Great building well lit and the windows are designed with rotating themes and are an example of publications, books, artwork photos and media available for purchase within the limited but spatially maximized & utilized space. (Bins, drawers, shelves and archives full of all sorts of art and media including an incomparable collection of adult entertainment dispersed throughout the store.

Eclectic collection of old mags and memorabilia. There are originals and reprints as well, so if youre not an expert, the helpful owners will guide you. They have an interesting bunch of straight and gay magazines and books as well. The collection changes hence you may need repeat visits to find a gem that youre looking for.They also have a lovely cat!

If you are looking for some collections of lovers or are looking for a meaningful old magazine, this is an excellent place in San Francisco. Whether it is 1980 Rolling Stone or 1979 Playboy, there are a lot of past magazines. The store owners are very nice and friendly. I found a lot of stunning magazines and books. Awesome!

Great place to find old magazines for nostalgia and art projects. Current magazines in stock as well. Great variety! They also have a large collection of porn mags and videos, gay and straight. If you are looking for something specific, ask and they just might have it behind the scenes. They have a huge library! Prices are unbeatable. Oh and they also buy too.

One of the last cool book stores. This place has been around forever and Ive seen so many celebraties here its nuts. Too bad places like this are closing down becuase of on-line book stores and ebooks. I like paper book and the smell of paper books and always will.

Very knowledgeable staff. Ive been many times for old books and fashion magazines as gifts. First time, a little shocked, I was not expecting so much of the store to be erotica.
