I went to the store to buy specific items I found online. Before coming to the store I checked online availability of these items. When I came to the store, I was not able to find it and asked staff for help. Sales person checked items in his device and confirmed they have it. He said I’ll ask if someone can bring it to you, then he connected with someone and finally told, everyone is busy and cannot assist you. What??? I asked where I can find it and he said it should be brought from the back…. And as a result I spent time and left with empty hands. No one really cares about customer…
Some of employees dont know that they need to greet and say bye to all of their customers. They pick customers based on their color, outfit and purchase. Sad but true. US should go to Canada and learn some customer service!!!!
Zara is my absolute favorite store to go too. Except the one in San Francisco, CA. My first time there, and most likely the last time.1. Security Guard- gotta clean him up. He looks like a rent a cop for a .99 cents store. If your going to hire security, they should look like it. He was polite saying hello.2. Womens section is on the ground level. The mens department with baby clothes is downstairs. Variety for mens clothes, business, professional, clean and sleek look was miniscule. More tees and jeans as well as casual shoes. Gentleman folding clothes greeted me, so thats nice. Found a trench coat Ive been wanting but seems to miss that certain something that keeps you from buying it. Well i found mine. Very happy! 3. Two sales associates were shop talking and no greet or an offer of help. I walked right by them. Got to the cashier and it seemed at first he was buying some items. Than I took a 2nd look. He was returning a bag full of clothes. Think a picnic basket!! I stuck around and watched everyone else organize clothes and hang shirts up but no offer to open a register to get those sales or offer to help her organize ( she returned, hung the item, handed a receipt back and started over again ). Maybe 10 mins, I went upstairs to cash out. Now yes it was a longer line and three cashiers were there, but it was a tiny tiny wait.I was really surprised overall with this store.Reason why I mention greets- dont you want to be recognized instead of made to feel, ugh, why are you here or ignored all together? Wouldnt you like suggestions or made known theres a sale going on?Part 2:I had to go back two weeks later due to my trip out to Alaska and realized i had not even tried on the jacket though Im normally a L. Well my chubby self needed an XL. So i called up Zara and spoke with Leo. Super cool on the phone and even more kind and professional in person. I asked him if i could come in and trade what had not been worn. Without hesitation he said, absolutely . He issued an invite to come on in and it will not be a problem at all. Few hours later i was there for my exchange and not only was i greeted ( you know how i feel about being ignored but another great sales associate was there ) by Alex. Alex did the exchange and Leo stopped by midway to say hello. My rating of 2 starts went to 4. Because of these two, my opinion of this store has met exceptions on what a great salesman is but also an amazing people person! Thank you guys very much@!
Because a horrible customer experience you guys get 1 star. Retail at an actualStore is about being personable staff, welcoming behavior and politeness . I gotNothing but a nasty, unpleasant and helpless person at the register, made my entire experience uncomfortable and walked out very disturbed. The woman had a red/orange hair and she looked Hispanic. I am just dumbfounded about her service skills, she seems very mad at people and the world. You can even see it through the her mask.I should shop online rather and not visit this store again. Very disappointed and sad about this.
I love Zara and the store in Downtown SF has good stuff. SF opened up after one year covid and u can finally use the fitting rooms again in any other shop except this Zara. Unfortunately i will go and spend my Money in shops where i can try on or will oder online, hassle free.
The service and inventory here is spotty. Sometimes great, other times not
Not enough registers open. They need better staff
My to go to store, there is just tons of options and I love the staff!
Its a nice department store ☺
The employees are unfortunately what has turned Zara into not expecting good customer service from any of their staff. Everything is a bother to them, no eye contact, no intentions of even hiding how bothered they are to help us at the register, or even say hi, and the list goes on. If it wasnt because we like the brand we wouldnt even come here. Never a pleasant shopping experience unfortunately
This location is a mess, the clothes are throw everywhere like a rummage. And the staff are no where to be found. Terrible
Unable to try clothing today. Was told it is a covid policy!!!!This is such an invalid excuse when all other stores next door, Banana Republic, Ice Breaker..etc..allow people to try apparels!Zara, really!
