Love the GrilledCheezGuy! They have donated their time and delicious food for a couple of non-profit events I’ve managed. Their food is always a hit! I can’t thank them enough for their generosity and incredible grilled cheese options!

This place ROCKS! The staff is friendly and efficient. The grilled cheeses are SO YUMMY. I can’t wait to go back for more with more people. The owner is so nice and funny. He really loves giving back to the community and feeding the homeless. These grilled cheeses are made with love.

I have no idea what the food tastes like because they left the event I hired then to work before ever serving a sandwich. They left without calling. They just left! What outdoor food vendor in SF shows up at Fort Mason with no weights to hold things down in case of wind? I’m beyond disappointed.

Tasty but too small and way too expensive for the size of sandwich. Left hungry with an empty wallet type feel after eating this grilled cheese. I get it you gotta turn a profit but feeling ripped off....and still hungry.

A year ago I was at Off The Grid: Presidio Picnic and their food truck was stationed their. The GrilledCheezGuy is legit an amazing guy with a big heart. I use to work the Off The Grid events and so we started off talking about it and since Off The Grid event was coming to a wrap he gifted me a grilled cheese sandwich for free. I had a friend visiting SF for the first time that was amazed at the kind experience and how delicious the grilled cheese sandwich was especially with their unique spicy jam. Ive been recommending The GrilledCheezGuy to all my friends/family that come out to visit me ever since!

Super warm and inviting staff. They just want you to feel like family here. In SF thats totally a rarity. Really awesome decor and artwork too! With how awesome the menu and vibe was Im surprised this place wasnt packed! Definitely coming back here when i need my comfort food fix!

Theres literally no contest. This is the best grilled cheese in the entire Bay Area. Hes won first in national grilled cheese competitions. A portion of his proceeds go to feeding the local homeless. He feeds them from his own storefront, from his own pocket. Hes a stand-up guy with a heart of gold. Dont let the location deter you. Its worth the trip.

The GrilledCheezGuy is a great guy, very friendly and welcoming. His sandwiches are Aaaamazing. On my tour from Germany I got tipped off that its a local secret spot, a bit hidden, but worth it! And yummy, I would go there again any time. So, if you stay in San Francisco, you gotta try this!

I had the pleasure of working with GrilledCheezGuy(s) at a special event last night. Their pop up catering is on point! Delicious sandwiches and all of the guys were friendly and very easy to work with. 5 stars accross the board!

This place is delicious. Would follow the food truck around and now its a brick and mortar around the corner from my office! The menu is rotational for a great variety, the servings are generous and the quality is phenomenal. Awesome cheesecakes, brownie and toffee dessert options too...if you want something other than more cheese please.

Had two very good grilled cheese sandwiches at Faction Brewing in Alameda. The additions (bacon; tomato; arugula; etc.) are definitely worth the extra cost. Be aware that they can, and do, run out of ingredients.

The one star is not a testament for the food, but for the poor attitude from the staff/owner, who effectively lost his temper at my group for not telling them how we heard of the restaurant. We told him friends two times, but he must not have heard us. In any case, its not something to get upset over, and the fact that he did so easily isnt a sign that customer service is of value to their establishment.

Great place for all CHEESE LOVERS. The sandwiches are great. The staff and owners are super friendly. If your looking for a great sandwich this is a great place to come or order out.

Straight up, world-class grilled cheese. The classic cant be beat (although Im still due to same the nacho sando) . Only place in the city Im happy to actually spend money on a cheese sandwich.Owner has an attiude problem - way too friendly and snarky to be hanging out in a weird back alley making delicious sandwiches ;).

I’ve eaten at their stand at the A’s game twice, and I want to start out by saying that the food is actually very good, but the service was terrible. The second time they lost my ticket so I waited around for like 30 minutes and when I asked about it they did not apologize and continued to make other orders before mine. Just totally ignored me and did not apologize once. I eventually just had to ask for my money back. Just horrible service.

After taking days, literally, to make a choice from the menu of The Grilled Cheeze Guy, we finally narrowed it down to the Napa, the Frenchy and the Roast Beefy.These sandwiches went way beyond our expectations.This included surprise Dessert Grilled Cheese with Fresh Blueberries!It’s very obvious there is a true passion for their craft that Micheal and anyone associated with this establishment emanates, not only for the food experience, but for the quality people experience.Everyone went well out of their way to accommodate our need for Cheeze!Thank you

Horrible waste of time & money. Went to Faction Brewing on 5/5 & was so excited to grab a grilled cheese. Ended up waiting in line for 45 minutes to have my order called. Waited patiently as over 20 people came and went with the exact same things I ordered. When I tried to check on my order, all I got was, “In a minute, bro.” Finally, when my order was ready, to make it right I was offered nothing but a cold, non-gooey, non-melty grilled cheese. Thanks for $33 of nothing.
