I needed a new battery for my Google Pixel 3. I walked in, a friendly person named Henry, told me it would cost $99, and take an hour. An hour later, my phone was good to go. Really good experience.

I came here twice about a year apart. First time I needed full screen/frame/back repair and second time I needed to replace the wireless Qi pad inside which prevented charging of my phone and other issues. Mike and Henry are top notch. Mike repaired my phone both times but Henry helped out the second time. Both are very knowledgeable. Its expensive so brace yourselves. But if you need your phone working and repaired quickly, they are tough to beat. Both repairs took about 30-60 min.

Fast and friendly service! My phone battery wouldnt hold a charge. They replaced my battery with a new one and charged it. It only took an hour for the repair and a short time to charge the new battery. This is a short walk to Haight Street and many shops and restaurants are in the direct area around the shop.

They have fixed both my phone screen and my surface pro screen. I called about a dozen other places and nobody in the city said that they could fix a surface pro. But they did it quickly, timely, and super cheap. Great place and super friendly guys!

I was very pleased with the service given by this place. They were rapid, through and very reasonably priced. I brought them 2 phones a ZTE blade a and a Motorola MOTO G6 power. I was surprised they were able to fix the ZTE due to the Trumpist restriction on ZTE parts and phones but they did and for the Motorola I watched the service agent work on the phone the last five minutes and he was very good at what he did. Interestingly it was the Motorola which parts had to be ordered for. High Marks all-around. You cant go wrong coming here. I recommend that if possible you come during the week Mon-Friday as on weekends they are very crowded.

Great people, great service and they are honest and upfront with you. I broke my phone quite a few times (Google pixel 2 XL) with my broken screen and the back black glass portion of the phone. Its also a convenient place next to a cafe as my repairs have roughly been more or less an hour. Honestly I cant tell the difference from a new phone experience with the replacement. This is comming from a gal who thinks she can repair certain parts of her phone and gets way to over confident and messes something up. Highly recommend this place and get what you paid for. Sure the screen on this phone was costly but it would be more costly to get a new phone.

I ran over my daughters iPhone XS and it had a demolished screen with no touch input. I brought it into Hennry at Fixmyphone on cole Street and he had it completely repaired within an hour. The rates charged were completely reasonable and the service was absolutely professional. On top of that, I asked for a receipt the next day to satisfy my aftermarket warranty and he was great at providing that for me as well.I wont hesitate to use them again, even though there might be a closer phone repair shop to me.

Fixed my wifes cellphone, worked great until we needed to replace the screen again and discovered that Fix My Phone SF used superglue to hold the screen in when they did the replacement, not the typical double sided adhesive. So now the simple screen replacement she needs requires replacement of the midframe too because of how much superglue Fix My Phone SF used. The techs at the second store were appalled anyone would use superglue, let alone this much. Clearly shortcuts were taken.Upside - the new screen worked after Fix My Phone SF replaced it. Downside - it took longer than expected and they cheaped out on the repair which is now costing me more down the line.

The first time I was really confused about the different options and the man working patiently showed me the alternatives. No pressure to buy either one, I asked which he would get and he said half the customers get the cheaper one and the other half get the more expensive one, its just a matter of preference.

So, I was walking actually rushing from the MUNI stop to Fix My Phone SF which to my surprise was only a half block away yesterday evening around 6:00 P.M. Remind you the establishment closes at 5:00P.M. Another piece of information is the establishment also sells, rents and fixes bikes. Thats the reason I was heading to this location. I work for Postmates and they offer a great deal on leasing a genZe electric bike worth over $3,000 which Fix My phone SF is a distributor for them. Back to the story. When I got to the door it was locked. I knocked not once not twice but three times. No one answered so I thought they were gone for the evening but to what my wondering eyes should appear a gentleman walking a beautiful Maltice and no he wasnt with 8 tiny reindeer, down the sidewalk. When the gentleman approached he mentioned that the store looks as though it was closed. I kind of got the hint that he was the owner. He introduced himself as Michael. He then said Well Im kind of going home right now I have a really important date. He let me know that I would have to come back the following day. I explained to him that I just came from San Jose all the way to San Francisco to pick up a bike that I reserved through Postmates. I explained to him also that my transportation was chaotic and I should have been there five hours earlier but was held up because my dog was sick. He then stated Come on in! Let me tell you he was so generous and helpful and took his time to explain my lease and the specs on the bike knowing he had to be somewhere else. In fact he received a phone call during our transaction and I could hear the other person on the line requesting his presence. He explained to the person on the other line that he was going to finish helping me and get home as soon as possible. Now let me tell you that is great customer service to have someone go out of their way and stay a half an hour after they closed an hour before hand. I would highly recommend this place for your phone or bike needs and to top it off his prices are competitive to say in the least. What I mean by competitive is low price with quality work. The most honest and kind people Ive met. They first fixed my screen on my pixel 2 XL in less than an hour. The screen had a tiny defect, that I would have never noticed, and they immediately let me know and gave me a $30 discount. When my phone had a speaker problem after the screen replacement, they immediately looked into and realized something had gone wrong during the repair. They replaced my phone with a brand new one in less than 3 days. Their 90 day warranty is legit, they know what theyre doing and theyre extremely honest and helpful. The part needed for my phone repair came in a day early which was great since I am traveling. The owner called me right away to let me know. He fixed it right away as I walked in. Very fast, efficient and knowledgable. Kind and friendly place. Would recommend to everyone!!