Ridiculous line and none of the staff are willing to check sizes or do their job
Inga, the manager of the kid’s department provided zero customer service and had the worst attitude I have ever experienced. I visited this location in SF and was frustrated by dismissive, unfair, and otherwise unacceptable customer service. I came in to exchange an item for a larger size and was denied the request. I had the receipt and it had only been one day since I purchased the item. The location I had originally purchased the item had it selling for a lower price. Inga said she won’t honor those prices because her store sells it for higher. She rudely refused to do anything about it. I told her I will keep the item in that case and exchange it in the original store, even though it’s a huge inconvenience. She went ahead and returned the item without my permission and I demanded I get my item back at my original price. Absolute horrible experience and will not be visiting this location ever again.
Customer service doesn’t exist at the store level. Don’t bother traveling to this location or any location to have your defect items exchanged. Simply a terrible update to their policies.
The clothing does generally tend to be cheap in quality and materials once in a while you can find a quality piece that meets with your standards of clothing.
I love this brand. Good price for good quality. A large store with several floors, a huge selection of things for every taste. Many new products, stylish shoes and clothing accessories. I was with a friend, she bought a lot of good things, unfortunately I don’t, there are not always my sizes. Basically, I have to order items from ZARA online. There are always my sizes in stock online. Satisfied.
Like I just stated .... Zara shut down their fitting rooms due to covid-19 which practically makes it next to impossible for me to shop
On sales items r worth.
There wanted much in stock ...
I come into the shop to return a product that I bought a week ago. The product had not been used and the men’s department floor manager wouldn’t honor their 30 day return policy. He wouldn’t even review the product asked me to read out loud the return policy which clearly says “ ZARA will gladly accept returns or exchanges of new, unworn, unwashed and unaltered merchandise “. I walked into a different ZARA at Westfield mall and they simply honored my return no questions asked.
Great, great sale.Loved it!
Great place staff is amazing
Great clothing line. Fits most guys who wear Small to large. Anything bigger you need to go somewhere else. Quality of clothing and price is great for San Francisco.
If you love Zara you will love this location.
My favorite store!
I find that Zara has a very nice selection of designer style clothing for an affordable price. Additionally, I find that as a man with a slim build, Zara has a lot of clothing that fits people with my body shape. I do a lot of shopping there and I would recommend Zara to anyone that is looking for some dressier clothing with some pizazz.
I didn’t like the way that I was approached by one of the employees. Was approached very rudely by an employee when I was trying on a sweater over my clothes. I understand that due to Covid 19 every store has a different policy in which you can try on clothes over your clothes or not. I’ve been to two different Zara stores before this one and it was completely fine to try on over your clothes in which I thought it was ok to do at this store as well but apparently not. Many other customers were trying clothes on as well. The lady that worked there that has orange red hair and was working in the 2nd floor kid’s department that day approached me and told me I couldn’t try the clothes on, I said ok and I apologized. I took the rest of the clothes I was going to buy with me downstairs to purchase. As I was walking to the escalators I see the lady at the corner of my eye glaring at me. I’m here like ok and I just ignore it. I’m downstairs now and tell me why I see that same employee right behind me everywhere I go now. I go to the front of the store she’s right there, I go to the back of the store and she’s right there behind me as If I was going to do something. Lady I was very clear when you said that I couldn’t try on the clothes and I said I was sorry doesn’t mean you need to follow me everywhere. At that point I was getting mad so I left my items and left the store. This has been one of my favorite Zara stores here in the Bay Area and never have I been treated like this. Service has always been good but not today. Please teach your employees how to approach these situations better. Otherwise you’re just gonna be getting more upset customers like me.
Zara store in SF is really one of the best store. Each floor has items based on the gender and age. Only thing is that kids section has very limited collection to choose and pick. Other than that. Its all good.
I usually go to Westfield mall at downtown to shopping, Zara is my familiar shopping destination. Clothes are great, employees are very nicely and have professional service.
Good Zara location that was organized for the most part. Pretty central for the shopping area of San Francisco. Zara in general has good stylish clothes that are great value. I always get compliments on my Zara pieces.
I absolutely love this Zara. Great selections, spacious and friendly. I work nearby so I always stop in for a purchase. I want to personally thank Gaby one of the associates. He goes above and beyond with customer service. I walk in and he makes the time to help me put an outfit together. Thank you Gaby and the whole team at Zara.
