The ordering process is state of the art. Message on card process the best Ive seen and status tracking updates after ordering also best I ve seen. The end result (my friend sent me a pic showing the card as well) was very nice. You are now my go to florist.

This convenience store is fantastic! The store is well-kept, and I like how it is organized. Anything I needed, including fresh organic fruit, on-the-go food, drink, and nutritious snacks, was readily accessible. Well certainly pause again, and Ill tell everyone I know about it!

I usually request custom arrangements and am always impressed by the excellent results. The florists at Ah Sam are really quite artistic, so I will request certain flowers or colors with a particular theme in mind, and then just let them come up with a design. Ive received many resounding thank yous from from discerning and hard-to-please recipients. Expensive but well worth it!

Overpriced florist with no customer service. This tiny bouquet cost $130 delivered. When I reached out to them, they did not reply. I wouldnt shop there again. Maybe you are guaranteed better bouquets when you order through FTD.

In my opinion, Ah Sam is the simply the best florist on the Peninsula. Im speaking from a three generation perspective (from my view, my parents, and grandparents who all insisted on Ah Sam for important events). From the first time I coordinated at wedding, to the many times I needed to cheer up a friend: no one does a better job than the good folks at Ah Sam in San Mateo. One particular wedding comes to mind: I ordered several corsages and boutonnieres from Ah Sam for the Immediate family: As it turned out, one unexpected Auntie showed up and was miffed that SHE did not have a corsage. So, Day of the Wedding, I called Ah Sam in desperation, and they rushed a matching corsage to the wedding location in the nick of time. THAT is what puts Ah Sam in the 5-star realm.

I ordered floral arrangements for my sisters memorial service, but I wanted them to be spectacular & of a free-flowing design. I went to the store to order them & Dottie was the salesperson who helped me. When the flowers were delivered to the mortuary, theywerent exactly as I had hoped (not enough color), although the design was really fabulous. I phoned Dottie & they sent someone out to add more color to two of the arrangements before the service the following morning, and they ended up being more than I could have hoped for! Received many compliments about the flowers, & the personal service from Ah Sams made it all the more special! I think Ah Sams isthe finest florist on the peninsula!

Ordered flowers yesterday around noon and they were delivered on the same day. This holiday arrangement was absolutely gorgeous bringing Christmas spirit to my 92yr old mother.
