The cashier yesterday told me that I have to do it when I asked her to put my groceries in my bag without any explanation. What if I bought a cart full of items? Shes just gonna wait for me to finish? Are you telling me that only customers bags can transmit COVID? The products are touch by more people.

Not as busy as super centers. Be aware that pickup spots are named alphabets and not numbers that show up in the app for checkin. Fast and simple pickup experience.

First-time visitor to this Walmart in San Jose California and it was a good visit considering I found everything I needed..... crowded due to the 4th of July 2018 but we succeeded and managed to get out of there in a timely manner. Thank you Walmart for a great experience. Compliments to my little elderly lady...our cashier

The store was so clean. Everything is easy to find. The employees are really nice.Totally recommend.

If I can give this store zero stars I would. Just an FYI I tried to use a gift card that was on my phone and the Supervisor said that the store Manager deos not accept gift cards on a phone I would have to print it to use it at that store. It seems they make up their own rules because when I asked where it was written that it had to be printed in order to use the gift card she just walked away. Also check your expiration dates on your food example drinkable yogurt I went through a dozen of them and all of them were expired by three days. Avoid this store if you can.

Customer service is horrible... I waited in line for self checkout because all of the lines were crazy, loaded my stuff onto the register and started scanning, only for the lady to tell me she was closing the self checkout and I had to remove my things.. I thought maybe she was going to offer to help me at another register but she expected me to just hop back in line all over again somewhere else, which I could have just done in the first place... thought that was kinda rude and frustrating... Im only posting this because its the second or third time I had an issue.. last time I tried to buy plastic cups and sharpies I got stopped and carded 😩... thats a whole other story.. lol. they just have a really rude way of communicating and enforcing policies etc and its annoying. I dont experience this anywhere but good ol Walmart. 😑

Thumbs up, guys! Ive been going to this grocery store for almost a year, but still, their services have been so strong. I enjoy buying fruit and vegetables in this shop because its all new and cheap. It was really convenient to visit this location, too. You are highly recommended to all of us!

The women bathroom was absolutely disgusting. One door with no lock, the other had no seat covers. The seat is covered in urine, the floor was covered in urine, paper all on the floor. I expect this from a gas station not Walmart.

Has great parking space and many restaurants (with drive thru). Easily accessible from my home by Bus. Has lesser variety than the conventional WalMart but still a decent substitute to it.

Love this location and love this neighborhood market with all the great food and household stuff Walmart has to offer. I hate having to wait 20 minutes for an associate to find a key to unlock the glass cabinets that contain the items I need. maybe they sn figure out a better system for that

Its okay. It could be better but the store lacks a few appliances and I tend to have to go to the Walmart off by Story Rd to buy electronics and other things. This Walmart is a family walmart in my opinion. It doesnt carry most products that you think it will carry.

Its a neighborhood Walmart. Not a real Walmart. I always give these one star because I hope Walmart gets rid of them one day. Nothings worse than asking your GPS to take you to a Walmart and being brought to a fake Walmart.

This Walmart on Monterey road is close to freeway 880 and 280 northside and 101 downtown San Jose accessible since 1st street changes and continues as Monterey road going south from 1st and Santa Clara. There is a lot of parking space and variety of fast food eateries. Very well stocked in the a.m. and has coinstar. It has chicken,turkey,pork and beef specials. Always has supplies at mid day through evening.

The security guard is always a joy but I have to admit most of the staff there are not friendly. they do not greet you and are extremely rude except for a few young kids that work at the late night shift

Curbside..took 30 min to bring my stuff ... I was the only one waiting...2 other cars pulled in 30 min after me and got serviced in 5 min...not cool

I went there a couple of times and SOME OF THE EMPLOYEES are very helpful an nice i think i kinda feel Comfortable shopping there since they have security now before I wasnt comfortable shopping there but now the security is there I feel more comfortable 👍👍

The customer service is poor and so mean!Only 1 cash register open for more than 2 hours

They always have the bread I like. Lots of it too. I can just grab and go, no hassle. Its really nice when you dont have to go to 2 different stores for bread.

The employees are rude as hell if your. Not white they follow you like your gonna steal maybe im going in circles looking for help. Worst place ever dont go unless you want to be treated like. Your a criminal shame of you Walmart I left my cart and complained to manager. I refuse to give them my money ill shop someplace else

Dont come to this store. They dont care about policy and will treat you badly regardless of how nice you are to them.

It was a good experience but I am new to area so I didnt know where anything was 🙂in the store! I do prefer going to the Walmart on story rd, when I need clothes and stuff but I will for sure shop again at the Walmart market!

This is a pretty good store, except sometimes they are out of a lot of stuff and the cashier lines are long.