Very helpful personnel in the store will try to assist you with queries about availability and particular product codes, but pay attention: the warehouse and availability checks are subject to synchronization delays which might leave them out of date. Also double check about the advertised price tags and the big tags on the stands, they might not match and the price on the larger ones, if lower, will not be honored, and after enquiry the tag will be used.
This store is great for smaller guys. Everything fits quite well. The styles are nice and modern. The quality seems pretty good. The sales staff were very friendly and helpful.
There isnt an American retailer that natches Zaras excellence. I love their clothes and sense of style. and the price is not just right it is perfect at least for having style in a budget. I have never had issues shopping at any of their stores but I would like to see more in San Francisco. The one on Post is the only one now maybe opening one Union Street? or Fillmore?
I love Zara. Always have. This Zara has baby clothing which we were searching for at the Zara located at the mall near by but they didnt have them. So luckily we found this one. Good selection. Great styles for all ages.
I love European zara but here in the usa something is off about the store, tho I got 2 very nice dresses on recent sale
This is literally the WORST service I’ve ever had in a store in my entire life. Never come here, EVER! Unless you want to wait in line for an hour to pay for your clothes. There are three registers, but they outright refused to open the other two even though the line was careening around the store. There are tons of salespeople just standing around doing literally nothing while the customers have to wait in one line to pay. I asked multiple people to please open the other registers, but they would not. Worst place on the planet. I hope they go out of business.
Love that store..but had a long to make my purchase 1 cashier with 5+ customers in line..WTH
BEWARE OF SHOPPING ONLINE WITH ZARA!Their online customer service is disappointing! And its an absolute mess during the holidays. I returned a skirt that didnt fit and they refused to refund my purchase. They claimed that it was not received at their warehouse but Im fairly certain they lost my shipment and will not take responsibility. Please take caution, and take photos if you do return your items online. Their service is incredibly slow to respond and do not truthfully reply. My first purchases with Zara back in 2010 were amazing but Ive only seen their quality go down. I guess thats expected with a fast fashion retailer. I hope Zara can one day fix their nightmarish system!
Zara store its nice and good collection but very bad customer service so rude people working 250 Post street, Sanfrancisco I was that store many time but today was the first time they gave me bad service 😢😢Also manager she is doesnt know how long it took me to get my clothes then it also took 40 minutes to checkout because the had to do it again. The maneger was telling us change the 20 dollar bill because it had a little rip and she told us if you dont we will kick you out from our store. Im very stressed because before they had good service.
Pretty decent collection of interesting mens stuff downstairs, with good prices.
Changing rooms wont let you change in the mens section if youre a female or vice versa. Not on board with this policy and with SF being so gender neutral friendly this seems super old school. Lets just be frank, I want to show my man the clothes were buying before checking out and same for him. Not to mention its particularly annoying because the changing rooms are in fact individual stalls.
We all love products of ZARA..dont we?.I love the collection, sizes and availability.. What I hate is the customer service. It would be really nice if you could please switch to self checkouts and find your price machines...It would save customers some real annoyance of having to deal with the store folks. Even when the store is crowded they keep 1 register open and act like they are doing customers a big favor of assisting at the registers.
Awesome stuff
Love the clothes here. Its my go to place for cute tops and coats. This location is especially nice because theres a section for guys downstairs and a kids section upstairs.
I was in Vegas, flew to SFO Zaras after Christmas sale. So far from the zaras stores in San Francisco and the post Street store and market Street stores found $500 worth $25 sales bargains. So when I get back to New York, I wont be behind in the bargins
Love the tailored pants specially the printed ones. It gives a person with added style and flavor. Trousers should be playful.
Wonderful but no AC and poor employees had to wear jackets. It was a hot day in and out
Worst customer experience ever. Waited 30 minutes in line, then they wouldnt let me make my return because the original credit card I used to purchase the item was stolen. Apparently their computer system hasnt been updated since the dot com era and cant submit refunds unless you have the *exact* form of original payment. Never again.
Don’t go there! Very rude service, I tried to buy a jacket, they’re just look at you like you’re going to stole something, and you feel so uncomfortable, one guy who works there was so rude asking me if I was going to buy something, they don’t let you try their stuff, bad services
My favourite brandGreat fitting, so many optionsTheir Jeans is awesome i have no other brandToo bad they don’t have restrooms inside for such a big storeEverything rlse is good
I always find something to buy here
Big place with excellent customer service.
