Brought my 2007 Honda Pilot here after replacing the front bumper cover and left front fender due to a wreck. They were able to get them painted to match the rest of the car in 4 days. The paint job came out great overall; there were a couple tiny areas where masking could have been better but no real complaints. Silver is a tough color to match and they got it extremely close. I’d come to this location again!

Truck looks great. Wish they would have painted around the wheel Wells and on the bottom of the truck where there is no coverage but otherwise very happy for the price.Left my license plate in the paint booth so when I got home I had realized I had been driving with no tags.Otherwise I am pleased.

We bought an inexpensive van last year for our company and had Maaco paint it to match our other vehicles. The paint was great, they were quick and professional. The paint is holding up great, and were very pleased. (I was supposed to paint the bumpers myself, but havent gotten to it yet :)Eric

Went here for a quote on paint job. It was a lot more than what we expected. Even though we didnt use them for the job, we were very impress with the customer service and the friendliness of the staff. We appreciate the no pressure, talk about it deal.

Fine job, very professional service and attitude. Had my 12 year old but really low mileage Honda Ridgeline repainted using the high end, premium service to match the original color. The final outcome is great - looks almost as good as the original paint, and after 12 years a pleasure to be rid of the historical Honda paint peel issue. Elias [owner] was great to deal with. Other than a bit of over spray and 3 spots of grit under the paint on the trunk deck the repaint of my red 92 Cavalier was excellent. Looked almost brand new.If you are looking for an affordable re-paint this is where you want to go.

Be aware and do your research, there are cheaper options out there with quality paint job. I came here a few weeks ago. The first time I came the employee (some guy with the glasses, looks like the owner/manager) was helpful. I was planning to get the paint job here for $400-$500 (from what they told me) with parts bought ahead of time. I wanted the front bumper and passenger fender painted. The guy even told me to blend the door and suggest buying a new grill. So Im like okay Ill come back here and do the job, Ill just grab the grill (only because it is cheaper buying it myself) that was missing and come back when I received it. Couple days later when I gotten the part, I came back and was told everything was $700 or more or something along the line which blew my mind because I clearly heard $400. I felt mislead and wasted my time. I told my dad and he was able to find me a cheaper quality paint job only $200 which is WAY cheaper. I also didnt need to blend my passenger door or the new grill. I wasted time and money buying parts that I didnt even need and now sitting in my storage. Felt like they were squeezing everything out of my pocket. Be careful and do your research to save yourself some money!Room for improvements: Print out a quote for the customers if they plan on coming back.

I have been calling a few places to get one of my door handles re-done because of a paint chip and I found this place. I gave it a try and was quoted by Edgar who was awesome! I ended up getting my car a day earlier than expected. However, it would have been a 5-star review if I didnt have a problem after I picked up my car. Turned it on and found a keyless system issue which I never had this issue before as my car was just a week old. Its just weird that they didnt notice this when they drove it back to the parking lot after they called me that its ready to be picked it up.I brought this up and they fixed it. All in all, it was great but had I not checked my car prior to leaving the lot, this would have been a longer conversation. In the end, the customer service was great except for this one instance. Ill give them the benefit of the doubt that maybe it was just a one-off and they didnt notice it.I would definitely consider this place again in the future.

Just had my 2002 Honda Accord painted by them. Great paint job very satisfied. They got it done by the projected time. They took the time to make sure I picked the right paint job for the color of the car. They’re super helpful and easy to talk to. Great prices and very good quality. I would definitely come back with my 1968 Mustang for them to paint.

I came to get the $499 paint special and the result came out awesome. The total for the paint job was $800 cash(I have a small 2006 scion tc) and that included sanding, prep work, and a body change. Like I said before, the result was awesome. There were no runs in the paint job which is a plus but there was orange peel. The orange peel is noticeable but the pearl in the paint does a decent job masking it. For me there was little overspray, only on my rims and tires. Very happy with the results.

Took longer than expected. Brought my vehicle to have the front bumper and two sides of my vehicle to be repaired and fixed. They only fixed two problems out three. Manager was unapologetic and had me return the following week to fix the remaining problems. Picture number 2 is the result of a so called professional repair and paint bodyshop! Will never go back nor recommend that place! Edit: The quarter panel was part of the problem that needed to be fixed and repaired which I paid for, otherwise I would not bother to bring in my vehicle to a bodyshop!

A couple people mentioned Maaco as well as seeing ads on TV. My Wife wanted to get our Toyota Tundra painted because it was an eye sore parked in front of our home. Parking it in Santa Cruz for long periods of time had eaten away the paint on the hood and roof.Edgar, at the Stockton St San Jose location who was our sales guy quoted over $3k when we first brought it over for an estimate. We got him down to $2600 including some body work (scuffs minor and one major dents) along with new rubber rain guard trim around all the windows.The work was done two days early and is pretty good except for a few small dents still showing through the new paint job. After taking the truck to a well known body shop and getting a quote for $10k, $2600 seemed good.It comes with a 2 year no questions asked warrantee as well.I’d use Maaco for auto paint again and might consider them for dents as they come along. I drive a lot...