If I could leave no stars, I would. My phone was here for two months and I received a call saying it was ready to be picked up, then they said it wasnt, then it magically was. I finally got my phone back and all of my information was erased and the password was changed. I reset it and itwit let me login to my Google account that was previously logged into the phone. I cant even use it anymore so I wasted money and possibly got my phone hacked in to.

Easy, great service. Really fast and fairly priced. I came in to get an old iPhone 5S screen replaced and a particularly messed up Galaxy S7 screen and back replaced. The replacement 5S screen seemed to have a defect (one part of one edge wasnt responsive) so they replaced it again with a working part, no questions asked (90 day warranty with receipt). They rightfully diagnosed the S7 battery also needed replacing (it wouldnt turn on) and did that too for the cost of the battery ($25). Altogether, I paid $375 and now I have two working phones - one with a fresh battery - instead of paying $700-900 for a new S9 or Pixel 2.

Very fair. Very nice. They confirmed they had the part I needed (thought I needed) over the phone. And they tried to fix the phone. It is unfixable. Scam. Avoid this place. Charged me over $300 to replace a screen. Said there was a 3 month warranty. It worked for one week, then started glitching and became unusable within a day. When I took the phone back, they said that it was my fault that it work because it had been hit. It hadnt. They simply make stuff up in order to avoid honoring the warranty.

Dropped my Nexus 6P after having bought it 2 months ago. Fully protected except for the volume button. I contacted FMP and got a quote from Michael. A gentleman and gave me a quote. Was at the store at 10:30 and was graciously greeted left my phone and was thanked for my patronage. I did have to call to see if it was ready but so minimal. Thank you for your time. And to Justin. If you dont want your phone to be broken, dont sit on it, crap.

I highly recommend this place. Great repair team, diligent, helpful. They back up their screen repair for 90 days (exclusion of water damage & fractured screen). My iPad screen was not working right, I could not type any longer. They replaced the screen and replaced as well another defective part without charging me more than the initial $119 told.Job was done in 2 hours same day. All is well now. Thank you.

I have had 4 apple screens repaired at this store and each screen has re-cracked with no reason. They say to keep your receipt and without it, no warranty- there are far better services around. I’ll never go back!

I had a broken home button.Apple told me to replace the phone.These guys fixed it for me for $50. This was awesome.The repair did something to break the phones ability to charge. I took the phone back the next day, and they cheerfully resolved the problem free of charge. (In this case the cables just needed to be re-seated).This excellent resolution of a repair issue makes me think very highly of this company.

This review is related to the UPS Pick Up Point customer service. My package was taken to this shop after failed delivery. The owner verbally assaulted me when I picked up the package. I dont think that Ive ever been treated that poorly in a customer service interaction. Also, he gave me someone elses package so I am working on contacting that person directly so that I avoid him. He stated that he does not want to be a UPS pickup point and I agree that he should not be. I recommend avoiding this establishment despite the convenience and cost.

This place is a scam. Avoid.The owner told me that the screen he used was an Apple screen. That was a lie. The Apple Store confirmed. The screen this place used for the replacement is awful. Everything is darker, as if the brightness is all the way low. The screen is much less sensitive to touch. And the screen sticks out more than the real iPhone screen. I now need to replace my iPhone as a whole because this place scammed me.