I love this store, maybe because Im European and I feel like home when I shop here. They have beautiful design and it is not overpriced.
Is OK. Nice looking stuff but not designed to last. Only designed to last the season. Staff are fine. Best to shop during sale season as it OK regularly priced.
Fast fashion
I have been shopping at Zara since I first discovered them in 2006. I really love the stores style and the quality is great for the price. Unfortunately, the poor customer service at the store in Union Square will keep me from going back to this location. At other Zara stores Ive been to the associates are friendly and helpful. At this location, I felt like I was bothering them if I asked for their help. Further, the women who rang me up barely said two words to me. Maybe the associates at this store are used to dealing with a lot of tourists and therefore dont place value on customer service. I live in San Francisco and this is the closest Zara to me so, the customer service does matter. I never write reviews on stores but the disinterested attitude of the employees here really turned me off and I wont be shopping at this location in the future.
Highly satisfying workmanship, reasonable prices, and a joyfully rendered full line of clothes. Designs are bold, whimsical, stylish, but also practical. Its no wonder why this Spanish headquartered store is thriving while other design houses and retailers are struggling as they dumb down and imitate each others mediocre half sewn garbs. Instead of the shoddy, lumpy, uneven, workmanship weve become accustomed from the main source of imported clothes, workmanship at Zaras is done in Tunisia, Morocco, and Portugal. They also seem to use a better quality of textiles and paying more attention to a respectable finished product rather than the cheapest mass production to pawn off on an increasingly unaware public that doesnt remember a time when clothes werent flat, cheap, glued together, and disposable. New products premier all the time. Lots of shoes and boots too.
The stuff is super slow!!!!!
Not only good for the ladys, the appeal for man is also very awesome. I bought my coat here and It is totally worth it! Come and check this place out, you will find something you like.
The workers here barley had any eye contact with customers which gave of an rude impression. Clothes were messy, piled everywhere and slow customer service. On the positive side, their clothing was very stylish and fabric was nice, as expected of Zara.
Great collection. Met Harpreet managing the cash, very sweet and friendly. Overall a good experience.
I love love Zara, and Zara is my favorite brand. But I really disappointed with the employee that work at the fitting room here today (12:00pm) the short girl, she talk so rude when first I enter the fitting room and after that I request for her to check whether they have any new of this shirt (because it cover with make up at the collar the person before me try it) she looks at me talk to me with annoying sound after 15mins I ask her again that anyone go check for me and she just said “ya go wait there” Omg...completely zero service mind!
I work nearby so I go there all the time, today I just had the worst experience ever with one of their cashiers. When I tried to check out, I saw a sweater all the way at the end of the cashier desk, I pointed and ask if I can take a look at it, and the 6f tall guy said, go ahead! Was that HIS JOB to bring it to the customer? VS a 6 MONTH PREGNANT WOMEN CUSTOMER get it by herself? I went all the way down to grabbed the sweater and told him I didn’t like it, he THREW it back right in front of me. 🤷♀🤷♀And when I tried to swipe my card, there is an error occurred, I waited for 1 minute didn’t know what’s going on, he acted very impatient and said “JUST READ THE SCREEN!” I wonder why Zara hires someone like this RUDE. especially as a Pregnant woman I feel very disappointed and upset, Won’t go there again, and I certainly should get his NAME post here.
Don’t go there! Very rude service, I tried to buy a jacket, they’re just look at you like you’re going to stole something, and you feel so uncomfortable, one guy who works there was so rude asking me if I was going to buy something, they don’t let you try their stuff, bad servise
Wot is there to say perfect clothes friendly staff perfect
Great clothing, styles, design, fabrics, and quality, and is inexpensive. The only problem is its made for aliens. Because of the euro slim cut I sometimes have to get 2 sizes up. Where Im usually a medium, some jacket I tried in an xl was too small.
Geat
I love Zara clothing. Its surprisingly affordable, some of the clothing is beautifully embellished & others simple chic, fresh designs, the sales are amazing, a fun place to shop
Great spot for clothes ask for micheal he will keep you looking amazing really great customer service
Good selection, but the staff thete all need new employment. Not one smile and not one offer to assist.
