Seems stocked on employees finally... it was hard to find knowledgable help... good thing I know what Im doing...
If you know what you need and have some time to hunt around and find it, this Home Dept seems decently stocked. I’ve never been in a Home Depot with so many employees who seem not to know anything about the store, what they carry, where it might be found, - or in particular for this kind of shop - suggestions on how to fix / manage a project. Really surprisingly poor customer service.
I often come to this home Depot because it is on my commute route but I have had several issues here. One is order pickup taking forever to be ready and not always ready when it says it is. My advice always plan to pick up next day or later. There was also the time I did a propane tank exchange where I wanted in the cold for about 15 minutes around 6pm till I went back into customer service to get someone after they were already called. Also word of advice for any tool rental always bring a cloth to clean up your tool right before drop off it will usually save you the cleaning fee which can be quite large. It also seems like service gets worse after 5pm so if you can go before then.

Friendly service! Erica was amazing and helped me on her break even. However, garden center employees are just cashiers so they said (other ones, not Erica) and dont actually know anything about their garden products or about gardening in general. Overall, one of the better home depots.
Average sided Home Depot with a pretty good selection of plants and good sized garden section, usually uses the parking lot in front of it in the busy plant buying times if the year to hold extra plants to buy, as well as in front of the store too. Uses all automatic paying machines, not all of them except cash. You can find one cashier usually at the front and garden area(before 8 or 6pm dependingon the day of the week). Also has key making matching and a person doing it, but again a automatic machine that makes the keys. Also has a good sized wood section and building, with 2 types of saws for cutting(very hard to get help unless someone is already being helped, go up front from the saw to ask to call the person to cut things for you).Rental equipment here. Has a good selection of indoor house plants and succulents in their own area outside.
Person by barn doors really knew her stuff/what aisle to find things in and quickly helped numerous people. Didnt hear not my dept. ever
Home Depot has a lot of items on their website for sale that they dont actually have. They listed that they had two of the items I wanted at the store and it was incorrect. Of course they had lots of other items on hand that were more expensive for similar items and this is not the age of customer service. You will not get those other items for a discount.
Disappointing that they were completely out of motion sensored light bulbs. Another excuse to use reliable Amazon.
I can’t believe what the guy at the plumbing department keeps selling me saying they have nothing for a bath tub and send me to the under the sink ones that don’t seal and they don’t even sell the proper seals had to go to ace
Grab all you DIYer stuff and go to the DIY check out. You also need to find stuff yourself (I use the app…and still wander around longer than I should), since finding staff to help is impossible. Selection is good and prices are reasonable. But be prepared to spend longer than you expect.
Just went to home depot to do a curbside pickup here. the parking spots for curbside pickup is the lane just to the right of the main entrance (off of the traffic light), right up in front. Order came out quick, just click on the button in the your order is ready email, answer the few questions, and submit. A few minutes later, your order is coming out and being loaded into your car. Great service, friendly staff. Oh, and keep in mind, they only offer curbside pick up until 6pm. After that, youll have to go in to get your order from customer service, or you come back the next day for curbside pickup.
I can almost always find what I need when shopping at Home Depot. They have reasonable prices and friendly workers.
Needed shelving and brackets. Got them after checking online to see if the store had them in stock. Curbside pickup or in store pickup - both choices work great if you’d rather not have to go walking around to find things. I, however, love to walk the aisles as I sometimes remember items that I meant to fix another day but they never got on the shopping list. Or occasionally it’s things like duck tape, super glue or paint brushes which you can never find when you need them, right? Or maybe just hand sanitizer.

How can any company justify charging a person an extra 3 hours for renting equipment. You must call when they open at 6am and you can go over and pay them not via phone, Its first come first serve which means if you miss the small window at 6am you may not get one at all and if you do rent one and cant start using the equipment until 9am you have paid Home Depot 3 hours of non use. Outrageous!!

We needed particle board went to this home depot. We got help with cutting it the dimensions we needed and went on our way. It was cut the proper size and we were in and out in maybe 15 tops.
Staff seems very unknowledgeable and young. Wasted 20mins of my time waiting for them to try to find something that online said they had 12 in stock. In the end, no one came to help look as promised and were just “sorry we can’t help you.” Going to try to avoid this Home Depot.

I would advise not to buy anything on The Home Depot with delivery. If item turns out unavailable(and it happens a lot) you have to drive to the store to get a refund. Ive talked with 2 customer support specialists, 2 customer support supervisors and 2 store managers - they all assured me, that no one can make a refund back to credit card and no one can send check. The only option is to drive to store with my goverment id. Im happy to be a loyal customer of Amazon which doesnt ask me to drive to local warehouse. Ive spend more than 3 hours on customer support with Home Depot. Im not driving to the store, Im disputing my transaction with credit card company tomorrow, but I would advise anyone not to risk it and not engage with online business of Homes Depot.On smaller issues: order was not delivered and I got email and update that order was delivered. I had to contact customer support for them to confirm that order indeed wasnt delivered. They refused to change the status of the order. I had to talk to store separately from HomeDepot.com. Store does not believe that they responsible for anything, HomeDepot.com customer support cant do a thing. They can not issue a refund or change status of the order. Its a mess there.
I dont know if we get lucky but every time we so, but the lines move pretty quickly and the help is very helpful and finding just what we need.!!