After AT&T inadvertently locked my iPhone from recognizing my sim card I spent hours on the phone with AT&T, Apple, and others. I decided to give the folks at Fix My Phone SF a try. Please note that this review is motivated by my feeling that this business deceived me multiple times and did not bother to offer an appropriate resolution when things went awry. This review has nothing to do with the fact that my phone, ultimately, wasnt fixed. It is unfortunate, because I have no issue supporting smaller businesses like this one.The story: My iPhone 6 sustained water damage, which required a new screen and battery. I paid for the fix, and realized that the touch ID wasnt working. I took the phone back and paid additional money to get that fixed. A week later, I notice the screen was not properly installed so I went back to get that fixed.Two weeks later I noticed the battery life was extremely poor when suddenly the phone shut off, and I was unable to restart it. Frustrated, I took the phone back to the store and the technician ran some tests and eventually were able to restart my phone. However, they were unable to discern what the actual issue was - which I found concerning.Two weeks later, the same issue occurred. This time, the technician told me that my phone was beyond repair and the only refund they were willing to offer me was to sell me a used iPhone, and subtract all the fees I had already paid from the price of the phone, which I found incredibly unfair. And they were unwilling to budge, even on a partial refund. They pointed to the store policies, which I believe should only apply when the business does their job.Whats most concerning is that this business accepts cash only, and I now realize why: you cannot dispute this business with your credit card provider. Moreover, their warranty is only 90 days. Its all set up in their favor, and not in the consumers favor at all. Further, I took my iPhone to two different repair places to run a diagnostic and both stores informed me that the store didnt use genuine parts, and as a result, those parts failed, thus ruining my iPhone.Again, Im not mad that my phone wasnt fixed - Im mad that this business deceived me and were unwilling to operate on fair business practices.

Shoddy repair with cheap materials. Brand new replaced screen (cost: $149) cracked when I sat with the phone in my back pocket. Obviously the materials need to hold up to normal use of a mobile phone.Avoid this place. The fact they take cash only for repairs is a huge red flag. Protect yourself and your stuff.

I had an amazing experience here. Brought in my MAC after it experienced a traumatic salsa spill and they were able to fix it. The owner was extremely patient with the issue. Plus Misha(his dog) keeps you company while you wait.

I dropped my Cyanogen One Plus One phone in in the toilet - yikes!! The touch screen stopped working and obviously there was water damage. ALL of my photos, contacts, etc. are on my phone and I totally panicked.I took my phone to Fix My Phone SF and Mike, the owner, said he would be able to take care of the issues with no problem. Im from Germany and spent 3 days in Sf. The charging port of my Htc one m8 were damaged during my trip .The guys at Fix my phone Sf are friendly and repaired it in 45 min.Unfortunately the repair damaged my headphone port and my microphone. But that wasnt a problem. I came back the next day and they fixed all issues in 30 min for free. A very good service. Thanks for the good, friendly and fast help.

Friendly, helpful, and best all for me personally, i was not scoffed at for being ignorant of the lingo, a big plus in my book. My iphone5 was not holding a charge, and they cleaned out the port, then charged it up so we could determine if it was staying charged and it was! Perhaps others may understand the panic of not having a phone work, and the stress of where to repair it on a Sunday, and these fellows were positive and effective, and although my problem was simple, i am grateful for their service and the fact that they did not charge me anything.

Michael helped recover my SIM card and fix my phone back to normal! It was quick and challenging procedure, but glad it all worked out.

I lost my 2 week old Samsung GN8 running for the train. I was able to locate it using my carriers location feature. A friend helped and we kept calling my phone listening for the ring. I heard it ringing in shop. I left a note but didnt get a call. They werent busy when I got to the shop. AND they were resetting my phone so they could sell it. They were disappointed to see me come in. But Im very grateful I was able to get it back. Just makes one wonder.

I got my Google Pixel XL screen repaired here for $200. I found the price a bit expensive since there are places near San Jose that will do it for $150. But it still seemed cheaper than other places in SF, and they were quick.

Got my iPhone five screen fixed and they did an amazing job.....until a week later. Now my phone glitches every time I use it, my home button doesnt work and my battery life is totally botched and I have to force reset it at least Twice a day ....going in today to see if they can fix it AGAIN.

Please go to another place to get your phone fixed! They botched up replacing my screen twice. When I went back the second time I did not have the receipt with me. The employee who worked on the phone recognised it and seemed to agree to repair it. The boss stepped in and refused to help although they could see it was their screen and their work. The way he spoke to his customers (not even standing still to hear the conversation) and his employees made me sick.For botching up the job, not taking ownership and yelling at his employees: the lowest score possible