Maaco has the best service of any body shop I’ve ever been to in this area. Edgar and Oscar have been very helpful both times I’ve needed repairs for my car. Great service and great pricing, not much else you can ask for! Highly recommend.

I posted a detailed review over a week ago -- about an employee at this Maaco location taking extra $175 from my daughter when she went to pick up the car. The owner promptly responded asking me to provide them my contact details so they could resolve my dispute -- this seemed like a nice gesture. I provided my contact details on the same day. I have been awaiting to hear from them -- I hear crickets. Two days ago, I sent a reminder e-mail to the owner -- still no response.I wonder if the owner responds in Google reviews just to make it appear that they are responsive -- only to take the discussion out of Google review space, and then do nothing.I will wait for few more days. If they do not tend to this issue, I will not hesitate to seek legal action. What they did to my daughter was grossly unfair.

Took my car here for agood amount of front end work. They were able to use aftermarket parts, which was what I wanted because my car is fairly old, and they painted it, repaired other existing dings and dents, and did it all in good time too, considering the amount of work there was. I’m definitely happy with the whole experience.

Gave me $400 estimate to repair cracked plastic on side-view mirror. When my daughter went to pick up the car, they made her pay additional $175. Not nice. They never called me to get authorization for additional cost. When my daughter informed me that she had to pay extra $175, I called them. They told me that they had already ordered the extra part as they were over 90% sure that this additional part will be needed. If they were over 90% sure for needing additional part, an honest thing to do would have been to include it in the estimate that I authorized. So, they deliberately low-balled the estimate to get the job, and then took advantage when they saw a young woman with a baby in stroller came to pick up the car. When I asked him to refund $175 to my daughter, he told me that he could not do that but will have the owner call me back. No call back so far.Incidentally, I had obtained estimates from 4 other places. One of these places had included more parts in estimate then this Maaco facility, one could see that this other place had a higher overhead (fancy office, leather sofas in reception area, etc.), and their estimate was $465. Had this Stockton Ave Maaco honestly told me that this work would cost me $575, I would have never given them my business.It is for this reason that I feel they were dishonest, took advantage of my daughter, and I feel cheated.

I had minor damage to my right front fender and Edgar went over the top, he gave me two estimates. One repair, one replace and said repairing is cheap but wont be the original shape and replacing is good because they can look for more damage if any. When they finished, it looked as if it was new, the hood and door are perfect spacing, headlights werent off. The paint was also matching. Hands down, amazing job Maaco and thank you Edgar for being very informative and for polishing my headlights👍👍

I went here for fixing scratch, they gave quick estimate and fix it within 2 days. Their rates are reasonable. They even fixed old scratch without charging extra. My car looks new again. Oscar was very courteous and helpful.

I wanted to paint my car for a low price and I wasnt really expecting to be able to fix the dents in my car. The people who i worked with were willing to help me lower the price exponentially as wall as do more to the car as well. I usually like to wait a few weeks to see if i find any blemishes or mess ups, and none have appeared. Id defiantly recommend this shop to anyone wanting to get work done on the exterior of their car.

Brought car in on Monday, August 26th for rear bumper repair and was told it’d be ready for pick up Saturday, August 31st but neither the representative nor I considered it was Labor Day weekend so no problem, being patient with them I call them after Labor Day weekend 4 times in that week from Tuesday, September 3rd all the way til Friday, September 6th only for them to keep pushing the date back with no guarantee pick up date. I was told that I’ll be called back to be updated but never received a single call and was even told they’d call me back once the car was finished but I had to call them and ask only for them tell me “oh yeah it’s ready”. Anyway cost came to $1200 which originally was $1400 after taking $100 off and settling on $1300 which then another $100 was taken off because they were sorry. Taking away from this experience, representatives had very friendly positive attitudes which I appreciate but unfortunately communication was very poor and being a young adult walking in the shop I personally feel they took advantage of that fact because I didn’t know better and I should’ve done research. All feelings aside, will never do business here again.

Salesman up sell promising factory showroom quality and paid for top tier pricing paint job but received bottom tier pricing paint job. Horrible masking and painting. Lots of paint bleeding, overspray, missing paint, gross orange peel. The result is like some high school kid learning to paint the first time. They trashed my car. My seals and hood got damaged. Facility manager is dishonest and refused to correct the problem. I plan to pursue lawsuit to get my money back for this butcher paint job and let the yelp and public know how horrible this place is

They dont have quality-assurance, so expect results seen in photo. This was after Oscar and I inspected the vehicle post-job, then handed to Elias for 3 more days for rework. Bubbles in the finish, rough spots, and random impressions/chips. Stuff was fixed only to be replaced by more damage elsewhere. $850 for basic with no insurance on their part. Your call.