This is by far the best Walmart I have ever be in. The fact employees knew where things were, they helped me right away when I needed something that was locked up. Seriously. I didn’t have to wait and they didn’t tell me they were on a break or didn’t know who is in charge. Everything from the way things were stocked on the shelves to the friendly cashiers at checkout, I was in a great mood when I left. Usually I have unusual thoughts that make me do an evil laugh as I’m driving away from the other Walmart’s.

To upset to say anything. I was brought up that if you didnt have something nice to say then you say nothing. This are my thoughts Now. I do not understand.

I like going here they are clean,well stocked less crazy then going over to the Story/Road one and one in Milptas.In and out in an hour depending how much shopping you have to do!

Not used to shopping at the store with not having clothing but for having the main essentials it was okay

No one was available to get locked allergy nasal spray for 20 minutes. Carts were far away and so many broken carts every where. It was very disappointing experience.

Convenient place but shelves arent fully stocked, I have a hard time looking for items due to this situation.

This store has a number of things that are note easily found.Land OLakes fresh buttery spread is $1.99there. The only other store in San Jose that sells it charges $3.99! We usually buy 4 at a time. Also, no one has a better selection of Pillsbury sugar free cake, quick bread and brownie mixes plus sugar free frosting. Walmart is not as close to us as some other grocery stores but they have a much wider selection.

My experience is a two-fer. 4 stars because of the care the staff took at self checkout to help. I just finished bagging about 7 bags of groceries (about $100+or-) and my card was not working. He tried everything at every available machine till my card worked. He was so calm and polite. However, the store conditions scores a 0 to 1. Awful

Always dirty. Employees are rude. Never anyone available with keys to lock-ups. Produce is terrible. Looks ok on the outside, rotten on the inside......kinda like the store

Good place! 🙂 Although if youre looking to buy clothes, this wouldnt be the store to go to. They only sell food here. Security is wonderful and kind! Although, the employees.. Not so much. Last time I went, the employee that was helping us ran off almost every 5 seconds without scanning either one of my items. Customer service could use a little more work. I recommend going during the day! Its more safe. Over all, the store is great for fast picks! 4/5 !!!

Nice neighborhood market for food shopping. Has ok food variety. All the essentials. Very clean and usually well staffed.

I like walmart neighborhood store, they have good food, but I prefer the super stores where I can buy items other than food. Things like clothes, shoes medication and automotive services. Other then that walmart is a good store.

Brilliant customer service, shelves were maintained & everybody was helpful, Im sorry but not like other walmarts where they have mostly our Asian community employees most of them are rude & unprofessional. But the one on Monterey Walmart neighborhood market is a nice spacious & well organized, I give them 5stars for todays cleanliness, shelves organized & most of all customer service

I AM VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED!1.) Theres no sanitized cart by the entrance door. And one of the staff whos in charge at the entrance door line said we have to get our own cart whatever we find in the parking lot, so my husband has to get one of the cart. (WITH THIS PANDEMIC GOING ON. NO SANITIZED CART?)2.) BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE! 0% VERY VERY VERY VERY SLOW SERVICE! Ive been standing and waiting for someone to open the cabinet laundry soap. I pressed the button many times and asked one of the associates 3 times if someone could open it. And they just told me to press the button and they just walk away. What kind of service is that?

Love the store, so much to look at. The parking lot not so much, came out to car next to me having a party, little seedy out there.

This Walmart has friendly staff lots of produce to choose from. I like as it only has food and essential items. Easy check out too

This wal-Mart has a great location and the best mini pies Ive ever tasted! I would highly recommend blueberry and pecan..They also have 🍋, peach, apple 🍏🍒🍑. And one thats pumpkin cake really good.The best part two for a $1.00..Wow!!

I walked in and there was no shopping carts I asked the person at the door if they had the hand held ones she said no and another employee named Juan offered to go get me one, I said sure and he went out to go get me one. The place was clean and all cashiers were following CDC guidelines.

Quick checkout, self checkout. If ur just trying to get food. Its convenient.

You can buy basic stuff and pick up items ordered online. But no return of the online stuff here.

This place is very clean and the workers there are very helpful. I remember when they first opened and it still looks brand-new. I go there now compared to the Walmart on King. Not so busy and less traffic. Great job Walmart 👏👌

Worst customer service

I actually love everything about Walmart except for the Wrangler regular fit jeans. Altogether the butt of 4 pair ripped out within six weeks. You can send me to pair of Wrangler waist 34 length 32. Thank you ahead of time you owe me.

My family and I, all agree. This Walmart has the absolute best customer service. And all the employees are knowledgeable about their store. If they cant find it, they actually find someone who can.(Cant stand the almaden / blossom hill employees ! I Always have to wait for 40 minutes + for anything in a locked case!! and nobody will help you find the person with the darn keys!!!) Why waste money on the 2 way radios, if they dont use them?
