Cancel your other trips, save money, and enjoy a two-hour tasting from the owner of this wine shop with tales. The taste was made so unforgettable by his humor and enthusiasm. He is a real guy who wants to make sure that his visitors are comfortable and without any pressure to buy and just nice to meet people like him. For us, this would be a boring attraction!

Attentive shopkeeper. Great selection of chocolate that’s hard to find when you live downtown during pandemic. Thanks for being open. Come support this small business. Thank you and be safe!

Kept impeccable this store is well located and well stocked. The staff is friendly and helpful. We just dropped in for a soda but saw their inventory which is vast for a fairly small store. Check it out.

Ive had such a nice time here. Whether youre a liquor lover, or wines. All the wines seen are imported at a good price. Ok, this is the best spot for you! Really good environment to just eat, drink and chat to your mates. Its highly recommended!

Man the selection of bourbon here is wonderful. A little pricey but the customer service and delivery to hotel was top notch. Even included a free glass with my order since I was from out of town and ordered a few high end bottles of bourbon. Lifetime customer at Soma wines!

Convenient if you live the neighborhood, but prices are pretty high. Some of the beer doesn’t have a price on it so you don’t know what it costs until you bring it to the register. Others are priced seemingly at random, a few are reasonable and some are almost double what they’d cost at a major grocery store.Usually I deal with the higher prices for the easy of access, but a couple times I’ve managed to buy beer that was a few months past the sell by date. I’ll have to start checking more closely, but generally I wouldn’t expect something that’s 4-5 months past the sell by date to still be stocked at the front of the cooler.

Good little liquor store with a large wine selection, small but not bad beer selection, and a good wall of liqour. The liquor is pretty pricey, but there are some bottle here that are harder to find elsewhere. There are also some grocery and party essentials. You could easily pick up wine and all that you need for a good cheese plate.

HORRIBLE SERVICE AND HORRIBLE OWNERSI order lunch from there yesterday using Mealpal. After I scanned the bar code there, the owner refuses to give me my meal. They said my confirmation page does not look like those from other customer.I tried to reason with them, but they were completely unreceptive. At some point the woman owner got excited and dropped some ferocious remarks in Spanish, which I dont understand, but presumably it was personal insults. And the male owner wanted to engage in a phyiscal fight with me.

Firstly, like many other reviewers mentioned, go here knowing youll be paying more here than at many other (maybe larger) stores. That being said, its just so convenient! Usually if I know in advance that I have an event to go to, Ill pick something up way ahead of time. Recently though, Id forget or Id be in a rush and thats where Soma Wines & Spirits comes in. Its close to my office, so its easy to walk over and pick something up on the go. The intersection doesnt get too busy in the evenings (i.e., after rush hour) so its easy to catch a ride from there afterwards.
