taste in my mouth. My money will be spend at a different beauty and hair supply store in future. Hair Town Beauty definitely lost a paying customer today.

They definitely racially profile in that store. The owner is nice when he feels like it. Great selection but I will not be back due to their lack of customer service skills.

I buy my hair and supplies from here all the time. the quality is great, the employees are nice and helpful. Its a beauty supply store I truly enjoy going to. Their selection is really vast and they dont try to force you into buying anything, and allow you to walk around and really make a decision.

My sister and I have visited this beauty supply store a handful of times within the past month. During our visit yesterday, the owner followed us around even though weve always checked out and PURCHASED every item weve taken off the shelves. She was so concerned with following us (because she thought we would steal) that another customer (who I assume she followed around as well) asked us for help in order to find a product. She was so fixated on following us around that she neglected her duties as a business owner. My sister and I left after helping the woman and we will never be back. Stop trying to profit from black culture if youre just going criminalize black people. Were never stepping foot in there again, and I advise others to find a different beauty supply store.

I always find the products I like and the staff are so helpful! This is always my go to beauty supply.

The prices were a little higher and the store was too crowded. Perhaps if the layout was different or not so many products it would make for a better experience but I felt closed in.

I don’t want to give even a single star.I went to this store with my 3 years old daughter today . As I stepped in, a lady started following us . my daughter was excited and talking to me regarding shopping cart etc in her normal tone which may be little bit in higher side to others . The lady who was following us, screamed at my daughter saying ‘stop shouting’. I was surprised to see such kinda behavior with my kid . When I asked her what made her shout at a 3 year old kid . She is her normal self. she advised me I should ask my daughter to stop shouting as this is their store and they don’t allow this kinda behavior . I mean she is a kid what if she doesn’t listen to me. I mean She could have told me politely. I could have left with no issues.I went there couple of times before this incident but after such a rude behavior with my kid I will never return for sure.. I’m so upset that my daughter has to go through this for not doing anything. I won’t recommend this store to anyone who is expecting to be treated well as customer.

The owners wife is so RUDE. I was purchasing items and ask for a nose ring at the register. Picked one out and assumed she put it in the bag with the rest of my items. Left the store and didn’t see the nose ring. Returned to the store to explain and the first thing the lady says is “oh let’s check the cameras.” That is not how you treat paying customers. The fake ring was $2.99!!!! Accusing people of stealing should not be your first reaction. I will not be returning here and DO NOT recommend this place. Save your money and shop elsewhere.

Very satisfied with the customer service of wig lady, and satisfied with my hair pieces I purchased.

Stopped here today after i couldnt find parking at the other place. Very nice people, they just chill and let you browse. I left some items behind that i intended to buy. They brought them out to the car to me in the rain and took the few $$ cash i had for the purchase even though it cost much more.. just so i wouldnt have to come back inside. he went out of his way. That made my day.

This store has litterely everything I need. The only caveat is dealing with the guy at the register - - sometimes he acts like an arrogant jerk! The ladies there are really nice and helpful so, I tend to avoid the guy and look for them.

Came way from the other side of town, got there at 6:20pm and they were closed. Its a Sunday. The sign on the door read that they dont close until 6:30pm on Sundays. If youre not going to go by the hrs that you post then take that bullshit down.

Bad experience! The first and last time I went in, the owner and his wife (guess) were kind of hateful I was just walking through the aisle with my 1 year old baby and suddenly the owner was telling me from the cashier side that my baby was mixing the items and 2 seconds later the woman was bringing me a shopping car to seat my baby and keep shopping and I didnt take her car for sure! And I just told them He is just 1 year and sorry but I can not keep shopping. I wont recommend this store to anyone! This is not the best wat to get customers 👎👎👎👎

I wish I could give negative 5 stars. Cristy who works in the wig aisle is extremely racist. The worst customer service ever. If you are african american I strongly urge you not to purchase from this store. They take our money and treat us as if we are beneath them. When I asked who the owner was they refused to tell me. We really need to support minority owned businesses versus this nonsense.

I was followed around the store and was not asked if I needed help. I tried on a wig she told me I’m not suppose to do that instead of helping me do it correct. She was more concern with me stealing than actually selling me something; not aware that I was a regular that had been going there for 4 years but after this experience I will not be returning. Racial profiling is real and it is very upsetting and disappointing to the people it happens to.

THE MOST DISHONEST SALES ASSOCIATES & OWNER!!! I will NEVER come back to this store and Highly encourage YOU not to. These people are DISHONEST and also treat you as if you are going to steal something. I went to this store yesterday to purchase some hair to have goddess locs put into my hair. this store was the only one near me that was opened (however in the future, I will find another store to go to regardless of the situation). There was a man working there on Jan 16th and he was fairly nice but began to act very rudely when I asked him for help to find the hair--did not want to get off the phone at all! I have never purchased braiding/loc hair and was unsure if I was purchasing the right one. I looked thru many packs of hair and finally bought what I thought was the right hair. As it turned out, I got the wrong one for the bottom of the locs. I went back to the store today to exchange the wrong wavy hair and one of the other packs of the Marley hair for a shorter length. Today, a lady and a different man were there. She says, Oh I can exchange the marley for you but not the wavy. A label is missing out of here. I said, Maam I just bought this yesterday as you can see on the receipt. You sold it just like this to me. What label are you talking about? She says, there is a piece of paper that goes in here. I said, well, all that my stylist did was open the pack and touch the hair. She didnt remove anything and I didnt either? She REFUSES to let me exchange the wavy hair and says. well, I can just exchange the marley hair. So, I become annoyed because there is no reason for her to act like that and as I was standing there, I began to have a de ja vue moment. I said, that is just really wrong, because I bought it just like this. that is just really Dishonest and unfair on your part. I then proceeded to tell her that I didnt want Anything else out of that store and they could give the credit to the customer that was behind me and I left the store. Something told to wait at my car until that customer came out and ask her if they gave her the credit. OF COURSE THEY DID NOT! I said, oh no--I am Not about to stand for that. So, I asked the lady if she would follow me back in the store and she did. I asked, Why didnt you give this customer my credit like I asked. The woman tries to lie and says, oh, I didnt hear you say that. I didnt know what you meant. I said, you are such a liar and so dishonest. You understood exactly what I said. I said it plain as day. You just are dishonest and try to do ANYTHING to keep a few dollars--INCLUDING STEALING FOR CUSTOMERS and being ethical with the exchange policy to try and force customers to purchase something else! She comes from behind the counter and gets in my face, and yells, Get out of my store! This is my store. What I say goes, what I say is how it is done here! I yelled back, you need get out of my face before I call the police and you better go back behind the counter and return that marley hair and give the credit to this woman here. Stop trying to steal from people and be so dishonest. I am not going Anywhere until you do that. She finally goes back behind the counter and returns the money and gives it to the customer. I will NEVER shop there again and honestly I had stopped shopping at these Asian beauty supply stores a long time ago b/c often when I would shop there, I would notice that they would treat you as if they thought you were going to steal. They also have products on the shelf that are very old and they are only Nice ---when they are Taking your money. It has been years since I shopped at one and Today, I remembered exactly why I stopped all those years ago. This will DEFINITELY be the last time, no matter if they are the only store open---I will Not buy at one of them. I will wait until the next day when my regular stores are open. I will stick to going to Sallys, Ulta or buying what I need online. DONT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE--CROOKED STORE OWNERS WHO DONT RESPECT THEIR CUSTOMERS.
