After insurance got an appointment on Wednesday 8am, Bob at Caliber did an estimate and gave me options. I chose to fix it completely and Caliber began work. It was completed per estimate in 2 days. The quality was outstanding. The car was detailed inside and outside. Bob is very straight up, detailed, trustworthy, and professional. I would highly recommend using Caliber Collision.

I had such a a great experience here. They made it so convenient for me. Picked up my car from work and had it back to me before the end of my day on two occasions. One day to evaluate the work, and one day to do the work. Eric was extremely helpful, and I truly appreciate him and the team making the situation as stress-free as possible. It was a bonus that the work was well done as they replaced my headlight and reattached my bumper.

Terrible at this site for repairs, I had been asked to go there by my insurance. Despite me demanding no new tire as it was not damaged they replaced my very nice tire with an inferior tire. They wouldnt even give me my own tire back. Dont go to caliber in San Juan Capistrano CA if you want repairs and expect them to respect your requests.So, they promised to not change the tire.... literally the last call I had before the repairs, the guy said I will make sure they dont include the tire... and then changed the tire (I have nice tires, the insurance covers the fix, the tire was less than 20% used so I was charged for most of a new tire, and I didnt even get to select my tire, which I always do, I care about my tires) they chose, installed and charged it, and told me its not their problem. And also didnt give me my tire back! Terrible interaction for me and cost me a lot of money considering how I buy tires and care about my vehicles.Negative 5 stars.

I recommend Caliber Collision. This being my 4th vehicle i have taken there. I recently took my black suburban to have the hood repainted. Reagan was very professional and was willing to give me a good deal for painting the hood AND the rack top. I was skeptical at first because it required and included removing the inside cab top and top rack, but I knew I have never had an issue with Caliber Collision in the past 14 years and 3 vehicles. The Suburban was delivered on time like promised and the inside was not torn and was put back like nothing happened and no finger or hand marks. I liked that the price was as talked about, no hidden fees. The paint job looks amazing! Six months later. I shopped around and this place is proven. I was in a car accident recently and my insurance sent me and my car to Caliber. My car has cosmetic modifications and I was concerned that they would not be able to get it back to its original condition. I’m glad to say I was wrong. It looks awesome! After getting my car back I noticed that there was something off with my car still, so I brought it back within a few days because they mentioned their “lifetime warranty”. Within 1 business day they had taken it back to the shop that preformed the fix to the problematic part, ensured the part was fixed/ reinstalled, and had ordered a new version of that same part just in case there was a problem laster on. That level of service and forethought is not something I expected, but I appreciated it more than they know. Also, they are really good on the communication front. I received calls and texts about my car.

I got rear ended and so I took my car to Caliber Collision. They were friendly when I first walked into the building and explained everything to me. Then as soon as they checked my car they called me right away and told me what needed to be done and how long they were hoping to have it finished for. They finished my car 2 days earlier than they said. I went and picked my car up and they had cleaned the whole inside and out side of my car. It looked like a brand new car and it smelled fantastic inside. I was very happy with them and if this ever happens again I will be going to them again. Eric really knows customer service. I needed something adjusted on my car because something was rattling near my sun visor after my sunroof was replaced by them. Eric said to bring it in and was reassuring that his team would fix the annoying rattle and I shouldn’t worry. It was extremely hard to find the source of the problem and the problem was not their fault, but they were really persistent and fixed it. I’ll definitely be back when I need body work done on my car. Seriously, Eric was probably the most helpful person I’ve dealt with in the car repair industry. A+

