Food and service were fantastic. KAYMA is a stall in La Cocina Market well worth the visit. I got a bowl with a side of olives and an orange blossom lemonade. Im very picky about olives and never eat black olives- but now I might be a convert! The restaurant is owned and run by a wife and husband who took the time to learn my name and let me taste a sample of Algerian olive oil (made from black olives). Thanks for a fantastic meal.
Wow. These guys had a food truck at an event in Dogpatch. We had a couscous bowl and the sandwich. Off the chart incredibly delicious. The baklava was awesome as well. Will definitely try to get to the restaurant in the Polk tenderloin area. Great job.
Delicious couscous bowl with veggies. Sauce had great depth of flavor. Big portion for the price.
The food is so delicious and the owners are so kind and informative! I dont know much about Algerian food, but I am learning.
Had the vegan kuskus bowl, oil cured olives, and tea. Absolutely fabulous food, great, kind people, too
Its inside a place called La Cocina Community kitchen with different countries serving there foods. Excellent
I have the pleasure of being a neighbor to Mounir and Wafa. Before I heard about Kayma, I knew them to be among the kindest and most generous people in town. Then I learned that they are amazing culinary artists! Having never had Algerian food, I was immediately intrigued and wonderfully surprised when Mounir knocked on my door and gifted my roommate and me a delicious platter of (vegan!) food. When I first googled Algerian food it didnt seem to be particularly vegetarian friendly so this was a wonderful surprise. This has happened a few times now, and we are always super excited. We cant wait to visit their SF location and show our support!
