Such great customer service! Dr. Service is amazing and so are the 2 associates and assistant optical person (Im butchering their titles, sorry). However, they were all so helpful nice and informative. Definitely schedule an appointment you wont be sorry because youll be treated well.

I caught the store manager just before her lunch break, and she delayed it to make sure my needs were fully addressed. She took the time and patiently made sure all the measurements were just right so my new glasses would turn out great. And she was delightful to work with throughout the process. Highly recommend!

Recently, I got an updated prescription so it was time for some new frames and lenses. After shopping around for a bit, I decided to get a pair of carbon fiber Ray-Ban frames with the Ray-Ban lenses, a premium coating, and transitions. These can be found at many different stores.I went with Target Optical in Foster City, CA for the following reasons:1) The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. They explained the benefits of Ray-Ban lenses vs generic lenses with no pressured sales pitch. This was a week prior over the phone.2) They were $150 less than competitors including insurance.3) I walked in knowing exactly what I wanted without an appointment and walked out 15-20 minutes later frames and lenses ordered. The entire process was smooth and easy.I’ll update this once I receive my glasses, but so far it has been an excellent experience.

Hassler is absolutely amazing! He went above and beyond to help me with our contacts prescription. I really appreciate it, and how helpful, knowledgeable and kind he was. Highly recommend this place to get your optical needs done!

The ladies - the doctor and the receptionist assistant at Target Optical have been there many years. Extremely helpful and very clean modern store. Great selections and super friendly. Plenty of parking.

Had to order the prescription glasses. On Sunday we drive a long way to reach 40min before the official closing time and we are told that they are closed for the day. She said they need to finish all the paperwork and lock the optical store by 4pm.Atleast they should have updated their store open hours for causing the inconvenience to customers

Staff and the optometrist lied and told me they accepted my insurance and to submit a claim after the fact. Turns out this means they will accept it as an out of network provider, I paid cash and now I wont get reimbursed.

Target optical was very nice. Nice staff and very patient with my kids haha. Dr Hilary chiem was very patient and helpful and made my appt at ease. She gave me detailed explanation and told me about my exam, the staff was very sweet and friendly and they made my processes of getting my frames easy. Glad I came to this office. Thank you again good job to you and your staff!

Excellent service by Edith

Paid an extra $40 with insurance for Dr. Hilary Chiem to show me a youtube video on how to put contacts on. My expectation was she was going to watch me do it and show me how to do it. Nope, just put me in a eyeglass closet and told me to watch a video. Also front desk is careless and sent my contacts to the wrong address, in which I had to pay $20 for UPS to send back to my house. Just FYI everyone is invited apparently to the office, even without an appointment. Extended families are loitering the office. Not COVID-19 Safe. Do not recommend.

Everyone here is so nice and truly accommodating especially during the stress of Covid-19. Target employees told me I had to wait in line for my appointment and to pick up my glasses, but there’s an optical door on the side that will allow you to grab your glasses or go to your appointment without the hassle. You have to call them. Thank you for continuing to serve the public!

Went for the annual eye exam and Dr. Hilary Chiem was excellent. The service and folks at the place were also excellent. I have never tried to buy glasses/lenses from them though.

Unfortunately I cant give less than 1 star. The girls on front desk are kind, but they asked 2 weeks to give me only the lenses of my glasses and after a month and a half they didnt deliver, give no notice and just said its the labs fault (because the glasses are not made in the store) and offered no recompense for the delay. That is, if your glasses do not arrive, theres nothing to do. I canceled the order but I still waiting for the frame that was already mine. Best advice ... choose another place

The staff and doctors are very sweet and welcoming! Edith, an optician is magnificent ! They explain everything very thoroughly. I would definitely recommend here to others.

Three weeks and I still don’t have my contacts. I was promised them in 7-10 days. Customer service is consistently unprofessional and rude. It’s a shame because the eye doctor next door is fantastic - Dr. Cheim.