Great deals, womens tuxedo pants fit like a glove, I wore them with a black backless bodysuit to SF North Beach, and felt so sexy I visited the Hungry I strip club to check out the talented dancers
My first time here and I love this store. We need one in NC.
Online shopping sucks! I waited forever for them to bring my package at the store on Post Street! First time, I waited for 30 minutes and had to leave without my package! I came back and I have been waiting for another 20 minutes and no orders coming down at all. Kind of tiring and frustrating. Even worse, after I received my package, the guy who helped me asked me to sign in the small machine and he himself rated his service with the happy face. How dishonest!
Love their clothes.Fashionable, very affordable!European sizes, fits like a glove on the first try. I can finaly find pants that fit me😄
I love the clothes and when theres a seasonal sale you can really get some great deals. The customer service is awful. I hate to have to try anything on b/c the fitting room line is always ridiculous and checking out is just as bad. I waited in line once for 15 mins only for the cashier to close the line as it was my turn. There were several people waiting in line behind me I couldnt believe it! I would suggest shopping online.
Not a bad place to stop by and get some nice quality mens clothing. I got a suit here for graduation and spent a good amount of money, but worth it.
Always well organized. Love their collection.
Great place staff can be a little friendlier.
Love Zara and their style of clothes...
I bought a sweater at noontime. However when I got home and took it out, I found the lines inside the collar are off, so I decided to go back to the store at once. Its only been several hours after my purchase, I came to the counter, it was a slick haired man.He took the sweater without even checking the receipt, then he small-talked to a women beside with only winks and gestures as signal, and then the man spoke to me in a very discredit way. He told me that the sweater had been WORN OUT! but I havent even worn it and the tag was still on! and he was trying to tell me they have no responsibility to make an exchange! Its ridiculous.. I told him its only been hours ago and showed him the receipt. He finally checked the receipt.. and not even apologized. He then said oh.. so you want a quick exchange.I strongly felt disrespected! Avoid the slick haired guy at any cost. I would give no star if the rating system allowed.
This Zaras is great! Granted the Fashionistas know it and tend to go here first other than the store in the Westfield so get here quick and grab fast. The service is always helpful - even though there is usually only 2 people roaming the floors downstairs but they always have a smile and usually know their stuff when it comes to dressing hip and up-to-date. The prices are reasonable for a middle-of-the-way fashion line competing with big names. No need to break the bank - just grab an outfit and some accessories and youre good till the new issue of Vouge comes out.
Came here for order pick up, which is located in the lower level (mens clothing), and you can ask any sale associate for the pick up.But for fitting room, I have to go back to the 3rd floor to try it.Then for return, I need to head back to the 2nd floor (ground level).Set up is not very convenience.
Fashionable design. Looks great. But very low quality. Very inconvenient return and exchange policy.
Love the zara jeansss so much
The store was ambient, tidy, and warm and most of the sales associates were helpful and friendly.
Try H&M before Zara you will get similar good quality dress at 40% cheaper price
This zara is overpriced due to it being downtown. It puts full price on same items that other zara locations have sale on
Nice clothes for men, but the store needs more fitting rooms ASAP.
I feel store makes it a point to hire staff with the worst unhelpful attitudes. Are they paid less and hate their job or is that the management’s philosophy? 9/10 of the staff members should not work in retail. Zara Management: learn how to hire from Banana Republic!
Such a mess!! I like a good hunt for value, but there are empty hangers, half hanging stuff, and stuff all over the place. I cant even.
Trendy affordable and it fits. Sales are really good so wait on it
It as amazing all the clothes I choose fit and my whole wardrobe is filled with Zara 😀😀
On-trend but super affordable and nice quality. They kind of copy certain runway show looks
I liked the clothing and all, but the guy at the checkout does not know how to talk to customers
This place was pure madness when I visited. Nothing like the other locations Ive been to. Didnt feel high-end at all.
Every guy in the Bay Area comes here. Its like barbies closet for gay guys. Buy the new arrivals only.
Although this store is very busy, it is also trendy and offers quality clothing at reasonable prices. You can usually find hidden gems in the SALe rack! All you need to do is look!
