My first experience with Westfiled was in LA and that was a lovely mall. This mall however seems dated and dingy. Walk further inside and a level down and you even lose phone reception which means dropped calls if you are on a wifi call. That was rather poor form for a mall. It does not have the modern, energetic vibe you might expect from a Westfield. The 4th level was promoted as Restaurants Under the Dome but nothing was open. As central as this location is, it lacks the vibe and buzz to attract you back or turn you into a regular visitor.

Very upscale indoor mall with 6 levels of stores. It is anchored by Nordstrom and bloomingdales. The place is very nice but being in the middle is SF parking is a hassle. You have to go to a paid multilevel parking lot. Food choices are limited. Being in a generally bad neighborhood many individual stores have their own security guards (dont worry it is safe inside)

Its a nice place to shop and enjoy other people.

One of the least dead malls Ive seen in years! Really clean and lively. Large selection of mid to upscale stores. Also a nice food court!

I like this mall but Im not sure if I like the area. Within minutes of being there, we can hear arguments and a fight trying to happen. A lot of homeless people outside (its sad) but its always very suspicious when walking around San Francisco. The streets are always busy. It takes forever to find parking so its best if you park in a parking lot or take Bart. Anyways, this is a high end mall, more of a luxurious type of environment. If you are looking for small stores that are not in that category then this isnt the mall youre looking for.

So much piped in chemical fragrance/scent. Yuck. Most restaurants not open yet (not reason for 3 stars, just fyi). One good things was the roof top terrace to eat lunch.

Food court was supposed to be for ppl who proved vaccination to eat, but the whole area was understaffed to verify vax proof. Areas that were roped off to prevent ppl just sitting down and taking off their masks were unmanned and ppl just walked around.

Huge mall SFO police very visible and not too crowded. Try the panda express for a quick bite.

Good selection of stores if you dont want to stroll around Union Square. Food court is decent, lacks variety. You need to show proof of vaccination if you want to dine in the roped off area. Parking is available in the Mission Street parking garage.

The design of the mall is very weird and congested. It’s crazy to find parking as it’s in the city. Many of the stores are closed and not many brands and stores are available here. They do not have much deals as well. The food court does not have many options. I only liked the dome here, nothing else.Westfield valley fair mall in San Jose is better than this mall. Won’t be going here again.

Not the biggest of shopping malls in the bay area by store count, but it is beautifully designed and located downtown near other fun places to be. There are an astounding nine floors with a multiplex on the fifth one.

American Eagle has the jeans I love, staff was attentive and helpful. Overall the mall has changed and they had better shoe selection for women.

It is an interesting shopping center. It has a lot of stores and a variety of restaurants that are interesting for the taste buds.

One of my favorite shopping malls/centers to go to. I had not been there for 2 years and missed seeing the place, I wont stay away as long the next time.

A shopping center built inside the old Emporium department store across Market St. from Union Square. The usual mall stores you would expect from Westfield. However these stores tend to have higher quality goods and higher prices than typical malls.

Went to Foot Locker there the only Reebok Classics they had was the black and white shoe a little to narrow! So, I went with the grey-white New Balance?

A great place to get great sneakers. The team has been always friendly.

This shopping area was great! From New York, my new Kate Spade bag arrived! I was able to choose the best pack because they had every color I needed. On the premises, there was also a lot of lovely clothes. Ive taken along a new pair of shoes. This is a shop where Ill be returning on a regular basis. The best place to shop!

Its an interesting place to shop if youre a tourist. Lots of high end shops, unfortunately some didnt survive closure due to COVID.

I loved it. I actually got lost and asked one of the security guards and a SFPD officer to find my way around the mall and they were both kind and used a friendly tone to help me find my way around the mall. So I am thankful. ❤️

I wonder if its possible to do something about the noise. Thats my only complaint. Maybe put up some sound deadening material.

Very cool Shopping Center in San Francisco I went out to a party on the top deck of the building and it was very fun recommend anybody go in there and checking it out

Nothing one thing about living in San Francisco was the annoyance of Tourists.. and now I miss them, come on tourist where are you? If any time this is the best time to come to San Francisco the weather is great oh, theres not too many people in the street only in certain areas, come on back.

Amaziing space. I didnt know it was built on top of The Emporium. You can get a $3 coffee in the basement and enjoy it in the roof top observation deck on the ninth floor.

The Burke Williams Spa staff was clearly bothered by ALL the black women there.Went there for my 50th birthday with my mom and two cousins.My cousin, who is a Contra Costa County public defender, set up a wonderful, relaxing adventure. The spa staff followed us around after our massage. It was embarrassing and humiliating. I WOULD NOT recommend this place for Black people.

