Absolute disgrace! Dont go here.Brought my car in to fix the A/C. Owner only refills refrigerant and says its fixed. A week later, the A/C is broken again. I bring it back and now he charges more money to replaces all the parts that were supposedly working. Now he has the audacity to upcharge 6× the price of the parts. Then also charges me for Refrigerant again!Save money and go somewhere else. These guys are not your friends.

Great people reasonable prices. I have been going here for some time for oil change and breaks but recently had work done which cost a couple hundred dollars. They were great and i recommend them any time.

Dont go for alignment, I took my forester there about two months ago, at the beginning everything look good, they showed me the graph of the alignment and everything look good, but after a few days things started shifting, first I noticed the rear driver wheel sunk in from the top, then the left, i took it back to them and he charged me again to look at it, he said he didnt y fix that, that i had gotten in an accident and couldnt do it. I ended up taking it to three other places just for them to look at it, they all said that it was bad, they showed me the numbers, all wheels had shifted. Finally i took it to subaru dealer where they fixed(picture). Never will I ever take my car there for anything, specially alignment.Watch for two older gentleman that work there (Asian) you will notice they have no idea what theyre doing, always going back to the shop owner to ask about everything.

I was trying to tell my problem so they know where to start and suddenly the guy said he wants $80 just to check the car without give me time to finish my explanation.

I went there to change the oil yesterday service is great price is nice. The owner is a very honest person I will definitely come back here

Very poor customer service. If they dont understand you they will hang up on your call. Very rude. I will not take my business with them. They dont even deserve a star

Did the Job quickly, but expensive.

This place is great! My radiator cracked the day before my visit while I was out. The car began to smoke but I managed to get it home without it smoking even more. I wasnt sure what was wrong hut when I brought it in the Mechanic Mr. Long was able to tell what the problem was. He showed me that it has cracked due to old age and it told me what needed to be done and how long it would take. I was there pretty early so they were able to get to my car right away. They replaced my radiator within a couple of hours-- something I though would take long enough for me to have to wait for the next day to get back. The staff was friendly and welcoming, they have many car parts they need on hand and they are able to receive their car parts orders quickly! My experience was great and Im glad I went there. My buddy recommended that place to me because of their prices and hospitality so I know Im not the only one that feels this way. I absolutely recommend this place!

I have been going to this place since the 90s for repairs that I cant make myself for lack or tools or experience. They have always remembered my name since my first visit. Now my own kids are going there. Ive read some of the reviews and yes, some of their prices are high and I have the option of going somewhere else if I dont like the price quoted. I feel the quality of work is top notch. Out of the almost 3 decades of going to this place Ive only had to take my vehicle back once for a rework and that was because the part itself was faulty, not the labor. I had to have my Pathfinder towed there once expecting them to be gone because it was late at night. I had just planned on leaving the car there with a note. But to my surprise Mr Long was there way after closing hours and welcomed me there and still checked over the car eventhough it was after 9pm. Just all in all great people.

Driving to ask the price, the boss answered the question in great detail, very warm service.

Long has great customer service and EXTREMELY knowledgeable

I took my wifes car to another to have smog done. They told I need to fix by replacing tape I used to keep a switch in place otherwise the shop will not pass me. So I took it to Del Mar Auto, they didnt mention anything about that switch. HONEST smog technician(Mr. Long).

Honest and helpful. Didnt try to bamboozle us, or rip us off in our emergency mechanical situation.

I cant express my gratitud. These fine gentlemen are as good as they come. Joquin Jr. Is such a wonderful person. I went into the shop twice and they fixed up my car at INCREDIBLE PRICE. Before I went the first time I called a few shops, and they were the cheapest. I went, got my car fixed the 1st time and then a second time and made long lasting friends, like family. Much love and success to them.Dont look anywhere else for honesty, grace and good work.Cheers!

The owners are very honest

I have been going here for years, then I come to find out they have been over charging. Im a veteran, they didnt give one discount for a customer. Frankly Im disappointed with the continuous lies about the price of service and parts. I wouldnt recommend this to anybody.

I went to the service and changed the oil. After two days, I noticed that the oil was low. After I found out that the oil could not reach the ruler, I told the boss that I was told that my car burned oil. I am thinking that my car cant burn oil faster than burning gasoline. This is clearly insulting my logical reasoning ability.I was shocked at the time.Is it so difficult to admit that there is a problem with your work?
