My wife and I very highly recommend Bay Area Cabinetry and Felix, Boris and their team. I am a very fussy client - an engineer, handy person who has a very detailed eye. These guys surpassed all my expectations. Indeed Boris is even fussier than me when it comes to details.Bay area cabinetry did our Kitchen. They were highly recommended by a friend. We had looked at various cabinetmakers and we zeroed in on these guys because they had a fantastic selection of materials/colors especially if you want a modern Italian/European style kitchen. They also do a traditional style. We found their price to be competitive.During the design phase Felix was very patient with us - it took me long time settle on the colors. When Felix started to draw the final design plan it became evident that he was looking after the details on how the drawers and doors lined up across entire kitchen for good esthetics. There are two details I remember: (1) How to best squeeze in an additional pull out for oils and spices while still keeping room for our under the sink space for garbage. Felix came up with a good solution. (2) My wife wanted an appliance garage at the corner, which wasn’t the best way of utilizing that space, but Felix ended up offering my wife what she wanted. Later during installation we realized that some of Felix’s reservations for doing the appliance garage were right on – Luckily Boris dealt with the details make it work.Boris and this team were superb for the installation. Boris has an incredible eye for details. I remember three things. (1) for one part there were two options and Boris asked me if I had a preference. I said lets go for the easier to install option (I am a handy man). Boris said, “if you don’t care either way then I will go with the other option that was harder because the outcome will have better esthetics. (2) The Miele installer had installed the refrigerator with poor alignment, When I told pointed this to the Miele team that the gap was wider on top vs bottom he gave me the BS that the Cabinets are off my 1/64th . Luckily Boris happen to come by at that time and call them on their BS saying that they were off by much more and that his company has done refrigerator installs and he knew was he was talking about. The Miele guys backed off and finally did the right thing. Boris helped us on two other area related to Miele issues. In one area he went out his way to add a special metal plate to deal with a narrow countertop ledge due to the size of the Miele cooktop. At every stage Boris wantedt o make sure everything was just right. He did not take shortcuts.The end result was fantastic. Our friends are wowed by our kitchen. Indeed the City inspector who came for the final inspection said wow as he entered our kitchenSummary: Amazing workmanship and service. High quality cabinets with good choice in material and colors. Competitive price. It was great working with Felix on the design and choosing the actual finishes. Now they have a professional design person who helps on color and design. Fantastic installation – Bros will look after all the details – he is fanatic about doing things right. Of all the projects I have done in my house over the last 30 years, Boris is the only guy who has exceeded my very high expectations. No brainer to use Bay Area Cabinetry for the cabinets and installation. Also I would use them to do the counter top installation.

I used Bay Area Cabinetry for my small kitchen remodel. Felix was very easy to work with. I wanted minimalistic deign with no handle and floating counter-top. With that, my cabinets had to be custom built locally instead of being built in Spain. The builder, Dmitriy, was very easy to work with. He knew his stuffs. He had so much experiences building cabinets for European appliances (Miele). With my limited space, he was able to maximize every single inch of available space. If you need your kitchen cabinets custom built, cant go wrong with them.Dmitriy also built me a pair wine wall panels. All my friends love themLast but not least, their price is every reasonable.Oh, one last thing, those guys know their Feng Shui!BTW, I like them so much that I am going to have them build my custom sideboard and other cabinets for my upper floor remodel

Excellent service! Always available for any questions, very adaptable, creative with solutions for any encountered issues. Very, very friendly and easy to work with people. I enjoyed working with Felix and Boris, and their team from very start ( helping me with selection of materials, and planning, and design) to the very end when they were willing to come back to fix any small issue I or/and contractors encountered. Felix and team were a pleasure to work with. Even though we had a small project (a new tall kitchen cabinet with pull-out drawers and a built-in microwave), we felt we were given personalized attention. Felix was patient through our indecision and long delays in getting things together on our side, and were very happy with the end result! His team went above and beyond the day of the installation, installing our refrigerator and microwave as well as making some electrical outlet adjustments. Overall, we had a great experience with Bay Area Cabinetry and would recommend their services.

I used Bay Area Cabinetry for my kitchen and Im very happy with their product and support. My prior kitchen remodels were off the shelf and simple so Boris and Felix helped me through the process of ordering custom cabinets. These cabinets were pricey and took a couple months to receive, but in my opinion worth the price (I should mention I took a few months to meet with different vendors). If youre shopping for custom cabinets Id highly recommend these guys.The only thing I regret was not using Bay Area Cabinets for the install. These are custom pieces and I wouldnt recommend using a standard contractor. My contractor made some small mistakes affecting the design, but I imagine that using Felix/Boris the end product would have been even better.

Im extremely pleased with the quality of the cabinets and the service I received from Boris and Felix. It was my first big remodeling, and I had little knowledge of what I need/want, and they were very patient with me. Boris has a very good eye for the layout and design, and a good taste. He shares suggestions but doesnt press you on the final solution. The quality of the cabinets is A++! I received tons of compliments on the look and style. And its a low maintenance solution. I highly recommend Bay Area Cabinetry, and in fact, planning to work with them again!

We hired Bay Area Cabinetry to do our kitchen, bathroom cabinets, entertainment area, shelves and bar plus all floors throughout the house. We wanted to do modern design but when we went to several places they prices were extremely high. When my friend, who was former Bay Area Cabinetry customer recommended them we decided to check them out. They make fully custom cabinets in the shop and also offer semi-custom cabinets from Italy with finishes not available locally for almost half the price we were quoted at other places. We decided to go with Italian cabinetry since it has an extensive array of material and color option. Boris was incredible and helped us with design, color scheme and cabinet storage selection. They went above and beyond when we hit an issue with installation and provided really creative solution on fixing them without any impact on the deadline or budget.

Great service by Bay Area Cabinetry. They built our kitchen over 5 years ago, no problem all these years. One of the cabinet doors started making popping sound when closing, Bay Area Cabinetry was quick to respond and dispatched a resource to fix it promptly who fixed it quickly and free of charge!Follow up 2 years later. One highly used drawer (garbage) hardware broke and was making a screeching sound, Bay Area Cabinetry (Boris) replaced the hardware insert and added additional small drawer on top to keep garbage bags. Amazing workmanship and service!

Very happy with this place. They work very fast, use high quality and variety of materials, and I was very satisfied with the end result. The whole process of working with them was very easy. They did a beautiful job with my very non-standard project that other places would not do.