Very high end with nothing but clothes, food, and like 3-5 stores that sell anything interesting. wouldnt recommend if you dont have lots of money that you want to spend on clothes or designer accessories.

Food court and the rest of the mall is pretty much deserted during this pandemic. But rest assured, itll bounce back once majority of the population is vaccinated.

Great destination place to spend a whole day. Lots of food choices on concourse level. Ride the cable car back to Fishermens Wharf.

Still kicking despite the pandemic and the slow destruction of malls. Has big brand name stores that you typically find - bloomingdale’s, Nordstrom’s, Zara’s, etc… I think the real standout is the food court and dining options, but that’s a San Francisco mall for you.

This is shoppers paradise! It has everything. The mall is new and bright, has an amazing variety of stores and an incredible variety and selection of places to eat in the food fair. Located 5 minutes from Powell Street and Union Square, its centrally located.

As far as urban malls go, this is one of my favorites. Quite large and plenty of good shops inside. If you cant find something there, union Square is right across the street.

Omg this was the best in taste and quality would definitely recommend this place and I plan on going back

A mall with a variety of options that includes well known names and local shops. Definitely a all-in-one type of mall. Bathroom layout on the (BART level) is quite interesting as it seemed to be designed to create more social interactions. Food options are great here and you might be overwhelmed by them! More signage could be helpful for this mall as if you can easily get lost if you dont pay attention to the signs which can be hard to find/read as well.

Nice place, lots of premium brand shops. Just lots of homeless and security guards constantly running around to try and get them out of the building. On our visit one decided to start screaming at passers by. Ive never seen a security guard run so fast. :)

Spiral escalator quite neat plus a pleasant shopping ambiance. Food court is interesting. One can find just about everything here, from souvenirs to cheap Japanese gadgets and all fashion needs/wants.

This is probably the most comprehensive shopping mall in SF or maybe the West coast!! 5 floors and anchored by Bloomberg and many variety of shops which I like. The many cafes and eateries plus food court adds variety attracts many both locals and tourists... enjoy

Huge shopping mall with tons of stores at your disposal.It actually fits most, if not, all your needs.Good restaurants are inside it and also all sorts of stores from cheapest to the most expensive, at your disposal.I would love more bathrooms as it tends to be a tad scarce when in need.It sometimes hosts different events that will help time fly by as soon as you say Westfield San Francisco.

Definitely the best indoor shopping mall in San Francisco. Not only does it have all of your normal shops that you like to shop at regularly, but it has some very high-end shops that well. The best part about this mall... Was the amazing food court. Gourmet food at its finest!

I ordered online and received bonus for using curbside pickup at Nordstrom. Also ordered the Bread pudding dessert from cafe to pick up. It was delish. Fast service friendly staff.

Love Marshals and MK store. Marshals had s great selection of clothes and MK had shoes to die for! The mall has good sized food court with plenty of options for grabbing a quick bite

Great mall. Wasnt very busy on a Sunday. Covid still keeping people away, I assume.

Mall is fine. Good options. But i had a friend in a cast and we had huge trouble to get to the movies. Elevators are all spread around, the stairs elevator was broken. Also, nowhere near to park.

Love this mall! A huge plus is its direct underground access to Muni and Bart within the mall. It has a large selection of amazing brands, hip stores and multiple food options, and in a very convenient central location! Right outside are the cable cars and more outdoor stores. Yes, there are a lot of tourists and shoppers especially on weekends, but if you go during the weekdays, crowds are much smaller and shopping is a much peaceful experience.

Pretty crowded.. wear mask at all times. Totally functionally though.

Don’t come here. I just got robbed of a backpack with 2 computers and 1 iPad and the security agent told me that it happens at least 3 times a day. Keep far and chose another mall with better security.

A lot of businesses have closed down inside now, especially restaurants. I would recommend only eating here for a lunch or light snack. Nordstrom’s is humongous here, your whole day would pass by. Enter Bloomingdales only if you’re ready to be constantly asked by customer service. Overall a pretty nice mall.

This shopping center appealed to me more than others. I went to this shopping complex two days ago and had a fantastic time.

Just one broken escalator or in this case two can make exiting a very long walk and confusing process. Looks like the mall has made a lot of changes and a lot of empty spaces at the moment.

This mall is dying a slow, painful death, no thanks to Amazon and Covid. It’s actually a bit depressing.