Rafael and Roland were both exceptional and help me thoroughly. Very happy with their professionalism got the job done got it corrected as far as pricing and upgrades and the purchase was satisfying. Now lets see how tough shed performs because the last time I experienced with home Depot their clerks are fine but when the company they hire to put in their product thats the issue theyre a problem they dont work well. The professionalism is very poor.

Unsure of what management generally consists of here - Multiple times I have bought items as advised by employees only to find it was exactly NOT what I had needed; after I had left and began work. After multiple incidents ACE is my first place, followed by lowes. Not to mention being ignored when asking for help and or a cashier.

Worst Home Depot ever dealt with. They never keep their promise and messed up my order. Spent over $1,000 and arranged delivery service. They never called as this guy named Eric from the delivery department promised. And then put my paid stuff back to the rack one day after they promised to keep the merchandise as sold under my name. Next, they put off the delivery time by 3 more days, making me lose my booking with the contractor.It also took forever to get someone on the phone to help. Very low efficiency and messed up system. And they are rude.Never will shop there again.
Like mos theme Depots, quite crowded on weekends. This store only have self check for non-professionals. It is okay be cause this will help to keep most people safe. However, they should change out or supplement the use of hand scanners, or have sanitizers at every self-checkout station after use.

This Home Depot is located in a nicer neighborhood. I havent compared the prices so I dont know if they are higher. The service was good and employees were helpful.
I needed an oven lighter for an oven. I couldnt get it delivered to my place because my apartments mail box is broken and packages are stolen on daily basis. I was directed to appliance section, mind you, I called the store and confirmed that part there. In appliance area, I had a conversation with an employee, who was acting annoyed and irritated by my inquiry. He gave me a Home Depot telephone number, which I had called infront of him: I was told that part can be delivered to the store if the manager will approve it. This employee didnt even flinch and sent me back to the customer service, which sent me back to the appliance. Again, the same employee did everything to avoid helping me. I ended up waiting for a manager at the customer service area, who ordered the part, but still charged me $19.99 for shipping and 2-3 days wait until I can come by store, again, and pick it up. If it wasnt for the managers help, I would have been leaving, without ever returning to purchase anything from this store. The appliance area employee was extremely rude and has no business in customer service. The only reason I stayed is: I need the part ASAP and I cant have it delivered to my place due to rampant theft of deliveries. I ended up paying $95, for the very same part which advertised on home depot site fo r.c around $60.Horrible service, useless employees. The few exceptions were : customer service employee, who got a manager and the manager. I still have to pay for shipping, even though I will pick up the part from that store.Thats why more and more people shop online and avoid, spending almost 2 hours plus inappropriate attitude of rude employees.

Only one in San Mateo and Foster City. Has almost everything you need but does run short on sale items and seasonal items at times. Good location.
Crowded with very little social distancing. On line orders lost. Customer service depends on individual you run into, most have little to no knowledge of their products and their use. Products are often discontinued or out of stock. 3rd party sales people constantly trying to sell you solar/blinds/HVAC/etc. Not a place I enjoy going to. Does have a wide variety of goods and building supplies with longer hours than competitors.

Some customers and employees are not wearing masks. The scanners at self check out counters are not cleaned, ut was gummed up.

Handling isolation well: place is big enough to handle crowds. This branch of homedepot is well stocked.
Customer experience at rentals and returns/customer service desk has been poor. They would prefer to do a minimum amount of work to address your issues. Asked for managers name when employee wouldnt assist with price adjustment. She hesitated, and Im sure she gave me a fake managers name she spoke with on the phone.

They had a variety of tools and materials needed for a project, but were missing some certain parts which were not very normal, Ill give them that, but it wouldve been nice if they had certain diameter items. Overall, everything was organized and layed out nicely.
No one around to help you. When I did find someone, they didn’t know where it was or anything about it. Online said they had 45 keys in stock. When I got there, they had 0. I use to avoid Home Depot and go to orchard supply, but now OS is out of business. OS always had an old guy available to help that was knowledgeable, and knew where it was. I will drive out of my way to not go to Home Depot

The team at this Home Depot is always helpful, but this visit was even better than usual. The gentleman in electrical took me right to what I needed (even though I didnt describe it very accurately) and a team member helped apply a couple of gift cards at the self-checkout line. Home Depot always has what I need and helps me to the right answer.
In the gardening department there were a lot of items that did not have prices. After waiting to check out, I was told they do not accept any form of contactless payment.

I feel like they never have what im looking for, and its kinda weird because I would think a hardware store would carry such an item. Their lumber is a joke. And most of the employees, when you can actually find them, dont know anything. In all fairness, some of them do know their stuff, but not most. They could do better.

It would be nice if someone actually answered a phone. I have an purchase that I need to pick up, but am out of town. The email says to speak with your store to extend the period, otherwise the purchase will be cancelled. No one will pick up the phone when I call. Very frustrating. Ive called several times with the same result.
Good service always people to help with self registers they even do it for you. So great. Used to hate it now I love it. Love the idea of people helping out at registers.

Their selection is good but can be a hassle to get help - getting a person to help is hard and the person who shows up often doesnt know anything about the topic. Ive been told to buy the wrong thing a couple of times, once where I was able to correct by googling, and another when I had to come back to return the wrong item.
