This bookstore is a dream. Books of all themes of interest. Great selection of history of Puerto Rico and Puertorican authors. Books for children to stimulate love and respect for the island. Knowledgeable and friendly staff.

Im a book collector and Librería Laberinto was everything. I kind of stumbled upon this bookstore by accident but best mistake ever. I walked out with several wonderful books and three lovely bookmarks. I collect those, too. Great lil gem of a bookstore! Theres only a few English language editions in here but I want ALL the books!! As you can see, I purchased a fabulous edition of Jane Austens SENSE and SENSIBILITY. Love it! Reasonably priced books. Friendly, helpful staff. Excellent.

Staff was very accommodating in helping me find a local book in English to read on my travels. Ended up choosing a book on Puerto Rican tales and found a lovely spot in the old city wall to read it!

Great bookstore. I saw a couple of mainstream books but mostly great local writers. A must visit when in Old San Juan.

Excellent bookstore catering mainly to the Spanish reader, but it also has a selection, albeit small, of contemporary English titles. Fiction is the main genre, but you can also find history, economy, politics and even some biographies. The staff is composed of avid readers always ready to comment on many of the titles and authors, as well as offering a suggestion.

Awesome library with a big collection of Puerto Rican authors and books. Always leave with a book or more. The staff is always very helpful in suggestions and findings what youre in search of!

Amazing wide and deep selection. I was especially pleased to see the non fiction in Independence, revolutionary, and resistance authors.Store workers are experts and very helpful.Note that 99% titles are en Español.This independent store is a beautiful gem in Old San Juan.

Grest service, choice of books, and location (Old San Juan). They have English translations for some of the best classics of Puertorrican literature and history books. Love to visit everytime Im in Old San Juan to update my library.

What a beautiful bookstore. I had finished my book earlier in my vacation than expected and wanted to pick up something else to read. I was very pleased that there was a section dedicated to English books. I was helped by the employee to pick out a book by a Puerto Rican author translated into English, which felt special. Very cool, and worth a stop by.

Great little book store in Viejo San Juan. Lots of quality publications including hard to find texts from the University of Puerto Rico ranging from kids books to serious adult text. Staff is friendly and very knowledgeable. They made great recommendations for us. Well definitely be back.

Was walking through OSJ and was delighted to find a book store. The day I went the owners were there and joined in conversation about the bookstore and layout. They have a huge selection of Puerto Rican books and authors to my delight. They were patient enough with my questions and preferences as they kept giving book recommendations. This bookstore also has new contemporary books and authors. In a time where book stores are rare, I was overjoyed to find one; the knowledgeable and approachable owners were an added bonus to this gem.

This is THE bookstore in Puerto Rico. A great selection of both English and Spanish books, bestsellers, classics, out of print, and Latin American and Puerto Rican authors. The prices are not cheap but supporting local never is. By shopping here you know youre making a difference.
