Fresh made orders. I love the healthy options they serve here, I dont feel guilty after finishing my meal. SUPPORT THIS SMALL BUSINESS! I had the Green Turkey sandwich, it was delicious! I also discovered their homemade fermented cabbage side (you have to ask for it!), nice touch! I also got a fresh juice shot called the flu shot, spot on with ginger, acv, etc. I will be a regular here from now on. No decent pic of my sandwich because I finished it. I also appreciate the minimal packaging!

We love this place! The owners are the nicest people and the food is so good. If you want a good deli style sandwich this is the place. We also recently had the most cheesiest goodness in the likes of a double cheeseburger, and it was delicious! Thank you for the neighborly food love!

Was only in San Mateo for a few days, but I went to The Spot every single day I was here. They have a very expansive and healthy menu of salads, sandwiches and juices. The prices are also really great - only $4 for a breakfast sandwich. The staff is really nice as well; I stayed for a few hours to get some work done since they have tables and wifi and they offer free iced coffee refills. This coffee shop was also one of the only ones I could find in San Mateo that wasnt too crowded and had outlets next to some seats. They also have a couch in the front if youre looking for comfier seating!

Friendly and funny owners and employees. Peaceful, comfortable environment. Familiar return customers - when I go in every couple weeks, it seems I know someone there. Excellent, fresh, healthy food from such a laid-back, neighborhood-community place! And they love the planet, recycling and composting (to my benefit!)

They have a few vegetarian options, so thats exciting. We had tried to go a couple times before, and they were closed (even though it was during their normal posted hours), so thats not so exciting. We tried the barbecue vegan chicken wrap, which was good, but could have used more barbecue flavor. They also let us add the vegan chicken to a salad. That was pretty good.

My favorite grab and go healthy lunch spot! I come here for the fresh squeeze juices! Favorite juice spot in the peninsula. I love their baked yummies and simple healthy menu. If I have time I come for a quiet breakfast.This place never disappoints. I really love the staff too! Very friendly and knowledgeable.

Friendly staff, very welcoming, and definitely know the meals they make. Couldnt decide between the garden salad and the spinach salad. I was recommended the spinach salad and WOW... so. fing. good! Theres pancetta for a nice subtle saltiness, croutons for the crunch, spinach and sliced mushrooms were fresh, and the sliced egg was a nice touch. I had the dressing tossed in (I usually have dressing on the side, but I think I brain farted), and they put in the perfect amount of dressing for it to be a great compliment. I had chicken added, but honestly, probably didnt even need it. Next time Id ask maybe to add avocado. Will be a regular lunch spot for me!

Shane makes a mean sandwich. Hes a local community dude with a big smile and a good crew. Ask him to tell you the story about the wooden tabletop. The jalapeño grilled cheese is super bomb.

Friendly staff. Facility looked very clean. I thought the prices were very reasonable. They use good quality ingredients. Had a pear salad and you can tell the quality was good. The avocado was neither under nor over ripe. The pear was fresh, no discoloration. Same for the romain lettus. Also had a tuna sandwich equally good quality bread and extras. That pretty much tells me they pay attention to their food. Downside is that they are closed on Sundays.