I had my new truck only a couple weeks and with less that 700 miles on it when I was rear-ended at a red light. The staff at Caliber Collision in San Juan Capistrano were amazing. They were polite, professional and caring from the minute I walked in the door. My advisor, Reagan Bennett, who did the estimate was thorough, listened to all of my concerns, and even brought out one of his specialists to look at the truck and answer questions. Eric Vargas, the General Manager, called me to provide updates at every step of the repair process including when the repairs started, when it went to paint, when it was finished painting, and when it went to re-assembly. To have a brand new truck get hit was devastating, but the professionalism and caring approach of the staff at Caliber San Juan put me at ease and my truck was returned to me in new condition. Getting in a car accident is never a delight I am sure we can all agree on that. When it is not your fault and you are on a tight budget/unemployed trusting a mechanic that the responsible partys insurance has as their preferred repair shops. I was blown away from the first phone conversation with Reagan he put me at ease. I was not a burden or another insurance claim he set me up to be in the very next Monday so I could enjoy my weekend, Big Bertha = my car was rear-ended and now had a tramp stamp. He recommended the enterprise that was less than 5 min I was able to make all the arrangements I needed to get my car in and piece of mind. The front desk sweetheart I cannot remember her name but everyone was delightful and took all the worries away. Enterprise picked me up and took me to get my car. I was even upgraded from a compact to a beautiful Lincoln.5 days but the communication was so on point that could have taken two weeks I would have been ok, it was what I was expecting getting squeezed in the way I was. They went above and beyond buffed my car washed it inside out! its was like I took it to the dealer and got the works. I had an accident and my car insurance offered this place as a Collision repair shop. The estimator assigned to me was Chris Wright. I told him that I was concerned about my alignment and that there was possibly damage to the underside of the vehicle frame.He immediately followed through via email and or phone call. Told me when he thought my car would be back to me. He gave me status updates, worked with when I was hoping to get my car.When the work was done I wanted my whole car painted !Wait let me not forget to thank their awesome front desk service. Ladies thank you for offering coffee and burritos.This is where I will suggest my family and friends to bring their cars! They have AAA and Allstate stickers on the front door.By the way they put all the paperwork in a great presentation folder. Its never fun when you have to have body work done on a previously flawless car. But Caliber made the experience near painless. They coordinated everything with our insurance. And actually got our car back a day earlier than promised. And I was actually quite impressed at the work. No signs at all that there was ever damage. Paint matched perfectly. I would definitely recommend Caliber to anyone looking for auto body repair.

We briefly discussed our experience and he apologized, setup an appointment to make things right, and even offered a rental car on them while it was being taken care of. We didn’t end up needing the rental, but it was above-and-beyond to offer and we appreciate that greatly. THIS, is the customer service that we are used to receiving from Caliber, and we greatly appreciate that.****Customer service and attention to detail, thumbs down this go around. We have had work done here before, but this was a 180 degree change of experience.We picked up our vehicle yesterday after the repairs were completed. While approaching the vehicle I saw that the fender repair looked in order, but there was something off about the wheel/rim that was repaired. Upon closer inspection, the wheel repair itself was impressive for the damage it had sustained, but it had been refinished in a gloss/semi-gloss finish as opposed to a matte/flat finish that matched the other three undamaged wheels/rims. I brought this up to the agent that was with us and he immediately retorted, “well, the insurance company isn’t going to pay to re-paint the undamaged wheels.” Slightly confused I re-stated that the other undamaged wheels/rims are a matte finish and they refinished the damaged wheel/rim in gloss, and that was my biggest complaint. The agent then took a look at one of the other wheels/rims, walked over and took a closer look, rubbed it a little bit, stood up and said “I’m not sure how long these wheels/rims have been on this car but they have definitely been out in the sun quite a bit and that paint is faded. We can’t match that. And the refinished wheel does actually have a matte finish. It’s just a new coat so it looks gloss.” ....Mind. Blown.... He then thrust the key out in his hand towards me and asked, “who’s driving, you or her?”Now, I’ve had enough auto-body repairs done to my vehicles that I’m not a stickler about the absolute-exact-perfect match, but this was a complete disregard of and pride for the work that was completed. Customer service at its worst. Completely unacceptable experience.

My husband got rear-ended and we were referred to Caliber SJC, a gold-star rated, AAA-approved shop, to have repairs done on his Honda Accord. We dropped off the car Wednesday morning and couldnt believe it when we got the call to pick it up Friday afternoon! The work was flawless, the car looked clean and shiny, and everyone at Caliber greeted us with a smile, even though they had to wait on us to arrive before they could close for the weekend. I don’t really do reviews, but this experience was 10/10. Hit a curb and had to replace the whole front end and had to color blend the D/S Front Door on my brand new red Honda. Car was towed in and the NEXT DAY we had an estimate which was approved right away. My adviser Luis was awesome and super helpful. Some parts took longer than others and whenever there was an update, my adviser would call me. Every time I called in to talk to my adviser, no hold time, no voicemails, and he ways picked up (we spoke about 8 times). I work at a vehicle extended warranty company and I was pleasantly surprised with the customer service. Full rebuild took about 2 weeks (which was expected) and car came back washed and vacuumed. Would recommend this shop to anyone. Don’t know how people could have a bad experience here... Thanks again👍

Excellent service and did an excellent job. Made my car look better than it did when I bought it. Ashley took care of us 100% all we had to do is drop off the car. They took care of the rest with my insurance. Ashley kept me updated throughout the week and even when they found more damage than we originally thought, they still had it done on time plus detailed it for me! I wouldnt take my car anywhere else!

