One of the very few places in the city that you can find real magazines. Not the highly commercialized ones sold in supermarkets but interesting, informative and inspiring ones that cover art, literature, design, culture, lifestyle, travel and more.Of course its impossible to carry every title out there in this small newsstand but overall I like what they get in their selection. They also have a section for books focusing on travel guides and brand stories.Service is always friendly even if you are just browsing around.
Covid safe - 4 patrons allowed at a time. Mandatory sanitizing and masks. Contactless payment. Super friendly staff.Great selection of greeting cards, games, newspapers, magazines, gifts, stationery and beverages. I love the curated, artsy, items. You can tell someone has gone thru great lengths to select each item with intention to amplify the stores goodies for the relatively small space. What surprised me the most were the prices. They were better than most SF boutiques/stores and could even compare well with online prices.A great place to pickup cute gifts after you visit Tartine Manufactory and Heath Ceramics.
Brilliant little newsstand. Excellent range of publications, including many titles you really see elsewhere. A lovely browsing and discovery experience.
Wonderful little news stand with lots of high quality publications. Next door to Heath Ceramics and accessible through the back door of Tartine, this is a nice stop to check out some good reads.
Lol, they sell 5 newspapers. False advertisement.