Took my 2018 Jeep Compass after being hit by a semi truck and my car was back to me within a few days. Everyone was extremely nice and they kept me updated throughout the entire process. Luis was who worked with me and he is very friendly and kept me in the loop. I would definitely recommend this place!My car looks brand new! They also cleaned my car inside and out!

I give Kerry and Caliber a big FAT zero..After not doing repairs on my car, after it being delivered to them, twice, they would not address the problems they didnt fix, nor would they return my calls.I tried to reach management, Kerry, for four straight days, leaving messages, to which he/she did not return a single call.Finally, I contacted AAA, got permission to go elsewhere, and they approved my delivery to an Audi dealer.Interesting, they fixed the problem in just a couple days (this after Caliber had my car for a month and a half). I got my car back, repairs completed correctly, and the car drives great. AAA covered the costs, and are dealing with that cost back at Caliber.Caliber Collision : Incompetent, inconsiderate, and Irresponsible. ZERO customer service, and I can say Ill never go back or refer anyone to these guys again.

Terrible call to bring my car in here. Had $9000 worth of comprehensive damage and still had to pay a $1000 deductible they claimed they couldnt afford to offer me any discount despite the substantial cost of repair. I should have taken the time to shop around body shops and highly recommend anyone considering bringing their car here to shop around. They are contracted with my insurance company and an easy option but a costly one. Also I was lied to about time to pick up car costing me money and time off work. They have terrible communication and blamed their lapses in communication on my insurance company. Ended up leaving a work trip early because my car was supposed to be done when I got back they informed me it wouldnt be done until Monday at 5pm three days later.

Ive been trying to get my car repaired with Caliber in San Juan for over 2-months now. Every time I call, Im told the necessary part will arrive later this week. It has been 2-months with zero follow up from Caliber. I have to call every week to get any information. They initially asked for my car and I rented a replacement vehicle back in November, just to get a call from Caliber telling me that they didnt yet have the parts needed to fix my car, and that I should return the rental car and come pick up my rear ended vehicle. I can forgive Caliber for having trouble getting a part, but why do they think it is ok to provide zero communication or follow up.

On Sept. 9th 2017 I dropped off my car at Caliber Collision. The Service Adviser that approached me was Anthony V. I let him know that my insurance had been taking to long to give me the appraisal. So I left the car there by the 12th he had called me saying he spoke with my insurance adjuster. Anthony hustled the adjuster to send in the appraisal and other requirements; So the guys at Caliber could start repairing my car. Anthony made the process go faster, I appreciate the fact he did that because the adjuster wasnt really listening to me at all. Today 09/15/2017 I picked up my car and man I really think anthony is a good employee and very helpful. He deserves something just for being a good service advisor and a hard worker.

I use progressive, which sucks, i dont reccommend them. I had to use my comp coverage for my rear windshield somehow broke. I go to caliber in dana point.The asian adjuster chris was rude, made it seem like I was lying about how my damage had occured . He is the progrssive agent. I cant even talk to this guy, his arms are crossed, he doesnt sympathize, smile, or anything but act like a cop!I asked for manager - Manager asked me how ALL the glass was shattered... ITS SHATTER GLASS YOU MORON! I spoke to him for a minute, but they would not pay to repair two small scratches on paint! they wanted me to tell them so they could understand how it happened. I HAVE NO IDEA i keep telling them. They never even asked me how I wanted to repair them they just say we cant pay for it. They never even gave me prices for the repair -SO THE VISIT WAS A TOTAL WASTE OF TIME>I called my insurance back and told them to set me a new appt anywhere else as these guys were rude, retarded, and had an agenda!!!DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION I HAD THE WORST TIMEThat manager is Corey and Chris was the adjuster.
